1/2 LB Hamburger and side of chili

I'm turning into somewhat of a regular to hangry solution, and I'll tell you why. Rotating daily specials which never disappoint. Friendly and efficient waitstaff. Build your own salad bar, fresh ingredients, and house made sauce. Meatloaf Fridays.

Came here with the family for dinner. The service was really great. The food was ok. Kinda tasted like a lot of frozen food cooked to order. Which is not a bad thing, but I was hoping for a little better. Lots of the items on the menu were also no longer which made for confusing and disappointing feeling. If I was in town and needed to eat I would come here but not sure it would be my first choice.

I was recommended to come here by a friend who loves the food ..My husband and I came for lunch, we were seated immediately, the service is great, very friendly. I ordered the Crispy Malibu Chicken, you can order this sandwich crispy or grilled, and chili as my side. My husband ordered the Pastrami Burger, with chili on the side. The portions are pretty big, I only could eat half my sandwich and chili, the chili comes in a big bowl !! I'm really not a huge chili lover, but their chili is really good, it comes with cheese, sour cream & green onions. My husband ate all of his food and had a chocolate chip cookie after his lunch, they have a variety of desserts. I would highly recommend

Another great meal @ Hangry Solutions in Lebanon, OR. We decided to grab a bite to eat at their new location, still located on the main drive, but in a bigger building previously occupied by Seeds. The restaurant was packed with patrons. We were seated in the back room by the bar area. It used to be dimly lit, which I prefer, but they had brightened it up, with stark white walls and fluorescent lights, way too bright for my liking... I'm hoping they decide this is not flattering and make it easier on the eyes, fingers crossed. It took a while to order, but our server, who was also the bar keep I believe, didn't seem too experienced. We ordered our usual, an order of Fried Mushrooms, 1/2 Cobb salad, and an Extreme Prime Rib burger with fries. We received everything all at once, and instead of the burger, we got a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. We did not bring this to her attention, as the wait for the food was long enough and delicious anyway. When it was time to pay, the server read back the order (with an extreme prime rib burger) and we paid through their electronic handheld device. There is only one single stall bathroom for each gender, so keep this in mind.

THIS REVIEW IS AMENDED AS I AM IN THE RESTAURANT Wait staff was welcoming and seated us on entry. Super clean and ample seating. BUT we Got a must be new waitress. The waitstaff is loud in conversation like they're out in the country. So I wanted to order the special but they don't do subs for au gratin potatoes. Now I know why. Next time I'll just order the special with a potato also. Then after ordering a potato instead, all of a sudden they ran out of potatoes and are offering subs. The waitress was nice enough but she didn't know the menu or even for sure what came with the special. So I get my potato (see pic) and it's ridiculously loaded with cheese and very little sour cream and chives. The ration was completely off and another patron ordered a potato and theirs was much more as expected. Due to the ratios, I only ate about 1/5 of my potato. This husband hand a great burger but the fries were overdone and very full of oil. Not edible. Our server checked on us. We didn't want anything else but the check. We had resigned not to come back BUT One lovely waitress came and asked what was wrong. She heard us and we were promptly visited by Rhonda who came to hear my take on the food. She completely understood and offered to comp our meal. To which we said no. She wanted to make us something else. Nope. Wanted to give us a $20 gift card. Nope. We said no that's not what we are about. It's ok. She asked if there was ANYTHING so of course we did say yes to dessert. It was amazing. A brownie with a cookie baked in and a piece of carrot cake. So delicious! THEN Rhonda came back with a gift certificate and she comped our meal anyways. WOW! We are humbled! Thank you Rhonda and she said let us know right away if it's not right. We will get right on it! Not only will we be back but we will bring family next time. SIDE NOTE This establishment is watching their performance on the floor and in their food. They are watch YELP for reviews. Rhonda actually came and asked if the previous unamended review was me. Being as how it was me I confessed. I was actually in the middle of this change of attitude and tried true thankfulness for a restaurant and owner that really cares and shows it. Rhonda. You're a class act! Thank you for your understanding, leadership, and commitment to making one heck of a name for 'Hangry Solution'. Bravo!

I had the bún (rice noodles) with grilled chicken and charred prawns. The first bite was good: prawns were excellent, lightly cooked, moist with a smoky sweet char. The second bite included nicely herbed noodles with fresh, good quality lettuce, mint and cilantro. The third bite, and majority of the dish unfortunately, contained overcooked, chewy chicken. The fish sauce mixture lacked birds eye chili, acid and seasoning. Dry chicken dominated, but ironically components that require more delicate treatment were prepared well. The fried spring rolls (cha gio) were greasy, missing that blistered, bubbly skin.. My companion ordered a strawberry matcha and the vegetarian bún: nice and herby and green, but lacking that good flavor (chili, acid) in the Nước Chấm fish sauce. It shouldn't be solely up to sriracha to get a dish to the right flavors. In all, a nice spot aesthetically and friendly staff but while dishes had super fresh veg and some solid proteins, other proteins were overcooked and our dishes were missed some of the flavors we love to see in Vietnamese food.

I got a chicken pirozhki which had pastry that was flaky and rich but not greasy, and a surprisingly hearty filling of chicken, garlic, white sauce, green onion, and tomato. If you'll forgive the somewhat crass comparison, it was like a Kirkland chicken bake, refined with delicate care into a very gourmet dish. The staff were great, a very positive experience. For counter serve, it was very slow (maybe 10 minutes from ordering to eating) but the shop is located in a little market / event venue so there was plenty to explore while we waited. The real stand out, though, is the pelmeni. Available as a dish or to take home frozen in 3 or 5 pound bags, these little beef or chicken dumplings are perfectly spiced and seasoned. I got a 3 pound bag of the beef and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Prepared as they do in the store, with some sour cream, the pelmeni are a sumptuous meal. The tangy sour cream contrasts the savory meat and accents the subtle spices. I wasn't the only one drooling over the dumplings, either - my puppy, on smelling the beef, had to be locked in the other room to keep him from trying to steal the bowl.

The menu is broad enough that there's plenty to pick from. We were there for dinner. The food was delicious! Mom had the grilled cheese with sweet potato fries (they were even good as cold leftovers!!). The sandwich comes with a combo of 3 melted cheeses. Dad had the honey glazed chicken. Also really good. Hubby had the 2-meat BBQ plate with pulled pork and 1/2 rack of ribs. He really liked his ribs. He was pleased with the baked beans, too. And I got the steak salad. Delicious! When trying a new place, I always go for that and I was not disappointed one bit! I tried both the baker's roll (rosemary and sage today) and the heart attack roll. Neither made me think I was eating GF. As first-timers, we were given free chocolate chip cookies. The centers were soft and moist with crisp edges. I do like a ymmy sweet to finish off the meal. It's really nice to have a GF restaurant where the family can all go and find something without compromising selection or taste. We'll certainly be back!!

As we…read morewere walking to the table, they asked if it was our first visit (it was), as that meant complimentary chocolate chip cookies! The large menu can seem a bit overwhelming, but once you figure out how the BBQ plates work, it's easy to order one of their standard dishes, or customize your own combo. I ended up going with the "Single Plate", with an additional side. I got pulled pork with Carolina BBQ sauce, mac n' cheese, a baker's roll (varies from day to day), and added sweet potato waffle fries. Everything was delicious. The pulled pork was a little more "wet" than I'm used to, but it was smoky and flavorful, especially with the BBQ sauce. The roll was almost muffin-like, with rosemary seasoning mixed into the batter, which I quite enjoyed. The mac n' cheese definitely has a cheesy texture, with a caramelized top, but the flavors weren't as sharp as I like -- still very good, especially after I accidentally spilled some of that Carolina BBQ sauce on top of it. My food gets all mixed together on a BBQ plate, anyway; so why not? LOL The sweet potato waffle fries get their own section, because they were that good. The coating was crispy and well seasoned, with a slight kick -- they were amazing. I would probably ask for ketchup to dip them in next time, but since they had brought me extra BBQ sauce (without my asking), I just used that... or ate them without any dipping sauce. Our server was amazing throughout our lunch. She was always friendly and informative, and really helped make for a great experience. She remembered our cookies at the end (we got them to go), and didn't miss a beat when we decided to order from their dessert case last minute. Since it was "pi day", they had lots of pie related options -- all small servings, for 1 or 2. My wife and I shared a Key Lime bar, which was delicious. It was a little richer than I expected, but was nice and creamy, with that tart lime kick. The crust was good and crunchy, too. We knew coming in that this establishment was all gluten-free, even though nobody in our party needed to avoid gluten, and I was preparing myself to be disappointed -- and I can happily say that never happened! A lot of what E&T serves is homemade, and they obviously know what they are doing, so their GF offerings far surpass many dining establishment's full gluten options. If you have lower expectations for GF food, as I did, leave them at the door. Even my daughter, who is a pretty good baker herself, was impressed with the "heart attack" roll that she ordered with her meal -- we have never seen GF bread that fluffy! These guys obviously know what they are doing. Oh yeah, and those chocolate chip cookies? So good -- soft, and loaded with chocolate chips. We will definitely stop in again next time we are in the area.
