New spot in Kirkland, right next to the Turkish market. Cute atmosphere. Delicious. And very attentive staff! Even though it's a order-at-the-counter-and-we'll bring-it-to-you kind of place, we had at least a couple of different peole stop by our table to check in on us. Felt very welcoming. The only drawback was the smell of smoking on the outside patio. Don't know if someone was smoking there then, or it's just used for smoking so often that the smell stays, but it made sitting outside a little ick (for a non-smoker). Overall great! Will be be back to try more things!

The iskender doner was incredible! As good as the iskender doner I used to get in NYC. And huge as well. So exciting to finally have good Turkish food in the area. The cacik was also delicious. The Adana kebab was ok, and scant on meat. The fries were nothing to write home about. The 5 stars is for the incredible iskender.

This is a great foodie or take out restaurant. It is a clean modern hole in the wall. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced for 2026 Seattle. Everything I tried was delicious and very generously portioned. It is Turkish food which is pretty novel for this area. Service was okay but it is mostly self service. I wouldn't do a first date here but If I am looking for a great meal for a reasonable price, I would definitely go here. It will be in my rotation of regular spots. The food came out quick as well. It would work for a work lunch spot too

Went for dinner on a weekday at Koza and they were surprisingly busy the whole evening - only 1-2 tables available at the time. Vibes are casual, ordering at the register before seating and bussing your own tables. Food came out quickly and although it was casual, still comfortable and always a plus to not have to worry about parking. Overall, I enjoyed my time, but portion sizes are just okay for the price - expect to pay $25 before tax and tip for a plate. Lamb Shish Kebab (4.25/5): Lamb itself was fantastic - super tender, great char, and just lightly gamey. Sides were good, but nothing to write home about. Doner Wrap (4/5): Fresh veggies with super tender doner, great combo, but I do prefer a carb-ier bread option. Fries were fried extra crispy and garlic sauce is always a win. Rice Pudding (4/5): Super thick and goopier than your typical rice pudding. A little one note, but tasty and definitely worth trying.

I had a lunch today for the first time. I ordered a mix kabobs and donor plate so I can try everything. The service was great. Nice staff and nice owner too. The food was delicious. The kabobs were delicious. The donor meat was tender and juicy which was great. I will be back again.

We came to Koza on Saturday at about 2:30 PM. It was busy at this time! Walking in, it was lively and it smelled wonderful. We waited in line, and got to look at their display of foods and pastries while we waited. We ordered a lamb shish plate, a feta pastry, and a lamb shish plate at the register and then took our number to an empty table. The Turkish coffee was wonderful! It was very flavorful, and it came beautifully presented. I love that they served it with little bits of chocolate and some water. I ordered my coffee to be a little bit sweet. I liked the balance of the punch of the coffee and the aftertaste of the cardamon and other spices. I do not remember the name of the feta pastry, but it was right at the front while I was placing the order. I bought it on impulse, and it was tasty and hard to share. The lamb shish plate was excellent-the lamb was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I loved the grilled tomato and pepper this came with, and they were generous with the naan, rice and salad. After our meal, we went next door to do some shopping for our pantry! This was so good, and I can't wait to come back and try more things!

Been waiting forever for this place to open! Finally! Welcome Koza Cafe! All things Turkish and Turkish tea/coffee. I was mainly interested in their Turkish coffee but ended up trying a few things. And they were delicious. Lamb Adana Kabob - juicy ground lamb, rice, salad. This was tasty. Lamb shish plate/ good. Doner Wrap with beef - tiny! But tasty. Need a thicker pita or something. Lentil soup- very good! Came with some bread. Yummm! Turkish coffee- delicious! We even did the cup flip and read our fortunes. Not bad :) And Turkish dessert- a little too heavy for me but it was good. Overall, super excited that they are finally opened. They also have breakfast menu all day. Parking is a major challenge during late lunch rush around 1:30 pm. But it clears up fast too. Friendly staff/ owners. I sat outside and enjoyed the sun today. We don't get too many of those. Great spot, tasty food. Love my Turkish coffee! Yummmm.

Real Turkish food, and very good Doners. Their Turkish coffee is legit. Can't wait to go back and try more from their menu.

THRULINE COFFEE @ DOWNTOWN KIRKLAND…read more Parking is available along the street, and there are also multiple parking lots throughout downtown Kirkland. I ended up parking near the small plaza with the UPS Store and Nothing Bundt Cakes, and it was only about a 3-minute walk to get there. When I walked in around 9:30 AM on a Tuesday, it was already pretty packed. There were a lot of people on their laptops, grabbing coffee, and just hanging out, it felt super lively. I love the overall environment of downtown Kirkland, so I was really excited to finally try this spot since it's been on my radar for a while. I was also meeting a friend, which made the experience even better. I ordered their pizza scone, and it looked so good, and it definitely delivered. It was warm, crusty, and had such a unique flavor combination. I've honestly never had anything like it before, and it just felt perfect for a spring morning. I also got a hot chocolate, which wasn't my favorite. It leaned more on the watery side. The space itself is really nice and spacious. They have plenty of seating in both the front and back, which is great whether you're meeting friends or getting work done. Their menu is also pretty extensive, with options like sandwiches, pastries, drip coffee, matcha, vanilla lattes pretty much everything you'd expect from a café. One thing I appreciated was how fast the service was. Our order came out in less than two minutes, which was impressive, especially given how busy it was. The staff were also super friendly, which always makes a difference. Overall, I really enjoyed the vibe here. Even though the hot chocolate could've been better, I'd still definitely come back and try more items.

Urban Coffee lounge has been a neighborhood staple for years and years. I'm obsessed with the fact…read morethat they make their own syrups, with the exception of a few. I absolutely love their specialty drinks like honey cardamom, and a shakerato. The vibe and atmosphere is wonderful. It's usually social and low-key but never too loud. They have excellent food, matcha with option to remove sugar (not all coffee shops have this!). Generally, I feel like their staff is really great! Love the location minus the issues with parking being tricky for a quick stop, sometimes need to pay. I keep coming back here! With gas prices over six dollars and budgets getting tighter for so many the one thing that hinders me is their prices. Their baseline drinks are an average of $5.75 + tip. Quiche slice is $8 two hard boiled eggs near $4. Typical typically if I'm gonna spend almost $10 I'd rather buy a fancy drink like a bubble tea or go out for an appetizer and food. When you own your own espresso machine and Matcha at home it's hard to justify getting such expensive drinks unless there is that "I can't make this at home" appeal - housemade syrups, Boba, etc I do love that urban coffee lounge has pour over options which can be time-consuming and cold brew, which is delicious and also more time-consuming. I appreciate their presence in the neighborhood. Having lived in Seattle for so long with so much access to incredible coffee I appreciate urban coffee lounges level of expertise with coffee. It is more rare on the east side. (Zoka is great of course!) And I will keep coming back, but sparingly due to prices. (Am I the only one who feels this way? Let me know!) Thanks for being here, urban coffee lounge!

The seating is the main draw for me: an open interior with booths inside, plus patio tables when the weather cooperates. There's room either way, so it works whether I'm with a crowd or just family wanting something low-key. It gets busy, which makes sense given how popular it is and where it sits downtown, but the wait is always shorter than I'd expect. Service is fast and friendly even on weekends. The food backs it up. It's a Copenhagen-inspired spot with coffee roasted in-house, and everything I've had has been solid, the almond croissant especially. Reliably good, and that's why I keep going back.
