This is a Halal spot my brother in law took us to while visiting Manassas. They have catering option, chicken & waffles, whiting, catfish, sandwiches and more. Unfortunately, there was no sugar free drink options and no straws. We all ordered something different. Wifey had the lemon pepper wings. Brother in law had the chicken sandwich. I had the fried whitings w/ coleslaw. I did not have a drink because there was nothing sugar free. They did have water though. Chicken sandwich was up in minutes. TikTok brought me here! lol I saw a post on TikTok about top-10 fried chicken in Virginia and this place is on the list so we came here to give it a try. Oh boy, it deserves to be on the list! (and we've tried 3 out of 10 from the list). The chicken was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. It was super crispy without being greasy. No residual grease on the serving plate/box. We've tried the wings, the chicken sandwich, and chicken & waffle (tenders). All items were very good. The only thing I didn't care for is coleslaw. It's little too sweet for me. I think next time I'm gonna go for Mac & cheese or spinach as the side. Also, they have options for mumbo sauce and honey mustard. The service was also great. The food came out within reasonable time. The guy who took order was helpful and patient. Service was great. Small space but there are a few tables for dining in. More of a carry out set up but good for grabbing a bite or if you are looking for catering. The lemon peppered catfish and mac n cheese were very good. I had the chicken but I am sorry I didn't try the waffle. If I am in the area again I may stop in to try the chicken with the waffle. Normally, you could get burnt out on these restaurants coming out with the same food and all in close proximity of each other (Nashville hot chicken/Chicken & Waffles/Mexican restaurants) But for some reason this place actually stood out when I tried it! I've eaten here twice now, and both times, the food was delicious and very flavorful! I've taken the food home both times, which made my waffle a little on the flimsy side, but I still enjoyed it. The inside is pretty simple and slightly small to eat in for larger parties, but there is still enough room for smaller groups to enjoy the food in-house. Their chicken is fried crispy and seasoned well, and if you think it needs more flavor, they have sauces for you to dip your chicken in. They also have chicken tenders and other items to try. pleasantly surprised !!! we were a little hesitant to try this spot after experiencing several disappointing fried fish options from around the county, and the slightly higher prices didn't help that fear.... but wow. super flavorful crispy chicken (a little on the well done side, but that's my preference!) and tangy lemony lemon pepper fried fish.. the menu says swai or whiting, and I chose swai, (not my first choice in fish) but it wasn't soggy or too soft like some places' swai... it was nice and tender, but maintained a good chew to it.. also the portions are pretty decent. 3 pcs was too much for me.. these things were twice the size of a normal tilapia filet.. almost the size of the founders I used to catch in Florida.. i didn't try the waffles myself, but my kids ate every bite of their tenders and waffles, and honestly, they are super picky with their waffles, as they are used to homemade belgian waffles... so i'm going to take their word that they were good. the fries appeared to have a slight corn starchy batter to them, not too much but enough to notice... it was well recieved and maintained their crispness thru out the meal.. a nice touch. the Mac and cheese was a little too creamy for my taste, I prefer a more "al dente" noodles with a less creamy cheese mix..more umami than sweet.. this was on the sweet side - but family loved it.. and I know alot of people will too. home made lemonades were pretty good.. hard to mess that up. family tore em up. wish I ordered more, glad I didn't at $4 a pop. cant say much about service or atmosphere as we ordered delivery. prices were slightly higher than what I'd be happy to pay, but it was worth it to try.. and I'm sure there's a delivery upcharge vs. walking in. all in all, I'm glad to know where to go when I'm craving fried fish that isn't a Sea Captain or Pirate of some sort form or fashion.... or an upscale 'nawlins' restaurant....... and halal too! read more

Soft and pillowy with a little chew (my husband would like it a little less brown but a little too chewy but he's nuts so there...) The chicken is like Georgia style real southern style fried chicken ... the skin crunches audibly when you bite it. There is breading but it's not crazy more like KFC than cheap winglets from the B--ffalo WW place. The Mac and cheese was the only miss . I wouldn't order that again bc it was runny and a bit cold while the chicken-- WARNING NOT COMPLAINT -- is the definition of piping hot. Nice service staff too. Tried it out for the first time today, my review will be skewed a little bit because I ordered through Uber eats, so my driver had to do another delivery first before delivering to my house. I ordered the tenders and waffle; The tenders are a really good size, slightly smaller than Hangry Joes tenders, but very crispy and flavorful. The waffle tasted a bit odd, like it was burnt almost. It wasnt crispy on the outside and it was a little soggy when it got to me, I don't blame the restaurant for this though as it was probably sitting in an Uber drivers seat for a while. But I do hope they were just having an off day with my burnt waffle cause the underlying waffle flavor tastes SO good, currently trying to battle through the burnt taste as I'm writing this because it is THAT good. I also ordered a side of fries and when I tell y'all they filled the bag up like they worked for Five Guys. They're more on the thick side, think of..I guess boardwalk or county fair fries.
