I'm really tempted to give this place 1 star for the false advertising of their smoothies but I can't. The staff was friendly and the chicken sandwiches were moist and had good flavor. The flavor of the chicken was great (I ordered mild) but the coleslaw could be slightly better since it lacked a bit of fresh flavor. Fries were plentiful and kept me munching on them throughout. If you're into spicy chicken that's served up quickly then Hangry Joe's is the place for you! This is Nashville style fried chicken with Korean elements. Waffle fries, nuggets, fingers, you name it, they got it. The Korean chicken nuggets are offered as soy garlic flavor "with a little kick". We found my wife's nuggets to be more like "a lotta kick". Too much in fact - she couldn't finish it. I got the #1 "sando". And there was a lot of chicken squeezed inside that bun. Some tangy slaw and pickles added made it a worthy adversary but I was able to conquer it single-handed nonetheless. I found the sandwich good but nothing outwardly amazing. The waffle fries are just like you find everywhere else, served with a side of boom-boom sauce. The chicken fingers are served with a slice of soggy bread underneath. Sorry...no alcohol here (that includes soju my friends) which is sad. No boba teas either, but they do offer smoothies. They have fountain refillable cups with all their combos. All in all, the place is good for a family eating alternative to McDonald's, Wendy's and Arby's. It's spicy fast food. Service is horrible!!! Being customer focused is not a thing here. The depth and number of infractions that occurred against my friend and mine's visit is unparalleled to anything I have experienced in any retail space! Especially, since I am paying my hard earned money with the expectation of receiving what I paid for, with proper service and product specifications. The people at this establishment were rude, uncompromising, defensive, unyielding, and unresponsive. I could go on with a massive list. There was lots of deflection and gaslighting simply because we expected to get what we paid for. There was a huge language barrier which result in a communication breakdown from the person who was taking our orders. Everything got mixed up, but not on our part. The manager, who was supposedly offsite, was ultimately called in to address the issue because they (cashier, cook, everybody there) clearly didn't recognize that food should be cooked how you advertise it and served at a temperature that most people eat it at when it has been recently cooked. My friend paid in advance for a take-home order that she wanted to be made before she left, because we were sitting down to eat and the take home order was for her son. She did not want to leave with cold food, but wanted it hot/ or warm when he received it. The cashier person could barely speak or comprehend English, yet was somehow working in a customer service capacity taking orders, yet we were chastised and interrogated ( by the manager and another worker) for not ensuring that the person got the orders right!!! I could go on... but the story ends with me being out almost $17 for a meal that was cold and they refused to fix another or refund my money. #Worst eating out experience# bad customer service experience# poor communication # never visiting again!!!!!! read more

I have been to this location several times now and was very disappointed with my last visit. I ordered a 6-piece chicken wings (by itself) and asked for a cup of water. They charged me for the cup of water separately as if it was a fountain drink. I was not aware of this until I got my receipt. This was in addition to the longer than normal wait for the food. While the chicken, waffles, fries, and sauce were really good.. the customer service was lacking. This was my first time here. When you go inside to dine-in or carry out, you're going to have to place your order through one of their kiosks. No one greeted us when we entered because no one was initially there. There was still stuff all over the counter where a cashier would typically be at. We ordered a drink with our meal but no one checked on us while we waited to offer us the cup, while the customer who was there right before us did receive HIS cup. A family of 5 came in. You can tell they've never been to this place before. No one greeted them either, to welcome them or to basically sell them some fried chicken. They eventually walked out without placing an order. We noticed that there were 2-3 cars coming through the drive-thru getting their orders before us even though we clearly were there bEfOrE THEM. I had to finally get the attention of the male staff member handing out the drive-thru/carry-out orders and ask about our order & inform him that we've been waiting for 15min. ‍. I saw a sign in the window saying they give stamp cards so of course I asked for one. Now time for me to enjoy my meal & let me tell you... hangry joes hot chicken DEFINITELY lived up to the hype that I had been seeing all over the internet! The chicken sandwich was a good size & definitely had a good spice to it! Thank goodness my lips weren't chapped or else I know my lips would've been on fire the pickles in the sandwich were super crunchy just how I love them! The sauce that they give you also delicious! The waffle fries were good, I felt like they could've been a little bit crispier but I'm sure if I asked for them like that they would do it. I had my boyfriend try a bite & he ended up stealing half of my food & he even loved it as well!
