Chop Steak with baked sweet potato
    Heidi L.

First time and it would be my last time. My chop steak had a pieces of stone inside. A half way through the steak, I crunched multiple pieces. These are not charcoal pieces. I kept wondering what it was but the only thought that I can think of is cracked grill. My favorite was baked sweet potato, which is unfortunate. I wish I had a good first impression.

It was good. The food came out a little rushed and came out quickly. The servers were okay. The environment was a little bit more chaotic than usual and the servers weren't as helpful. Maybe today was just a bad night. I'd still come back again and recommend coming to LongHorn.

We liked it so much we came to the Manassas location for a repeat lol this time I just got the Parmesan crusted chicken with mash potatoes and broccoli. It was all really good. My husband got the t bone again and he said it was great. Unfortunately we got there later in the evening so they ran out of baked potatoes but the manager was great and offered us a free dessert. I thought that was really nice of him to do. We will be back for sure.

Great and quick service . I got the chop steak which was served with french fries and Brussel sprouts. Delicious. Also the bread isn't bad at all. Our waiter was very nice and very attentive . Strongly recommended also the place was really nice and they had the games on over by the bar.

Audrey always makes for a fun and personable experience at this location. She is beyond friendly and goes out of her way to make dining here a great experience. My wife and I were visiting friends who frequent this location and they are always hyping up how great Gloria and Audrey are. They are certainly right! Well worth the hour drive to Manassas from Md. I wish our local Longhorn was this awesome.

I was looking for a step up to fast food, I ordered takeout. Here are two photos, One is what I ordered. One is the photo on their website. You decide. It's dry and well done. I also clicked yes for silver wear. Which i did not receive and no napkins.

This location has now become one of my go to restaurants. Our last experience was especially memorable. We were celebrating a birthday and our server went above and beyond my expectations. Nayeli, added candles to our dessert and when we got our check there was a bday card signed by the staff. I was so moved by this sincere gesture. We got the 20oz outlaw ribeye, wings, and chocolate stampede to name a few and all were amazing. We had an amazing server, Nayeli, who took very good care of us. Another awesome server is Wanda. We've been here on numerous occasions and the service has been consistently good. We'll be back soon!

Mmmm, the outlaw bone in ribeye from longhorn is soooo good & just melts in your mouth. It's seasoned really good too & it's a big piece of ribeye. Also, i ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE their Mac & cheese, it's so creamy and cheesy & the bacon bits just makes it ... wow! The asparagus has always been fresh & juicy, & we love their baked potatoes, and the chicken wing appetizer are good & done just right. We have done dine in and to take out several times and each experience has been great. The employees here have all been lovely & food comes out in a timely manner.

The food was good, love the chicken tenders . Marcus was my server he's awesome. Ambiance was perfect.

After checking in, we were quickly guided upstairs to a cozy, rounded booth--an intimate and perfect spot for two. Our server, Katie, was fantastic--attentive, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest when helping us choose between dishes. We started with the deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes, paired with the Black Sheep Mule and a watermelon cocktail (wish I remembered the name!). For our mains, we ordered the short rib rigatoni and the steak bulgogi bowl. To finish, we shared the weekly dessert special: an Earl Grey tres leches. Everything was exactly what I hoped for and more. The starters were standout, the entrees were packed with flavor, and the overall aesthetic of the space was just beautiful. We'll definitely be back--next time for brunch!

It was also my first time at The Black Sheep but I had always heard wonderful things - all of which turned out to be true. The loft area is beautiful and overlooks the entire restaurant. Also when you reserve the loft, which holds up to 16 people, you order off the regular menu. I loved this as other places I checked into were much more restrictive with a higher minimum spend and fixed menus for groups larger than 8. We had 12 in our group. We started with a bunch of appetizers for the table and cocktails. Appetizers included the bacon tower, fried green tomatoes, hushpuppies, crispy chicken wings, and Mediterranean garlic shrimp. Dinner entreés were jambalaya pasta, the American wagyu burger, pulled short rib rigatoni and branzino almondine. There were zero complaints. We enjoyed EVERYTHING!! The bourbon butter cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert literally took me over the top. My belly was ready to burst :) Our waiter was attentive throughout the entire time and everything we ordered came out perfect. I must go back soon. It is a distance from where I live but there's so many things on the fabulous menu I want to try.

Hubs ordered a 8 oz strip and me a 6 oz filet. Neither were cut correctly or would meet a weight test. Steaks were tender, but the cuts wrong. The muscle--dare I say gristle--through my cut was enough to confirm some slight-of-hand tricks are taking place in the kitchen. The onion appetizer was good for the first two or three petals. At some point the reality of the sodium level hits you and you're quickly done. I was disappointed in the meat and in the way our server handled our questioning the accuracy of our order. She gave zero f's that we clearly were not served what we ordered. My advice is to be more assertive if you're not satisfied with your food. The apathetic service, the $7.50 Stella longnecks, their nasty steak sauce (ask for A-1, not the house crap) and the upcharges for a tablespoon of blue cheese crumbles for a salad or a baked potato with anything more than butter makes this chain a HARD pass.
