To be honest, we only peeked in there for beer to go. However, shout-out to the $1 "misfit" beers. Packed in unlabeled 16-ounce cans, this is the Forrest Gump of ales because you never knew what you're going to get. As it was explained to us, these beers didn't quite meet standards. Taste was off, carbonation was low, fermentaion was short -- any number of reasons. That doesn't mean it's not drinkable. We chose four based on cans that felt the fullest. As we had no idea what was inside, here were the types of beers (and I may be wrong) and 1-5 rating: A sour farmhouse that was too sour. 1 A saison that, again, was too sour (OK, I don't like sours). 1 An IPA that needed some more time in the tank. 3. We took a little trip from Salem to Lebanon to visit this brewery and it was definitely worth it! We got the Philly cheesecake pizza with white sauce and spent grain crust, it was PHENOMENAL. So great that we ended up ordering another pizza to try, the meat lovers, also delicious! Our friends had the potato skins and those were also a hit. Plenty of tapped beers to choose from including two house made seltzers that were great. The story of the building is awesome, and the owners are so friendly and inviting. I was going to go to Barsidious Brewing but I stumbled across a brew fest which took up most of downtown Lebanon and the brewery was only doing samples for festival. I probably would have returned at a later time to enjoy their beer but a very generous soul gave me his ticket to get into the beer festival... so I definitely seized the opportunity to go sample some beers from breweries that I haven't tried before... including Barsidious! I got the Strawberry Fields to get a sample of which was a hazy summer ale... of course with strawberries! The beer wasn't too sweet like some beers of this nature can become but this one was very enjoyable! They had other promising beer selections but at a brewfest one can't allow grass to grow under your feet since there are so many beers to try from different breweries! read more

Fun looking little building with history. Building was originally a 1909 movie theater and there is an old stage in the back which they still perform comedy shows, music acts, etc. Serve beer, seltzer, cider and no hard liquor. Food good, but not mind blowing. read more

The beers were pretty delicious. I was stoked on my Irish Red and the black IPA. Aside from that, the menu is just a bunch of deep fried stuff that didn't appeal to me. Our bartender was alright, but I wasn't getting as much positive energy from her as I'd like on a Saturday. The overall vibe of this trip was negatively impacted by a dude walking around behind the bar sarcastically negging everybody (our female bartender and myself, included). My wife and I came here because we got a great deal on Groupon. we were pretty excited as they had a decent amount of food for a vegetarian. the impossible burger. i will say we were pretty skeptical when we got it as it smelt and looked just like a real burger. it was really good. the beer selection is really good as well. we have definitely been looking for another time to come back here. read more

After hiking at McDowell creek falls we stopped in Lebanon OR for a bite to eat and some brews. We happened on Barsideous Brewing. It was pretty quite for a Sunday afternoon, but the food was hot and tasty and the beer menu was delicious. We split a chicken tender basket with tots and we each had a beer. I enjoyed the Strawberry Fields Forever, which is a not super fruity easy drinking summer beer. My husband enjoyed the Gem Pilsner which was very tasty as well. People with service animals please be aware of management's discrimination. My friend was asked to take their service dog outside. Their dog had a clearly labeled service vest and leash, was being well behaved and quiet. When my friend confronted management and educated them about what questions they are legally allowed to ask about service animals, he seemed to understand but also said "Be aware that if you come back another time and someone else is managing that night, they may ask your dog to leave too." This is unacceptable discrimination and should be made right immediately. Put a notice up in the breakroom about service animals or something. You run a business, you should know what questions you're legally allowed or not allowed to ask your patrons. read more

A solid spot in downtown Lebanon. Friendly service, good beers (my favorite is the Murphy's Law Irish Red), and good pub food. I like that they are not afraid of having a lot of their own different beers on tap. Makes for interesting variety. Meh....is exactly how I would describe both of my experiences here. Yes, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it again after the first sub-par experience. I kind of feel like when you're out of a beer or any other menu item, even if you can't mark it on each individual menu at least make sure the wait staff knows to tell people when they hand them the menu. Their is nothing worse than browsing, finding, being excited over what you're ordering only to be told it's not available. So, back to the drawing board...find another beer that you're excited about, and learn it comes with a slice of chocolate covered bacon! Except.......they're out of chocolate covered bacon! Waitress was kind, and offered a small amount off the purchase however we were using a groupon so that really didn't matter in the long run. I love the space, and the mezzanine sitting area. I know they offer comedy shows, music and other live events and that's a great thing for the community. I just also feel that when they have various other competitors in the same block that they should really kick up their game and leave nothing to be desired! read more

They don't have much of a menu to eat, but boy their beer sure makes up for it. I purchased an amazing Groupon for 4 of us to come and drink and be merry with another couple. They had a taco salad on special for the day and that just sounded good with some good beer. I really liked their house beers and the beers on tap. They are doing great with making sure everyone social distances and the staff's has masks on as well. I will definitely come back when we are in Lebanon again. read more

How much time you got? I'll start with the positives. The staff was friendly and we had a nice conversation with the man sitting to our right. The disappointment started when my wife saw bright colors on a flight platter that caught her attention. So we regretfully ordered the margarita flight because the other two customers at the bar had them. We also ordered the three cheese chicken chili dip to supplement the alcohol. As we are sitting and waiting for our order, I start noticing some bad signs. Fear set in. I look to our right. The food the man ordered next to us, before we arrived, was hardly touched and appeared to have white bread for his pub sandwich. He also didn't finish but one of the mini margaritas. We received the flight and I would describe it as bad tequila and 3 flavors of kool-aid and one with jalapeño juice. I choked it down like cough syrup because I don't like to waste. The bar tender said that I must like it because I drank them so fast. I did not respond. The cheese dip tasted like hot dog and canned cheese dip that was dry and thickened from overcooking. The friendly women behind the bar were having conversations about being unvaccinated and saying things that made it seem like they were both lacking professional service experience. I was curious about the quality of the in house beer, but was too afraid to try anything else, so we left as fast as we could. read more

We ventured into this establishment after seeing their dark beers touted on Facebook. We were very happy we did. The dark beers did not disappoint. We had the potato skins and the combo pizza. Both were delicious. Service was very personable. We will definitely visit again. read more

Decided it was time to try this place, after several people said it was good. We placed our order online as it's such a nice night we wanted to enjoy our meals home in the sunshine. We go to pick up our meals and we're told one of our Appetizers is no longer available (though it's on their menu) the Mac and cheese balls. Ok so we subbed it, annoying but it happens. More waiting. Then they said oh we don't offer chili any more (another menu item to add on burger). Strike two. Wait more. No apologies or anything for two menu items they no longer have. She even says to us oh we haven't had those in over a year just haven't taken them off the menu....a year?!!? Meals were supposed to be ready at 7 and here we sit 15 mins after and still no meals. Love that Lebanon has more options to dine out now. Husband and brother loved their brews. For food...We would love to try it again during a slower time. Lebanon has definitely been growing in leaps and bounds as of late and it is so awesome to add such a wonderful brewery to the town! The staff and owners are so friendly, even gave us a tour and explained what's happening and what will happen next for the building! The beers are delicious, refreshing, and a nice change of pace from the IPA world, although their IPA is awesome so says my hubbs. The food is fantastic and great portions for the price. Sampled the beers..out of six only somewhat enjoyed one..the in-house light beers were not light and complimentary, had a slight taste reminiscent of gasoline I can't say I've experienced before. Settled on the Kamacitra but one was enough. Food was good flavor wise but portions definitely on the smaller size- left hungry even with appetizer. Glad though to have a place with music and a good vibe. Staff very friendly and helpful. Purchased a groupon deal for 2 flights and 2 pints and an empty growler. Unfortunately the waitress wouldn't seat me after acknowledging me. I must of have stood there for 5 minutes in a moderately busy bar with less than 8 customers. Maybe another day or maybe just give the groupon to someone else. Love this place! Nice remodel, adequate service and the food was excellent! We had among us pulled pork, chicken pita, and a chutney burger. Really tasty food. Salad dressings can be spicy, ask when ordering. But they can tricky about sizes of drinks. Eating in house I asked for the smallest size and was given 16oz. On another occasion, my husband asked for a small cider while waiting for a nearly ready take out order and told he could only get a whole growler. When he got a beer they served 16oz then gave the next customers after him an 8oz. He asked why and they said he did not specifically ask for 8oz. Our first visit and we loved it! A warm welcome when you walk in the door always scores points with me. Our server was perfect - friendly, welcoming, generous with beer samples, and seemed to love her job! We had a gingerbread stout and the Hop Blooded IPA, and both were delicious! We had already eaten dinner, but opted for an appetizer and it was good, too. Our first visit and it was terrific! Comfy and cozy neat atmosphere with decent seating is always a good place to start. We tried the hush puppies and the pretzel cheddar sausage as apps and both were really tasty. We'll definitely order these again. The cheese sauce that came with the hush puppies was different and I wasn't sure about it at first but then kept eating it, so that says something good about it. The Winter Apple salad, my main dish was good, the dressing was right on point for a fruity add-in salad. My only criticism would be that though the presentation was beautiful, the size of the apples had to be cut down to bite size, minor point but maybe one to consider on the chefs end. Husband had the Philly sandwich and like it well enough but I'll add, the jojo's were quite tasty! Probably the best I've ever had, cuz usually I'm not a fan. Then the Spiced apple cake. Perfectly divine! Sweet and spicy, the candied pecans and whipped cream make it all together wonderful. I'm not a beer drinker but hubby had 3. All dark beers because that's what he loves. He thought they were a little on the sweet side but he thinks they've got a nice start on their brewing and said it'll be nice to see how the brewing side develops over time. I also had a taster of the pear cider and it was awesome! Would have ordered one but I was the DD, so next time! Last comment, service was awesome.
