Yes, friends, this is it. The third and likely final Hannaford location nearest me with a water refill station. This machine can be found on the far left corner entrance area. Only slightly annoying thing about this store is where they decided to place their restrooms. It might just be due to me being so used to going to the Hudson location. But it's not every day that Hannaford places their restrooms on the far right corner toward the front of the store. I dunno. Perhaps they were emulating themselves after Shaw's in the Derry plaza. ¯\_( ° °)_/¯ One last anecdote I'd like to highlight is their parking lot design. Not all Hannafords have this. But there's a section of parking lot on the side which leads to another exit way that leads directly up to NH-102E. Complete with its own cart receptacle. It's just like the setup they have at their respective Market Basket and I'm all for it! So, now that I have secured 2 alternative locations to refill water from, I can rest assured that regardless of how many months/years/decades it takes Hudson to repair their broke ass machine, my family and I will not die of dehydration anytime soon. I have no other choice but to vent my frustrations. My W2'S were incorrect. They stated that I worked in the state of Maine. I brought it to the attention of my HR manager Sharon who gave me an 800 number and told me to call them. Which I have done numerous times. This was April 7th. I still am waiting WHY????? I really love Hannaford's. If I can not find a hard to find item at Market Basket, I can always find it at Hannafords. This store is HUGE and has no crowds, literally. I love there huge selection of organic produce and products here. I also like that they have alot of local produce and items from around New England. Great selection and variety that you do not see at the other competitors. For instance, last week I was making salted herbs, and I needed fresh savory. Well the only place I could find it was here! I was shocked to also see a huge variety of dried chilies! Great bakery and meat shop too. I have also noticed the last 2 times I was there that staff actually come up to me and ask me if I needed help finding anything. This place is def a step above! Finally the prices are actually quite competitive! Much less then Shaw's but a bit more than Market Basket. read more

I love Hannaford as a company, it's my grocery store of choice. This review is focused on the Hannaford to Go offering. I routinely use this program at the Bedford and Manchester locations without a hitch. This store does not have a pull through line and does not have the ability to process card payments externally- two very important details that are not explained at any point in the order process. It took over 15 minutes to complete my order, and according to Cory, the assistant manager of the program at this store, that is perfectly normal because there was 1 other customer there at the same time. Cory indicates that they have run the program this way for three years and have no plan to improve this speed. I use this program because I am frequently packing in errands on my way to work, and today I will be running late in exchange for "convenience". Never again at this location. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I will NEVER step foot in this store again after my experience with the RUDEST employee I have ever encountered. I typically shop at this store at least once a week, but after my last visit I would rather drive to the other side of the country before I ever go here again. While on the phone with my sister, I started walking towards self check out to pay for my items. I've always used self check out as any time I've had an employee bag for me, they put too many items in one bag and never double bag anything, not to mention there is usually a maximum of 1 register open at any given time. As I went to scan my first item (while still on the phone) this employee that was currently bagging another customers items, screams at me that I need to go to that register NOW. I looked over and responded with, "I'm not allowed to use self checkout?" She yelled again then walked towards me and said no I had too many items to do it myself at this time of night. I could not believe an employee would yell at a customer the way she did and no one would ever believe it either so I'm actually glad my sister could hear her on the other end of the phone. She couldn't believe that was an employee yelling at me. I was forced to have this woman bag my items incorrectly just because she was worried about getting out of there exactly when they close at 10. This store should do some serious training in regards to customer service because they do not have any skills whatsoever. read more

I've come up here to do some grocery shopping, and there is always great service. I am impressed with the knowledge of the nutritionist, and it is great how I've learned that there could be huge differences nutritionally in what would otherwise seem to be similar products. For example, I've learned that even though Kashi Heart to Heart Crackers and Triscuit may seem to be the same crackers, Kashi crackers have less sodium and they have Omega 3s, which are nonexistent in Triscuit crackers. Other differences I've found at Hannaford has a larger selection of products that don't contain fillers, artificial sweeteners, and organic items, and I find that the items they do have containing artificial ingredients tend to be promoted less vs their largest competitor in the area. They also carry more local items too. read more

This is my husband and I's go to grocery store. The produce selection is always fresh and high quality. We also buy bakery items (specifically muffins and rolls) almost weekly and find them to be delicious. The selection is great as well. The store is organized very well and I appreciate that the displays and aisles are not moved around much. This allows for a quick and efficient trip! I find the prices here to be very reasonable and there are a good amount of sales that are beneficial for us. My only complaint is that they don't really have the right amount of registers open and the lines can get long at times. read more

I go to Hannafords usually as my first choice. However they keep changing what they stock. Now I go to their competitors when I need a specific product, and do my shopping there. Why do they keep getting rid of brand name products? Also, use to buy their cooked chicken there all the time. Now they are so small, it is worth the 10 min to go up to BJ's and get one you can actually eat. read more

Well, what can you say, it's a grocery store. They don't have the lowest prices in the area. The don't have the best bakery. In fact the don't have the best anything. The store is poorly laid out. The employees move like their on tranquilizers. The only thing that distinguishes the store is their large aisles (which you could argue is a poor use of potential sales space and most likely significantly reduces their sales per square foot). They need to do something to distinguish their brand before the face extinction to Market Basket. When you shop at Market Basket it's like a sporting event - you are wiped out when you're done - but you got great deals and save a ton of money. After shopping in this store you just feel bad that they can't get their act together. Clearly there is lack of vision and management from the top. read more

Have been shopping every Sunday at the Londonderry store and I don't understand why they use that day to stock shelves. It is sometimes tough to get around the workers. Isn't stocking shelves usually done on an overnight schedule? I will continue to shop there for many good reasons despite the roadblocks . Also the prices are getting crazy high. You may as well forget about Hannaford To Go, at least at the Londonderry store. They only accept reservations 1 day ahead and the available slots are always full even as early as 1 or 2 minutes after midnight. They won't answer email and they have asked us not to call them on the phone, so how are we supposed to reach them? Naturally they blame everything on COVID-19 and I get that up to a point, but if they're going to offer this service, seems to me like they should be able to run it in a way that's marginally useful to customers. Walmart seems to have little trouble managing their curbside service now, near or at the peak of the pandemic. If they can do it seems like Hannaford should be able to do it, or else drop the curbside service altogether. As things are now, seems like the To Go service is just a marketing tool ("Look at this great service we offer our customers!!!") and not anything that's of any use to customers. read more
