They say he has to get it replaced. BUT, they can't give an estimate because the guy who does the estimates isn't in until Monday. Then he has the nerve to say if we take the vehicle home he has to charge a diagnostic fee, all of a sudden thats policy, because we might take it somewhere else to get it fixed. Like it was our fault his guy isn't there. His mom asked to text the receptionist who knows us and he says he doesn't have her number/jcan't text her. She gets the keys to leave and suddenly he's texted the receptionist and he's trying to work something out. Mind you we have been using this shop for over 20 years! That has never been "policy". And what right does he have to hold our vehicle over the weekend. Notice the theme. All this guy wants is money. He'll say anything to get you to leave the vehicle to make a buck. The previous owner was thoughtful, helpful, thorough and timely. This guy is the total opposite and has zero appreciation for long time customers. The mechanics and receptionists are top notch, the owner not so much. Beware of getting anytime other than an oil change.

I arrived at the shop 20-30 min after that phone call and found that the car would not start when I arrived. As mentioned previously the car was running and was driven to their shop and had to be towed out. The owner states they would like to handle this offline. As stated they will not return my calls and in the time it took to write that response he could have called me but did not. They did not charge me (I would hope not after damaging my car and performing unauthorized work) but it cost me $1200 to just to repair the damage they caused. The receipt is attached. I don't want anything from them at this point beyond admitting their mistakes and an apology for damaging my car and lying to me about it.
