Fast, friendly, helpful response. Yesterday I had an issue with my Subaru where I had a low tire pressure light but could not figure out what tire was the issue. I put in a service request through Subaru, who in turn dispatched Hannan. Hannan got in touch with me and I was able to explain the issue, so instead of sending a tow truck they sent someone over to help inspect and change/repair the tire. The technician arrived pretty quickly - way faster than AAA ever has. We worked together to confirm the tires were actually fine and the issue appeared to be a misfiring sensor. He made sure everything was working well and the car was safe to drive before leaving. Honestly one of the better "roadside" assistance experiences I have had. read more

I saw one of their drivers today behaving very dangerously on the highway. They were tailgating every car in front of them, weaving through traffic, and even came close to rear-ending another vehicle. Extremely reckless and unsafe driving. This is definitely not a company I would trust. read more

For months I have been asking this company for a receipt for the services they provided me in May, and they have yet to send me a receipt. I need this receipt for the warranty on the car battery they installed. I am essentially being robbed of my ability to make use of the warranty later, because I have zero proof of purchase of this battery. I had a good experience with them. I needed my Tesla taken from Annapolis to Arlington. Tesla customer service gave me their number. They gave me a 45 minute ETA, and the driver arrived on time, was polite, and had the proper equipment to load the Tesla onto the truck. read more

called AAA because I had a flat tire. they sent Hannah Towing. The guy pulled off the flat and offered to patch it for $40. He then put the tire back on. He didn't properly tighten the wheel and over the course of the weekend the wheel worked loose and damaged the studs on the wheel that the lug nuts attach to. When I filed a claim for the repairs to AAA, they denied the claim and denied any wrong doing. Terrible experience and I would not use Hannan again. read more

I am thoroughly disappointed with my experience with Hannan Towing. I called AAA last Wednesday because my battery died in my Honda CR-V. Hannan's driver, Jose, showed up to my house as a subcontractor of AAA and jumped my battery using his mobile jump pack. The car successfully turned on, and I was thrilled. Jose explained that he would be removing my old battery and putting in my new one. At that point, I went inside to finish dinner. I came out a few minutes later and watched him wrap up the last steps of the battery change. Jose asked me to start my car to see if the new battery was working. I pulled out my key fob, and it would not unlock the car. I was pushing different buttons, and nothing seemed to work. I removed the manual key from the fob and got into the car, but I could not start the engine since it was a push-to-start only car. At that point, the technician seemed very confused and said that he would be putting my old battery back into the car. I suppose this was to see if the key fob was somehow connected to the battery? I wasn't sure, but I know very little about cars and was deferring judgment to the technician. I went back inside and left the technician to work on the car. I came out again a few minutes later, and neither my regular key fob nor my spare spare were engaging with the car at all. My technician said he had not seen problems like this before when changing a battery, and at one point during the attempted repair, I thought I heard him say "I broke it," which was alarming. I asked Jose who he could call - a manager, his dispatcher, another repair person, anybody with some more experience who could guide him through a situation like this - and he said there wasn't anyone to call and that I needed to have it towed to a mechanic in the morning. The next day (Thursday), I called Hannan Towing to explain the situation and that I did not plan to pay for any of the damage that was caused, or any of the diagnostic tests run on my car, since what I needed when I first called AAA was a battery change and nothing more. After calling AAA, and Hannan Towing sent out their driver as a subcontractor of AAA, I ended up with my old battery in a totally dead car. I would have been better off that night using my jumped car to drive to a local Advance Auto Parts store and having them change the battery instead, but I wanted to trust my technician to complete this very common procedure. The dispatcher who I spoke with, Irfan, was mostly polite over the phone, but refused to take accountability for his technician's damage to my car, saying that there must have been other problems as the reason that my car would not respond to my key. I do not believe this is the case, and instead of receiving any kind of quality customer service, he mostly deflected blame away from himself and the mechanic who seemed to blow my car's fuse, and became increasingly condescending as I asked that this company pay for the damages to my car. Here are the facts of the situation: Wednesday night, I called AAA to get my car jumped. Their driver came out, and successfully jumped my car. Afterwards, he placed a new AAA battery into the car while I was inside eating dinner. After I came out, the car was completely dead and would not respond to my keys. I was then abandoned by my technician, who I did not see make any calls back to his office asking them for assistance, with my old, dead battery. With that in mind, I struggle to comprehend how there could be other problems when my car was running successfully after first being jumped. Today is Monday. Approximately five days, several diagnostic tests, and $470 later, I finally got my car back from the mechanic. The Honda dealership ran struggled to identify the problem for most of the time that my car was in the shop. I do not know how a simple battery change can escalate so steadily toward an expensive, strenuous and time-consuming process. My experience with Hannan Towing was overall abysmal, and I look forward to hearing how they plan to make this right. read more

The absolute worst - liars who don't care about the customer. Had a tow arranged through Hannan via my insurance. For the first attempt, they kept saying they would be there "soon." That went on for several hours. Then at one point they were "40 minutes away." When I called 60 minutes later, the driver still had a different vehicle on his truck and was an hour plus away. Tried for another day and they made an "appointment." They never showed at that time. Dispatch claimed he would call someone, never put me on hold and came back and lied some more. I had my insurance company cancel the tow and trying to figure out who else I can report Hannan's dishonest business practices too in the State of Maryland. The absolute worst most unprofessional towing company in the entire region who cannot be trusted. If your insurance company called them, good luck. If you have a choice in who you pick, don't pick them. read more

My Tesla would not open or disconnect from the charger because the 12 volt battery died. The person from Hannan Towing knew exactly what to do. He was very helpful and careful in dealing with my car. I highly recommend their service, especially if you have a Tesla. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would! Had my car towed through GEICO to my house, and they parked my cared that doesn't run backwards on the street, I called them back to fix it and they refused! They told me I would have to pay again to get them to fix it, got several tickets so I called them back to fix what they originally did wrong, they came to turn my car on the right side for $100 but popped my tire in the process, called the supervisor and he said he needed to speak to the driver and that he would call back, he has not called back and I have called several times and all my calls get declined! They towed my car from the back wheels, leaving the front wheels touching the floor; the driver saw smoke and told me it was "fog." When we made it to the destination, the driver left the car keys inside the car, intending to gain time as he ruined the transmission. The damage was 12k. My insurance and I sued them, and they try to avoid responsibility; their manager, Sheik or Shrek or whatever, is a little man with no pants on who loves avoiding responsibilities. They were also sued for wrongful death, as it seems that their drivers were a danger. Avoid this company. read more

This company should be put out of business for the astronomical amounts they charge. $4k and hour $750 per day in storage and they will unhook and hook up to another one of there rigs while on scene to charge double. They want your rig vehicle/auto towed to there property to "hold it hostage". If you see them show up at your scene refuse them! read more

The guys that did the tow worked very hard and diligently, but everything beyond them went very wrong. This is not a company who communicates. Here's what went wrong: 1. The office guy Zain was very nice, but changed the price on me from $620 to $900 after they already had every piece of information they needed to give me the price of $620 (truck weight, dimensions, pickup & drop off location, etc). 2. They were 20 minutes late for the pickup which threw everything off for getting it where it needed to go 3. The tow truck drivers were not given the important screen shot of information, or the detailed description of where to park the truck. I relayed this info to Zain at the office, but the driver said he never received it. He shows me his messages from the office. 4. Both the office and driver promised a receipt would be sent right after the tow was completed. I had to call the office several times until it finally came several days later. This was something that was desperately needed to show proof of out-of-pocket expenses to submit to insurance. 5. The supervisor was unwilling to reconcile and go below $800 after I was already given a hard quote of $620, and after they tried to change the price to $900 for literally no reason. They are scammers, do not use them at any cost. They also go by H&H towing with Geico. Driver arrived later than his ETA. He claimed my trip was 19 miles and said I needed to pay when the trip was actually 13 miles and up to 15 miles was covered by insurance. I confronted the driver about the invoice he sent and that I shouldn't have been charged, and he made it seem like the trip mileage was from the tow company. He left, then I started getting nonstop calls from "Mark" from H&H who had a thick Indian accent. I explained the situation to him and he still claimed that the trip was 19 miles as recorded by Geico. When I asked him to please send me the itinerary they had so I could make sense of it, he threatened that the driver would take my car back. I then called Geico, and they agreed that my trip was 13 miles. Geico spoke with them, and now the 19 mile trip claim was from the driver's side. Geico paid the invoice so I wouldn't have to deal with it, I am upset that they ended up paying them. They make Geico look awful as a partner. read more

Something highly fraudulent is going on with Hannon. They towed my car less than 10 miles and charged $500.00. They charged for a day of storage $ 75.00 and $65.00 admin fee. The car was only on there lot less than a few hours. Even more strange they only took cash payments knowing what they are doing it illegal. According to there website they accept credit cards ? According to PG county law Section 26.142.14.fees they should not charge over $175.00 for a tow. They have some racket going on with the police . read more

Geico roadside assistance sent them to pull my truck that was stuck in the grass coz of wet weather. Driver came with no mask on. When he was done, there was a pizza delivery guy blocking the driveway & instead of getting him to move so he can leave he went off the driveway, drove his big truck on the grass, knocked off the cable box & cracked it. When my husband flagged him down, he said oh it'll get back. Driver was belligerent. There's no way the grass will just get back from the damage he caused without human intervention. I sent them photos of the damage & never heard back from them so I just reported it to Geico directly to handle it. read more

I was assigned this company as a tow for AAA emergency assistance and the driver took over two hours when they were supposedly 10 mins/miles away. The office kept playing games with ETAs of 10 miles every 30 mins that I called them. The driver could not be reached any way I tried. The driver ended up dropping the service call over an hour and a half before hand with no correspondence between AAA or myself. Don't use this service under any circumstance. If I could do negative stars I would. Please be very careful with this company!!! I was in an accident on the beltway. Needless to say I was shaken and wasn't sure where I wanted to have my car towed. The tow truck driver (that was called by the state police) said get in the truck and I will recommend a place. My car is then towed to AR Collision. (Affiliated with the towing company) I asked to pay the towing bill prior to leaving that night and was told it was impounded by the State Police-NOT true and I could pay when I picked up my car. I wanted to take care of my car the next day-Saturday because I was in Maryland and live in Virginia. I called early on Saturday to get an estimate and was told I would have it by 2PM. No estimate ever arrived! Then Monday I called 13 times through out the day and had a mechanical voice say the number was busy. Called again Tuesday it took 11 phone calls to first be told I would get an estimate right away and then on the eleventh call was told sorry the estimator has gone for the day and I would receive it on Wednesday. Well, lo and behold, they did get me an estimate by 7:30PM on Tuesday after all. So, estimate in hand, I went the next day to get my car. I went to the shop where it was sitting to pay my bill only to be told to go across the street to the towing office. I go to the towing office and was told I needed to go back across the street to the shop. Prior to going back across the street I asked the guy if he was sure and he said absolutely. As I got to my car I was called back and told that I needed to pay at the towing office. WELL, to my utter astonishment what I saw on my bill was they had the audacity to charge me $250.00 for storage!!!!!!!! $50 for each day they FAILED to do their job. Through out the entire experiance they treated my extremely poorly. I was in a major accident on the beltway for God sake!!!! They had no compansion and from the minute I walked in it was all about money, charging more and more money! My insurance paid me $100 out of the $460.00 I was charged. They just want to suck as much money out of every thing that they can!!! Its a terrible way to run a business! And don't even ask a question, I have NEVER heard such double talk in all my life!
