I approved most of the work and will come back for the time-consuming repair. As I waited, I noticed Jay was courteous and attentive to every customer. He wasn't selling. Instead, he was careful that the customer understood that he was providing inspection results and recommendations only. No pressure, ever. Another customer slipped me a coupon, and it was honored without complaint. I think the work was good and I felt no pressure or animosity for delaying the one repair.

She took it to a mechanic because it was also stalling during acceleration and it was determined that no oil was in her car and what was in it was very dark and sluggish. I absolutely cannot and will not recommend. How dare you call yourselves professional technicians when you literally robbed a young woman for a service that you failed to perform and instead took advantage of a customer ( a young woman at that, that trusted your company to do their job! DO BETTER! There's absolutely no excuse when labor fees exceed the service and neither was accomplished yet you had NO problems taking her money!!!

Calling it "nice" doesn't even come close! I had an amazing experience. The two gentlemen who assisted me did a wonderful job Bryant and Dwyane (please forgive me if I butchered the spelling or the names entirely; my memory likes to take surprise vacations ). From the moment I drove into the garage, I was met with incredible service. They were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely pleasant. They answered all my questions, explained everything clearly, and even had me laughing along the way which is not something I expected during an oil change! I'll definitely be back.     I went in yesterday to have my oil changed . Unfortunately it was pretty lousy experience. When I…read morepulled up there was one car ahead of me and there were 4 bays that I think had cars in all of them . I think it took around 10 minutes before I pulled in . The guy helping me tried to add on additional services like filters, a new battery ( this one is 2yrs old ) and flushing the radiator. I appreciated his pointing these things out after I showed him my car had failed inspection for an issue w/ a problem with #4 cylinder and some other things . I declined everything and just went with the oil changed and an additional $4 dollar charge to top off radiator fluid which I thought was part of the $117.00 charge. * no tires checked , no vacuuming, no windows cleaned - noted bc Jiffy Lube does this or at least they used to . Anyway .... The real problem was their card reader couldn't read my debt card. After numerous attempts, and 2 different ppl trying to help, I called my bank . I was on the phone with them for a while and they couldn't see any problem on their end . Unfortunately I didn't bring anything with me except my license and debt card and after what felt like an eternity I finally walked over to Home Depot and bought a lanyard and got cash back . I walked back over and the manager took my payment and she apologized and said they have problems with other cards too . If that's the case they really need to address it or at least let ppl know in advance, post it on their advertising maybe . Fortunately I was off yesterday otherwise I'd have been pissed wasting over an hour there. I think I'll stick with jiffy lube in the future .

    My vehicle was serviced TWICE within a ten-day period, incurring charges totaling $1,272.06…read more Unfortunately, I was forced to return two days later on June 25th after my check engine light returned. At this time (June 25th), I was informed that my engine was no longer viable--a fact that was not disclosed to me during either visit, despite extensive diagnostics and repairs. On June 13, I was charged $875.64 for a range of services including ignition coil replacement, synthetic oil change, and tire rotation. Then, on June 23, I returned due to continued issues and was charged an additional $396.42 for a valve cover gasket replacement, which would supposedly address the engine issue. The technician noted oil in the spark plugs and a leak from the valve cover gasket, yet failed to inform me that these symptoms likely indicated a more serious engine failure. Had I been properly informed of the engine's condition during the first visit--or even the second--I would not have authorized further repairs. The lack of transparency and failure to diagnose the core issue resulted in unnecessary expenses and lost time. Save your time and money and choose a different mechanic. I am utterly disappointed after patronizing this shop for the last two years. Do better.

    I had the worst experience at NTB Bowie, MD. Had a flat, bought my tire in to be fixed on Friday,…read more19Jun22026 at ~ 9:05am EDT. The person at the front desk indicated that they were busy, however, they would fit it in to fix the flat and call me when it's ready so they can put the tire back on my car. It's 3pm EDT and no call back from NTB. So I call and I'm left holding for 20 minutes. I had my son call and use his phone and I got a representative who was very curt with me. He said, " I told you we're the busiest NTB in this area. We'll call you back when your tire is ready." Which no one said that to me that this was the busiest NTB. And no one called me back when my tire was ready. I saw that it was 5:00pmEDT and they closed at 6:00pmEDT. I got to NTB, and they had my tire ready and then said no one was there to install my tire. They were gone for the day. Then started arguing with me that I can install my own tire myself. They charged me $39.99 to repair the tire without installing it. I drove home on my donut and had my son's put it the tire on. Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service at this location. I don't like to say this, but I'm sure if I wasn't from the same ethnic group as these guys my experience probably would have been better and they would not have spoken to me so nasty. If they were backed up, they should have said so. I would have gone somewhere else. Lesson learned, don't go to this location if I need something done. Bye Felicia!!!!

    I had a terrific experience at this dealership! I was very nervous going into this whole process as…read morethis was the first time ever buying a new car by myself. I had recently just had my previous car totaled by the insurance company unfortunately and needed to get a new car. (RIP to my Nissan Versa) I researched the car and trim level/features I wanted and then found dealers in my state that had the specific car I was looking for. I then weeded out the dealers that had poor reputations online. Nissan of Bowie had a good reputation online and also had the cheapest listing online for the exact car I was looking for (a 2025 Nissan Sentra SV with Cold Weather Package.) I showed up and met a salesman named Perfection. He was very welcoming and knowledgeable and helped me through the whole process. Unfortunately they didn't have the exact car that was listed online available anymore but they were able to find one elsewhere and get it over to their dealership in a timely manner. Perfection and the sales manager were able to offer me a fantastic rate for the car and were very easy to work with. I did go visit another dealership before I pulled the trigger on the car at Bowie just to get a sense of what other places were offering and to get a little bit of leverage to negotiate. I did not have a good experience with the other dealership despite them offering me a slightly better price, about $200 less than what Bowie ended up agreeing to. The sales manager was very intimidating and not very friendly so I ended up going back to Bowie and we got a deal done. Perfection was very kind and patient with me as I struggled with several technical difficulties trying to fill out the paperwork and add the new car to my insurance. He managed to make the whole experience as stress free and easy as possible, given the circumstances. The sales manager was also very reasonable and was willing to work with me to get a fantastic deal. Finally I'd like to thank the finance manager, whose name I cannot remember unfortunately. He was fantastic and a really cool dude. I had difficulty making payment at first because my bank daily withdrawal limit was way below my down payment. It took forever to get my bank to raise the limit and then even longer to get the transaction to go through. He was incredibly kind and patient with me about the whole thing and I got to speak with him a little bit about life and past experiences and whatnot while we waited on hold forever with my bank to get their act together. (For those inexperienced at buying cars like I was, either make sure your bank cards daily limit withdrawal limits are high enough for what you plan to spend before you go to the dealership, or bring a checkbook or cash lol. Next time I buy a car I'm bringing my checkbook just in case as a backup anyway) In summary, if you are looking to buy a new car, Perfection and the whole team over at Bowie of Nissan will treat you right. And if they don't have the exact car of your dreams on the lot, they will work quick to get you that car and will negotiate in good faith to get you a good deal. PS if you drive for Uber or do Uber Eats currently and have done at least 50 trips you can qualify for discounts on a large number of different new cars!

The recommendations they gave me were grossly overpriced, so I chose not to have any repairs done. That part was fine -- what wasn't fine was the lack of basic care afterward. They removed screws from my car during the inspection and didn't bother to put them back. The technician also told me he would have the service team turn off the "tire maintenance" indicator. I didn't realize until I got home that they never did it. For the money I spent, the only thing I actually received was a "free" courtesy ride home. I had been considering trading in my car and purchasing my next vehicle from this dealership, but if the service department can't handle simple tasks, I don't feel confident trusting them with a major purchase. I'll be taking my business to another dealership.

I spent 2 hours and 40 minutes there, only to be informed at checkout that the part needed for the recall wasn't available and I would need to come back at a later date. I'm struggling to understand why this wasn't identified when I initially scheduled the appointment or at the very least when the service started. Additionally, it's frustrating that this wasn't communicated before I was sold on the extra work. To make matters worse, after leaving the shop, I realized I hadn't been given the warranty card for the new tires I purchased. I had to turn around and spend another 30 minutes retrieving it, which only added to the frustration of an already disappointing experience. I took time off work to be there, and now I have to figure out how to take more time off to address an issue that should have been resolved today. I don't believe it should fall on me to confirm the availability of parts before an appointment, and I'm very upset about how this was handled. How do I trust Toyota of Bowie in the future for service or sales?
