About 15 minutes later Suraj pulled up, did his diagnostics, and started replacing the battery. Suraj was professional, knowledgeable and replaced the battery in under 10 minutes. So from the time I called AAA to the time Suraj finished was within 30 minutes. No one likes to buy a new battery, but this was as painless a process as you could possibly ask for. read more

My car wouldn't start this morning and after calling Cars & Trucks Battery Service, who said they were booked for the day and were actually kind of rude about it, I called Door to Door Battery Service. The person I spoke to on the phone was super friendly, gave me a very reasonable quote, promised me he could have someone out within the hour, and sure enough, maybe 30 minutes later, Rakesh, a Door to Door Specialist arrived at my place. This company is outstanding! As part of a AAA roadside assistance call, they responded very quickly, contacting me directly to change my tire. Suraj Lama was the driver, and without my being there, he offered to install the donut spare and return the car key to the service station at which my car was parked. That technically may not have been approved by AAA, but being on scene, he offered and took care of the tire change. This was a huge time saver, bc it allowed the car to be drivable again while I was at work, and be ready immediately after my work was over. Great job and very reliable, friendly driver and service. Jerome replaced the battery in my 2001 Toyota Camry with great professionalism. He tested the "old" battery, which was in fact less than four months old, determined that it was defective, and installed a new one. He was thorough and meticulous, and cleaned the entire battery area -- the tray, the battery itself, the terminals, the bolts, etc. multiple times. It looks even better than a new battery in a new vehicle. I was hugely impressed and told him so. This is a level of service that I rarely see any more on this day and age. read more

Mr. Shakya is an excellent technician. He called me in response to my AAA service call about my dead battery and advised me of his arrival time. He arrived in 15 minutes, as he stated. My AAA plan includes a battery replacement. He tested my 7-year-old battery and confirmed it was dead. Very professional. He removed the old battery, cleaned the terminals, cleaned the posts on the NEW battery, hand-tightened the connection to the new battery, and ensured the compartment was clean, the wires threaded correctly, and the cover was reinstalled correctly. As this was a Volvo convertible that does not like its power interrupted and can cause "immobilization" codes to appear, care must be taken. Everything was tested. Only the clock needed to be reset. Mr. Shakya did not depart until he was certain the job was perfect. I was very impressed. read more
