    Ice Abu Walad Latte
    Mayuka K.

I discovered Yamani Cafe on Instagram and decided to give it a try for the first time. I ordered the Abu Walad latte, which is a blend of white and milk chocolate with condensed milk. The flavor reminded me a bit of Thai coffee, and it was quite enjoyable. The price was a bit higher than I expected. The drink itself was $5.99, and since I ordered as a cold latte, there was an additional $1 charge, and the total to around $7. While it's on the pricier side, it's still worth trying, and I might return every once in a while.

    Pistachio Gelato

I am a picky eater. And find it difficult sometimes for some food to live up to such a great standard. But the crepes from Hannah's cafe are definitely the best I've had. The Dubai crepe is so delicious I also really like the strawberry banana Nutella crepe. And also love the Hicksville cheesecake crepe with extra Nutella. The crepes are big in size and definitely loaded. You will get your money's worth. I feel that the fruit is always fresh and the chocolate is great. I also see they've expanded the menu which is wonderful. The pistachios gelato is so good also. My husband likes the vanilla ice cream with his crepe he says it balances with the crepe well not too sweet. I think it would be nice to see a build your own crepe option. Nice shop and polite staff.

I ordered a few of the pastries and strongly recommend the Dubai chocolate and the biscoff dessert.

It is a large establishment next to the very busy Ikea next door but I surmise people rather eat Swedish meatballs for half the price of Wild Fig. I ordered the Mixed Salad Bowl with chicken and my first impression was that it is quite similar to Cava. However, they emphasize that the main inspiration here is Turkish food which explains why the offer Pides. While Cava most definitely wins in the flavor category, Wild Fig's ingredients are less salty and oily. I would even believe that it might be healthier in that regard? The portions are above average and priced competitively. I was immediately prompted a tip screen on top of a $1 service charge fee. I did not ask what the service charge fee was for but at $12.99 a bowl these days, that is a good deal. I would need to come back a few more times to see if the complaints on other reviews are justified, but my experience today was good.

The staff was friendly but could speak more clearly when asking questions and the could be more informative. They should not assume that everyone is familiar with their food choices. The ambiance was bright and the decorum displayed a perfect prism color spectrum, very soft and balanced. It I had sat at another to table I may have agreed that the facility was emaculate but since I had to wipe out table/ booth, I'm going to say, it can use a bit of tidying I had the chicken and steak salad and for extra because you get four choices, I choose chick peas. I also received the crushed chicken pea instead of white rice and I chose the chick pea based dressing. The food was pretty good and tasty. I didn't care too much for a good and hold plate in one setting. The temperature in the salad could have been closer to the temperature of the rest of the food. The steak was a bit chewy for my and the chicken appeared to have a hint of spice. I'm not complaining just stating my preference, my plus one had no mentions about the food but ete really didn't like the idea of them given her a dirty tray.

The staff and event organizers were on point with the timing of the event. Service was on point with taking and serving the kids food first followed by the adults. The event had a set menu for adults and kids. For the kids order we got the hot dog, which came with chips, pickles, and apple slices. For the adults, my husband got the combo consisting of #39 half sandwich with fries and I got the #55 half sandwich with the breaded chicken with chicken soup. We also had ginger ale, diet coke and strawberry lemonade. My husband finished the entire dish. I just ate the chicken noodle soup which was generous and it hit the spot for me. I ate my hot sandwich en route home which was nice and comforting. Brownies were served at the end, which we took our portion home. Food quality was great, it can get pricey. We had a great experience and would return if there was another event since it's a bit of a drive to get here.

After picking up my coffee, I noticed there was no almond milk. I approached the counter to ask for some, and the employee literally rolled her eyes and walked away. Within ten seconds, she came back with the almond milk container. There was no reason to give me an attitude just for asking for milk that is normally available. On the bright side, the coffee tasted good while I was driving to work. Since we were dining in, they gave us a table number and we placed it in the holder so staff know where to bring the food. Our order didn't take very long to arrive to our table, just about 10 minutes. After finishing your meal, you bus your own table. The menu has options for burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes, floats, and desserts. I ordered a Yellow Label Burger ($13.45) and a Strawberry shake ($6.75). My husband and I shared a Farm Salad ($9.75). The Yellow Label Burger comprises of USDA Prime Beef, homemade fried mac n cheese patty, lettuce, tomato on a potato bun. This was delicious! I liked how after biting into the crispy, breaded exterior it gives way to a hot, molten cheese center that oozes perfectly over beef. The Farm Salad which consisted of spring mix, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and raspberry vinaigrette on the side was also very very very tasty, fresh, and a good portion. The strawberry shake was also very good and had pieces of strawberries. Black Label Burgers pride on only using USDA Prime Angus beef that comes from a single source, Double R Ranch, located in Washington State, a family-owned farm known for its responsible practices and superior beef. You can definitely taste the richness and juiciness of the beef. My husband had the Red Label Burger ($13.25) and the PB&J shake ($7.75). He really enjoyed his meal as well. I really liked the inside decor and the laid back vibes. Black Label Burgers is great for a quick lunch, a night out with friends, or a family dinner. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy, always a good sign. I liked the local (Long Island) themed decor, friendly service, spacious parking lot, wide variety of self-serve beverages (tangy lemonade - yay!) and nicely padded booths. Definitely a cut above competitors like Shake Shack in that regard. I chose the signature black label burger made with dry aged beef and regular fries. While the hand cut fries were wonderfully crispy and flavorful, the burger was kind of disappointing - not terrible, but the bun tasted stale and the meat was very bland. Also I ordered the burger cooked medium but it came out pink in the center, not my preference for chopped meat. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? I plan to try other menu items in the future to see if they hit my taste buds differently.
