Saw the reviews on yelp and decided to make the drive. Not sure how the stars are so high. I had a spinach turkey wrap with no tomatoes except of course I got tomatoes. My daughter had the turkey triple decker with Russian dressing and it was good. They definitely purely give you a lot for your money. The cheese fries were the highlight of the meal because they were super crunchy. The service was good. The place is sports decorated with multiple TVs placed around. Plenty of parking. read more

I ordered my food first. I was the first one there before the lunch rush. It took 45 minutes to make me a Rueben and fries. And it sat on the counter for at least 15 minutes before I had to go ask where my food was to go. Bad corned beef as well way too salty. And the fries were cold. read more

I found this place thru yelp. I was getting a MRI at a location in Indian Land and this place was close by. Great decision to come here. I looked at the menu and the thing that drew me in was the fact that I could get a Turkey Reuben on a long roll I've never had that on a long roll before. When I placed the order I just assumed it would come out the way I wanted, he brought it out on rye and I was a little disappointed but it was still bomb. I asked him about getting on a hoagie roll and he said he can do it. So next time I'll make sure to communicate that from the rip. But everything was good if your in the area go support. read more

If you are not curing, smoking, or roasting your meats in house, you are not an authentic NY deli. If you just buy your meats from Harris Teeter and assemble them, you are not a real deli. I will give the employees credit, they were working very hard while clearly crowded and short staffed. I also felt they were a bit pricey for the subs. As a native New Yorker, there are some things that I have come to understand that I just won't get again (on a consistent basis) now that I am in Charlotte. Good bagels, for one. Good pizza. And good sub sandwiches. Sure, Publix does a nice job but let's be real, it ain't exactly what I'm used to getting. And don't even bring up Jimmy John's or whatever. So you'll have to forgive my skepticism when I was told to try this little deli next to one of my favorite sports bars and the Sun Valley movie theaters. I didn't even know this place existed. But I ordered an Italian and let me tell you, that first bite made me close my eyes and reminisce. Good Lord this was a good, classic Italian sandwich. So damn good that I brought a couple home. Now the place itself isn't fancy shmancy, it's just a small, cozy deli not unlike the kind you may find in the Bronx. But the subs are simply fantastic. Thank you fellow yelpers that's how I found this New York style deli for breakfast on Saturday morning. I had an everything bagel with ham and cheese and egg. It was tasty and bagel tasted fresh. I sat outside and while it overlooks a parking lot it was a quiet cool fall morning and I enjoyed myself. The inside, though fairly small has lots to look at. It is quaintly decorated with New York paraphernalia. I also ordered a Taylor egg sandwich to go and my Wingate bulldog enjoyed it for a late breakfast. Service was good everyone was friendly restaurants seemed clean and I would return and recommend to others. My son even thought it would be worth the trip from Wingate! Plenty of free parking and it is easy in and out of Sun Valley shopping center. Right by the cinema if you are trying to place it. read more

Met Sileo on a random Sunday and boy did he spoil us!! We were visiting fromMaine, when he met us with bright eyes, kindness and a genuine smile. We have family from NY, CT, RI AND Jersey so We Clicked! What a legend! He graciously made us the "Hotel Package" sandwiches with all the sides, beverages and desserts! I'm sort of addicted to their food and been 2x this week. Everything is very good but don't sleep on a basic sandwich like the turkey bacon triple decker or Philly steak because they slap. If your a cream cheese fan they definitely don't short you on cream cheese on the bagel. The bagels were all very good and the short stack of pancakes "taste homemade " per our friend who ordered them. The food is completely outstanding but the payment machine at the counter for takeout, where you walk up and order, is one of those deals where you are shamed into leaving a tip and the no tip option is very difficult to find, very tiny print. Stopped in for a sandwich on my home and ordered the Steve Special (pastrami, corn beef, Swiss with 1000 island dressing lettuce tomato and onion. Outstanding! The atmosphere here is awesome with NY sport paraphernalia on every wall. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and the service is on point. I have been here 4 or 5 times and this place always provides the best food and experience. In addition to all the other great things about this family run establishment, they have a 99 sanitation score. I won't speak for everyone, but to me this speaks of a business that takes pride in maintaining a clean environment for their customers or as they call them, "The Boss". As my go-to breakfast place was closed this week, I decided a nice NY breakfast would be perfect for my quiet and relaxing birthday morning. Choose to try this place out for breakfast. Walked in and the owner was super friendly, shared a few recommendations on what to get. The girl at the register had me pick a table to sit at. She took my drink order, a hot tea with regular milk (I'm not a coffee or creamer person). A few minutes later she returns with a giant styrofoam cup of hot water and a Lipton tea bag but then tells me that if I want milk, I need to buy their $3+ bottle of milk. So my single tea bag is now $6-7. I asked if she may have milk in the back as I just needed a drop (I like it dark), and she said no, I had to buy the milk bottle too. First, for all of the breakfast places I've been in, including dozens of NY deli's, I have never been told I have to buy an entire container of milk to have milk in my tea. 99% of them have milk available. Secondly, she should have just told me they don't offer milk with coffee and tea, either when I ordered it or before she brought it. I would have gotten an OJ or something. Lastly, and the reason I decided to take my business elsewhere, is how annoyed and put out she acted when I asked if they might have some milk in the cooking area. I left my teens at home so I could have a nice quiet breakfast. I don't need the teen-itude from restaurant staff. Gave 3 stars instead of 1 because I didn't get to try the food, due to the waitress and a ruined atmosphere. And having to find somewhere new last minute. Can't say I'll be back anytime soon. Again, owner seemed super nice, but waitress unfriendliness is a no-go for me when I'm spending my money. read more

Steve does a fantastic job running his shop! I've been quite a few times now, mainly got breakfast bagels (highly recommend bacon egg and cheese 2 eggs on everything, plain, or cheese bagel) but today I picked up lunch: a turkey Ruben on wheat wrap with garlic parm fries and it is nothing short of fantastic! Meat is thin sliced and reminds me of a chopped sandwich which I love! Thousand island dressing is fantastic! You can tell how much they care by how the package the food and it is always hot and ready when I arrive. Love this place, and the best breakfast bagels I've been able to find in the Monroe/Indian trail/matthews area! read more

Went to get the pork roll egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. The menu says pork roll piled high, we are from Jersey so we know our pork roll.
