We stayed outside of Lebanon while picking up our child from OSU. Before embarking on our 1000 mile trip home, we decided to try Kristi's 50's Cafe a try for breakfast. It is very cool with its 50's theme. The staff were so nice and willing to accommodate my wife's gluten free diet! This place makes you feel like you're in your good friend's house! Great little find on my trip to Boise from Corvallis. Yummy breakfast. Had the classic with extra crisp bacon and it was cooked perfect.

I got the chicken fried steak and it was absolutely delicious. I didn't even need a knife with how tender it was too. The hashbrowns and eggs were stellar as well. Love the old timey café feel of it all. It would even be cool if they passed around newspapers from the 1950s, to add to the feel of being in that time era. In town for the World Track Championships in Eugene and stayed in Lebanon. Going into a 1950's themed diner was a true experience. From Kristi and her wonderful family who welcomed us along with the locals including Grandma. We enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast prepared fresh with classic 50's music from the jukebox playing. Great food and value pricing as the eggs, oversized bacon , hash browns, toast and coffee were tasty. Good advertising for the Championships on display and so friendly all of the people. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get! Yes, it is old school diner style. We have not been disappointed with any food we have ordered. The atmosphere is fun, colorful, and they play music from the 50s. There are things on the menu you will never find in other restaurants such as the Cuban or Chili Dog! While there's nothing fancy about it, their food provides well-needed comfort on a chilly day. The meatloaf sandwich was delicious and my wife's grilled cheese was well-done as well. The perfect retro diner! Kristi did a lovely job, the decor and ambiance are true to the 50's. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Kristi herself. To be honest I was not expecting this place to be as good as it was. I was pleasantly surprised after sitting down to order. Good music, good people, just all around positive vibes. Love the 50's theme. The breakfast menu has a ton of options. I went with the breakfast burrito with meat. That thing was massive and full of flavor. Packed with gravy, ham, sausage, and cheese. Delicious. Also split The Blob, 1/2 biscuits, 1/2 hash brown smothered in country gravy. Came with an egg and sausage links as well. Let me tell you, this tasted amazing. Really appreciate the cook who did such a great job handling all the orders all while preparing such delicious food. Great customer service by the hostess as well. Went here for breakfast today with the better half. Food was delicious I had the Piggy Sue omelette and she had the Belgian waffle (pictured) not only was the food great but the place is nice it has a great 50's theme going on from the decor to the hats they wear. That space must have taken a LOT of work from the dingy dark old starlite tavern it used to be.
