Great spot in Kirkland ! Lovely decor and vibe in the restaurant, super friendly staff, very attentive. I didn't realize until I asked the staff, but this restaurant is a sister to Mamnoon in seattle ( big favorite of mine) The food is just as good however they do not have the beet dish shamandar , the menus are a bit different. Just to keep in mind.

Tried out this Lebanese restaurant first time for a quick bite. The atmosphere was bright , roomy with windows. There are round tables for 4 and 6 people which are great for social gathers. The service was great. Loved the server Aischa who gave us her recommendations. We ordered Muhammara and Lamb Kefta Kebab. The Muhammara had amazing spice and the nutty texture. It came with 'house arabic bread'. It only came with 3 little pieces but we requested for more. Lamb kebab was excellent with great flavor, charcoaled texture, and a side that is a great balance of grilled marinated red peppers. Will definitely be back for to try the lunch menu.

Pleasantly surprised but how healthy the food tasted. Light but flavorful. Smaller portions so be warned to order enough. The jeweled rice is worth trying, altho a small cup of rice but delicious and needed with the protein dishes. Decorations are clean and tasteful

A little bit challenging to find as it's in a shopping complex. Located across from Lululemon. Love the interior vibrant decor. All the kebabs are delicious (steak and mushroom) and the halloumi was one of my faves. Server was super friendly and attentive but accidentally spilled a whole glass of cocktail on me... I shall never wear white again lol.

Six of us were able to get a reservation same day and were excited to try this spot, We loved the ambience and the food was good--it was the best hummus I've ever had, the mushroom kebabs were fantastic, as were the other main plates we tried (the lamb ribs, chicken kebabs, and lamb kebabs) were amazing. The issue unfortunately was portion size... the kebab plates don't come with a side except for a salad... we ordered rice with which added $8 per plate but I know what some have mentioned and maybe it's having teenagers but was surprised how small the portions were and how much we had to order as a result. The food was wonderful just for the more casual atmosphere I wasn't expecting to spend as much as we did!

Such a nice spot to grab dinner! Went on a weekday and was easy to get seating. Ordered two dishes per person for a nice variety of options and some leftovers for home. Really enjoyed the spices and flavorfulness of every dish - everything was unique and tasty. We had the crispy halloumi, sweet batata harra, fatoosh salad, and the lamb skewer. It is a little pricey but a nice experience with friendly service and a nice atmosphere.

Very nice restaurant. Nice design and I like the space between tables. Great service too. Nice open Kitchen. Very clean too. The appetizer plate with humus and three other items was ok. I personally had a much better hummus before. The Halloumi cheese was ok. It was cold and this cheese is much better when it's hot and soft. The cauliflower dish was delicious I ordered the lamb kabobs which was delicious but unfortunately it did not come with anything else ?? A side of rice would have been great. Because of that I give the place four stars.

Great food, great music great cocktails Thanks to James for making the fabulous apricots sumac_ ~iri. I told him I didn't want it to be too acidic, so he was late on the lime and it was perfectly balanced. And happy hour this is $12 instead of 14. And that falafel dish five dollars on happy hour is a great deal. I've had falafel in many places in the world, and this one is fantastic. OK I wish the garlic yogurt was vegan. I didn't even ask because I am assuming it's probably not. . Take a look at my photo. They serve it with wonderful, purple cabbage. Everything was perfect. I came here at about 445 on Monday and it was very quiet. Sometimes that actually can work against you because you may have staff moving slowly and the beginners in the kitchen. However. It was perfect. They make a chocolate chip cookie with tahini and sea salt. That might sound strange but if you're a fan of chocolate chip cookies, it is delightful. I will definitely be returning.

I keep wanting to give this place a chance to up its game and I'm usually left perplexed, some dishes are so yummy I cannot get enough and then they miss the mark on other but what I can only think of as trying too hard. This is absolutely the hill I'm going to die on, your bread needs to be a larger serving than what you have, if not entirely unlimited as is custom in almost every Lebanese/Shami restaurant. We ordered the hummus, great flavor with 3 little pieces of bread (we went ahead and order more bread and were given 3 more little pieces of bread). This is the same case when we ordered the Mezza last time, hence the ordering of the second "basket" of bread. We also ordered the Halloumi Salad, which was utter perfection, a little bit of apple and honey to accompany beautifully fried halloumi pieces. I love a good Batatah Harra but I do wish it was in the traditional form of crispy potato pieces and not whole mini potatoes as the potato skin doesn't hold as much of the flavor, the garlic sauce with is absolutely divine. Lets move on to the mains we ordered 2 Shish Tawook and 1 Lamb Kebab and we really should have done it the other way round. The kebab was so delicious, the flavors were on point and the cook was perfect, would definitely order again. The Shish Tawook missed on several levels it was very bland and I didn't like the cuts they used, the dish is usually very flavorful but this one just didn't work even with the garlic spread although the accompanying salad was very yummy. We also order a 2 side of their rice (we requested no dried fruit) as the mains came with no rice, come on guys really, the rice itself was nicely perfumed and herbaceous. The service was ok if a little awkward but nothing I'd ding them points for and the interior is always beautiful. I would also suggest that they keep the shawarma on the dinner menu, I for one cannot make it there for lunch and it would be great if it were available all day.

I've dined here more than a handful of times and it's been delicious each time. The service members have been accommodating and kind. The restaurant can feel laid back during the lunch hour then a bit more of a dinner party vibe at night. We've had lunch, dinner, and brunch here and dinner is probably my favorite because of the larger menu offered. All four dips are good, but something about the caramelized onions in the labneh dip is out of this world good. We had the chicken wrap and lamb wrap today for lunch and it was amazing. The lamb didn't have much meat in it, but the chicken wrap was stuffed to the brim. Love that the wraps come with salad and frites as well. Great fry with their own spin on ketchup. I'm craving it right now! Can't wait to be back for another great time here.

All I can say is WOW... NOT IN A GOOD WAY. Came here today for lunch for my girlfriend's birthday and had high hopes until it crashed and burned fast! Sat down and ordered shawarma wrap and a falafel wrap. Basic lunch items and the restaurant at less than half capacity. Fast forward 35 minutes and we are still waiting for the food... THEN when the food finally came everything was cold as ice and she could care less. Especially the fries and when I mentioned it to the waitress she got an AGGRESSIVE ATTITUDE and became rude and unpleasant. She did not smile once and clearly doesn't like her job or working weekends who knows but the customer should NEVER feel that. The Owner should be embarrassed he didn't come once to check on the situation and rectify anything until I physically GOT UP OUT OF MY SEAT and told him the fries were cold and had to flag him down to get my check since the waitress was blatantly ignoring us. He was definitely not the owner you'd expect from a nice restaurant. He acted as if it were a normal thing to wait that long for cold expensive food as if we were in a McDonald's drive thru. He didn't apologize once for the waitress or the food and this is NOT ACCEPTABLE. As an owner of a business you should take responsibility and rectify the situation. Not run away and pretend you are a busboy. will NEVER EVER BE RETURNING. Take your business to a place that cares about customer service. This place is a joke but has potential to be amazing with the right staff and MANAGEMENT.

No change to previous review. All content there is still relevant, except they update their menu regularly so not all dishes stay available. They still have the dinner/upscale dining, the casual wraps take-out window, and bar seating happy hour menu. The restaurant has nice deco. They aim for upscale, and their prices reflect it. In retrospect, it is expensive for what the food is. Our server today was constantly hurrying us, offering to take our plates away at all times. No one is waiting for a table, and it wasn't near closing time. It was rather annoying. Dropping 0.5 stars, bringing a 2.7 average food rating to 2.2, rounding down to 2 Stars for this review. Newly tried dishes, all from dinner menu: Moushakal (mezze mix) $28 + extra Arabic bread, $4 - 2 Stars This mezze platter comes with a little dollop of Basal Labneh (yogurt), Baba Ganoush (eggplant), Hummus, and Muhammara (red pepper). I honestly have had better versions of each one, most recently in San Francisco. What I object to the most is the price. That is very expensive for the amount of food we got. Halloumi, $7 (I think) - 3 Stars This dish contains 5 pieces of grilled salty cheese. One of my table mates loved it. Another said it could be crispier. 2 others were neutral. Batata Harra, $16 - 3.5 Stars Menu: crispy fingerling potatoes, green garlic bi zeit, pickled fresno, labneh toum This is one of the better dishes. Well-seasoned, crispy fried. A spendy French fries, sort of. Aleppo Spiced Eggplant, $23 - 2.5 Stars Menu: roasted eggplant, naz khatoon, red shatta, aleppo, herbs It doesn't seem possible for a dish that visually looks very good to taste ok+. Somehow, there's too much going on. The roasted eggplant didn't retain "body", so it's much more on the squishy side than the roasted firm side. And each strip is sitting on a lot of sauce, such that if it was firmer, it isn't anymore. The idea is good; the execution is not. Plus, it's also expensive. There are about 1.5 to 2 (Chinese?) eggplants on this plate. Shish Taouk, $28 - 2.5 Stars Menu: yogurt-marinated chicken kebab, sugar snap peas, morel mushrooms, black lime toum, fresh herb mix The chicken is well seasoned and flavorful. I might order this again, but I suspect I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Absurdly overpriced. Served Kebabs which was literally four pieces with some onions and baby tomatoes on the side and NO RICE! For Desert they served I kid you not, ONE PIECE OF BAKLAVA! Needless to say, overpriced. This place exists so it can pay the investment for the new apartment that just got built on top of it. read more

I had lunch with a friend today as she said she wanted to try Hanoon. We were so impressed with the interior of the restaurant. Even more impressive was the food. We both had the lentil soup to start. We both had the chicken shawarma wrap that came with fries and a salad. Delicious! Will definitely be back. read more

We went after 1 p.m. on a weekday, and this place was not busy at all. We felt weird because our server was friendly but had no patience. We ordered manoush combos because they were so good on a previous visit about a month ago. Unfortunately, we regretted ordering them because this time, our wraps each had a humongous amount of olives and too much zatar, making them extremely salty. We won't go back due to such inconsistent quality. Added one additional star for the good flatbread used for the wraps. read more

The only good thing is the fries. Messed up the order and gave us the impression that we were in the wrong. Then asked for garlic sauce and was passed by multiple times, no sauce came. Finally got an apology that wasn't finished as the server walked by while muttering the apology. All the while, i never brought up any issue. Just informed them that my order was wrong. I ordered takeout via Uber eats and the labneh arrived completely moldy. The Best By date on the package was listed as a week later so it makes me question how they're preserving the food. Completely unacceptable for a food establishment. I'm so glad I caught it before eating. read more

We were very excited to try this restaurant and were not disappointed. We enjoyed the flavors, atmosphere and service. The Lebanese food here is not typical but rather has a few twists which worked! We tried the appetizer platter Moushakkel, fattoush salad, shish tawook platter, meatballs with pistachios platter , jeweled rice and mint lemonade drinks. Everything was delicious with exception of rice which was over cooked but would have been nice if not so. Mint lemonade not that special - would not reorder. Our fav dishes were the hummus ( creamy and with chickpeas) very similar to hummus served in the Middle East. The pistachio meatballs platter was a delightful dish, especially with the aubergine/raisins/pepper surrounding sauce. Yum Fattoush salad had apple which is not typical but worked really well. My recommendation to management is to please either increase your portions or lower your prices. We spent $166 for this meal with 20% tip - food was great but the portions didn't justify the prices. read more

Wow, what an amazing dinner! I was craving Lebanese food and found new restaurant to me in Kirkland that we decided to try since I love their sister restaurant Mamnoon so much. And WOWZA, all my Mediterranean cravings were so satisfied! We tried 4 of the apps, 4 of the entrees, and baklava to close it all with a delicious bow on top! Every bite was delicious, this Chef is amazing. And Tayler, the new general manager, was absolutely perfect and took care of us like we were her personal guests. We can't wait to go back once they roll out their new menu so we can try everything on that one too! read more

Needed a quick lunch and wanted a new flavor experience- WOW on all accounts. Fast friendly service, nice open kitchen concept, quick food delivery and oh my gosh was it delicious. We had the halloumi (eat it asap after delivery for best texture) and split the kofta (spiced meatball/sausage kebab). Highly highly recommended. We will be back. read more

Love, love, love this place! We were in Totem Lake for a mid-day errand and decided to try this resturant for lunch. Fantastic food experience. Our waiter Jordan was excellent, and the food was amazing, with complex flavors that made the meal an unexpected experience. We ordered the two share plates (seasonal greens fattoush with chicken and the cauliflower), as well as a side of halloumi. So, so good. The chocolate cake with seasame capped off a great meal. Highly recommend this place. read more

Excellent chicken shawarma wraps. Wraps and salads are delicious, served quickly, and are reasonably priced. Beverages are kind of expensive with cans of soda being $3, but the food prices and quality are very good. Friendly waitstaff too. We'll definitely return. read more

Let me start my saying that since this location is opened, we've been here almost every week. Their lunch menu has lighter fare and is a bit less expensive. The menu is sophisticated and varied and each dish is expertly prepared using only fresh ingredients. Our favorite is Muhammara, Baba Ganoush, Moushakal and their wheat breads. The last 3 times we've been there, we have been unsatisfied. Their regular servers are gone. Their is a lot of change in management. One of the lady who took our order kept pushing us to order extra things while we told her we're regulars. They served cold bread and we asked to get fresh warm bread and she didn't take it well. Yesterday, we were shocked that while we are paying premium prices for the dishes $28, nothing less than a fancy upscale restaurant --- they don't offer service on the table. We had to go to the counter like a self serve to place orders. They looked confused, we had to ask them to get to-go boxes multiple times. Nobody checked on how the food was and nothing looked organized. The meatballs tasted very average and our fries came out just close to 'warm". Sadly, we will have to say goodbye to this restaurant for now until they really make some serious changes. read more

Had dinner here based on the reviews. Came in early so there was no wait. Place is bright and cheerful and the wait staff were very attentive. The food was a mixed bag. Drinks and appetizer was delicious, as was the sweet potato entree. Unfortunately the chicken was undercooked and the dessert was bland. We might try again but not any time soon. read more

I came here for Seattle Restaurant week and their lunch menu was very reasonably priced. They have nice ambiance with slow jazz/ bossa nova playing in the background. I ordered Babo Ganush and Lamb Wrap. Both are excellent, espeically the lamb wrap. The lamb sauce combined with mint was delectable! Definitely will come back again. read more

I can't give it five stars because I've only tried the falafel. But it is the best falafel I've had anywhere around town. In fact, it's the best I have in many years. The price is not cheap but the quality is excellent and it's very fresh. We really enjoyed having a meal and listening to the summer concerts in the little plaza in front of the restaurant. read more

Waiting for the full launch and then I'll update my review. So far I've had the chicken shawarma as a salad, baba ganoush, mint lemonade, and a cauliflower app I can't remember the name of. The chicken shawarma salad was not impressive, it may be tastier as a wrap, but the ganoush is fire and so is the lemonade. They have these very tasty pita chip/crisps that are addicting. The cauliflower dish was ok, the pickled veggies make the dish, I could've had more. All in all, looking forward to the full opening as right now it's window service bc I'm sure the menu will be less limited and the cocktails I'm hoping will deliver. read more

This place is GREAT! Just tried & had the chicken Shawarma, falafel wrap, harra frites, & arnabeit( cauliflower salad). It was all so delicious & fresh. The wraps were definitely among the best we have ever had. The arnabeit salad was out of this world( recommended by take out window employee) we loved all of it & the staff were so friendly, helpful, & professional, Will definitely be our new go to restaurant for dine in & take out. One and done here. The food was very tasty but overpriced. I got the eggplant, which was quite delicious. I figured for $23 it must be a generous enough portion. Uh... nope. The restaurant has only been open a week, but their food and sauces are amazing. We tried the chicken shawarma wrap and the zetar wrap ; both were excellent. The fries are a bit pricey at $9 but the flavor was outstanding. Looking forward to dining in once they get their indoor space finished, but for now I look forward to getting take out again. read more

Based on decor I wondered if it had been a pub or steakhouse once in its life: lots of paneled and coffered wood, chandeliers, and wooden booths with coat hangers. We started with the baba ghanouj and ordered the fesenjan and a beef kobideh for meals. The meals came with a salad to share rather than small individual salads on the plate which was a nice touch. The staff was able to provide some veggies with the baba ghanouj since my partner in crime can't have bread. The baba ghanouj was great - exactly the smoky eggplant flavor I was craving when I saw the sign for Persian cuisine. The kobideh was nice and tender - you could taste the onion. The fesenjan was also extremely good. One question: Who eats this much rice in one dish? The rice was very good - but it is a lot of rice. I haven't had Persian like this since we had Persian neighbors who invited us over.

I have avoided Zeitoon all these years because they are higher cost, not necessarily justifiable since there are lower cost Persian foods or similar Mediterranean restaurants in the area. I finally decided to try them. Our server answered my questions, including his favorites. Two questionable/sketchy things happened: 1. Our server recommended the Mirza Ghasemi, which he said is great with the optional soft-boiled egg. Sounds good. We ordered it. The optional egg is $2, which is not identified on the menu. (See photo) 2. When he recommended the Mirza Ghasemi, we asked him to remove the Mast O Khiar which we initially chose. I said we only want one appetizer. He nodded and said OK. When the Mirza Ghasemi arrived, so did the Mast O Khiar. They put both on the table and immediately left. I flagged the original server to remind him we said to remove it, but a different person showed up instead. He: "You want to cancel this? No problem." and took the yogurt away. I did not order this; it is not me canceling. Minus 0.5 stars from overall rating. The Food: Mirza Ghasemi + egg, $14 +$2 - 2.5 Stars This eggplant dish is the one recommended by our server. We do enjoy eggplant dips, especially warm versions. The optional "soft boiled egg" is not an American version but tiny threads of yellow egg bits mixed within the eggplant mixture. Honestly, we cannot taste the egg. It is borderline a scam. This dish would be 3.5 stars if it was $14 at the menu price, which is already on the high side. A $16 eggplant dish is delusional. Lamb Shishlik Kebab, $36 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Lamb rack marinated and chargrilled (see menu photo) I knew I would not see a rack of lamb on my plate. I got four lamb chops. Meat quality wise, this is excellent. It comes with a ton of basmati rice and a salad with a refreshing light dressing. This is a bit spendy for the quantity of meat, but taste is good. Soltani Shishlik, $42 - 3.5 Stars This is the exact same dish as above except add a skewer of grounded beef kebab. This kebab, and I quote my hubby, is "not that good". Same comment for the rest of the dish. A basket of lavash bread arrived at the table. I believe it came with the Mirza Ghasemi. We have eaten many lavash breads, commonly used as wrap so it is grilled and/or heat-pressed with oil on the surface. These lavash breads are simply warmed. I learned they taste terrible that way. The surface has a sandpaper texture and still taste like sandpaper when eating it. If I paid for this separately, I would be upset.

In long Meeting an old friend for lunch, I looked for the best place that was close to halfway between us. I knew he dug Persian, but, for all the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean I've tried, this was my first venture. Safe to say I was long overdue for this exploration. 100th is pretty dense with little strip malls and mixed-use retail/residential for miles through here. A couple blocks away, you're in very leafy suburbia, but this stretch of road is 4 lanes and endless business district. BBMC is tucked on the east side of the street in a corner suite, plenty of parking. The dining room isn't much bigger than the back of most moving trucks you've loaded in your life; there's seating for maybe 20, and about 4 more on the little sidewalk patio. There's a clean and spacious washroom in back, though getting a wheelchair in there might take some doing. You get laminated menus and a carafe of water within a minute of sitting. It's not the longest menu, but evidently pretty extensive by Persian standards. We both went for grilled kebabs with basmati rice and salad. I was on duty to bring home a full serving of leftovers, so I went with the King's Choice. Great big salad, and a huge tray of rice. This is clearly designed for at least 2 to share. As it happens, that was the plan, since we're having leftovers for dinner at home. The salad has tons of fresh veg and a nice herbaceous yogurt dressing. No sauce on the meat or rice, but there's a ton of flavor from perfectly-balanced dry seasoning. The beef, ground beef, and chicken kebabs were all bursting with moisture and flavor, cooked just to perfect doneness, and showing nice little hints of grill scoring. I paid a little over $70 for what will be 3 servings of food (at least), and I haven't even tried the eggplant appetizer yet. I grabbed that to go. This place is worth many repeat visits, and I'd be in here regularly if I lived closer.

We visited Hanoon for dinner on a busy Saturday evening, and I highly recommend making a reservation as all the tables were taken. Our party of six was greeted warmly and welcomed by the excellent service staff. The ambience is excellent, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We started our meal with Moushakal, a side of falafel, and arnabeit makli (fried cauliflower with pickled vegetables). The pita bread served was the softest and best we've had to date. All the appetizers were delicious, though the portion sizes were on the smaller side. For our main courses, we chose the mushroom kebab, chicken kebab, and lamb kefta kebab. Each dish was superbly cooked and tasted fantastic. The chicken and lamb were particularly moist and juicy. However, the portions were quite small for the price we paid.
