He is a kind and warm physician. I am very grateful to switched to his care after my Primary doctor of 20 years retired 5 years ago.

If I can give 0 stars this is exactly what they would be getting the medical assistants are the worst they don't pick Up the phone calls nor return voicemails I had to walk in to see what was going on when I arrived they claimed that they were leaving me voicemails to a number I never gave them plus I left many voicemails with my number so yeah I will not ever be returning to this doctor again I am switching him asap and I suggest you all do the same he does not care for your heath and neither does his staff read more

Efficiency is the key here. Pharmacy is just downstairs. Doctor is a pastor as well. He cares patients with a heart. Somebody may complain that the doctor doesn't spend time with them. But come on, doctor here helps you to deal with your issues not listening to your mumbling. Go to the psychiatrist if you just want to dump trashes. read more

The worst doctor I've ever been to, he is careless and doesn't take you seriously. I had a nodule on my elbow I was concerned about and he just looked at it and said it wasn't a big deal, cool. But for my mental well being could you test it? Still no. So weeks later I came back complaining about how it hurt to lean on. So he got frustrated and decided to cut it off all the while he did it he kept heavily sighing and saying " this is the biggest waste of my time" like ? UM? And I've had plenty more terrible experiences with him. I get sore breasts and felt ribbing so I went in , again, no testing done he simply said I had "lumpy breasts" not even a blood test??or literally anything other than your word? I vaguely remember him once telling me " to prey" ? Then I had a lump under my chin ( which I've had for years , come to find out my NEW Dr found out what it was and I'm now okay) he told me it was just a swollen lymph node. SIR??? I must have went back 3 times complaining about that lump. Months and months in between for him to insist it's still just swollen? How is that normal???? This man won't test you. Won't examine you, and 100% does not care about you. Horrible bedside manners. He even walked me to a poster and pointed at the lymph nodes and I was like? Sure ? Okay? I feel much better now thanks for nothing. If you want to be laughed at or insulted this is the place for you. read more

I don't quite understand what the deal is with DR.Wong- he takes long stretch's (weeks) away from this office to do philanthropy work which is nice but that will postpone seeing him for almost a month. This has happened to me twice also when he visits with patients in his office he seems very robotic as if you are a problem that he's just trying to rush through. It does seem like he has a lot of patients scheduled at one time but doesn't seem to get to know them at all. During my visits he barely looks at you or speaks to you. It's basically "what do you need from me" "okay - try this medicine" "here's a referral" "okay -bye" He's definitely efficient and straight to the point so I'll give him three stars. If your looking for a more meaningful relationship or even a cordial one - look elsewhere. Also the phones in this office need to be fixed. There has been many times I've tried to call and the phone line is dead or busy. I've had to call at all parts of the day just to get through. Everyone's nice I've never had an issue there but man you would expect a bit more warmth from this kind of profession read more

I am writing this review after having the worst experience with Dr. Hanson Wong I've ever had with a provider. This doctor was assigned to my baby who is PREMATURE by the health plan randomly. Upon entering his office I asked that he be advised to wear a mask into the room with my baby and was told he was given a note. Clearly he cannot read because he came in without one anyways. I advised him again to put one on. He then did not evaluate my baby and stated he did not want to "give her his diseases" to which I don't know to this day what he meant. When I informed him of all my babies medical conditions he stated "wow you know a lot, you're very knowledgeable." He then asked me "what's the central thyroid" since my daughter has a thyroid condition. How can a doctor not know where the central thyroid is? I took my baby back to him the following week and he then sent us to the emergency room after a minute evaluation stating she was in "respiratory distress". When I went to the hospital she was born at they stated she was "fine" and that's how the lungs of a baby on oxygen should sound especially premature lungs. This doctor has no knowledge of premie babies. His office also lied to the health plan about this entire interaction. I changed providers. I warn any parents with babies especially premiers or children with health conditions, DO NOT COME HERE. Change as soon as you see his name as your doctor. You won't get the care your baby needs. If I could have gave a zero star I would, but yelp made me put at least one star. read more

Don't ever go to this doctor unless you want him to laugh at you, talk over you, not take you serious and make you feel completely ridiculed

He is the worst doctor I've ever been to. I saw him back in March 2020, I probably had Covid but I couldn't get tested at that time, it was the very beginning! I needed a note to go back to work so I made an appointment with his nurse who had me come in the afternoon, that's when they were supposed to be seeing patients that were potentially contagious with the virus. I walked in and the nurses were nice, they shuttled me right back to an office. After a long wait the doctor came in and said pick up your purse and get out. How could you come here, what if you get me and my staff sick! I had already paid at this point! And they told me to come in! I said no I have some questions and I just sat there and he had to listen for a couple of minutes. He kept trying to intimidate me, telling me to pick up my purse and get out, what a scum bag! I am extremely hopeful that he's one of those doctors going bankrupt because nobody will go to their office during Covid! read more

He was terribly rude and disrespectful to my husband and my son. My son had broken his arm a few days before the appointmet and we needed to see him because of HMO's requiring authorizations of general dr and we were not aware that we needed the disk of the x-ray. then Dr. Wong proceeded to yell at my husband like he was 3. saying Listen, listen, listen, do you hear me speaking. lecturing him on how he shouldn't come and see a doctor if he isn't prepared. never in my life have we had this experience. for someone who makes a ton of money off of patients and insurance you would think he'd be nicer. Do not go to this doctor, your kids have already been through so much already during this pandemic. read more

I was assigned a Dr. previous to going to Dr. Wong. I hated going there because they played evil cartoons that gave me nightmares all the time. If those cartoons gave me nightmares, I feel so sorry for the kids. At Dr. Wong's office they were playing beautiful music softly. I loved it. I also think Dr. Wong is a great doctor who efficiently knows the real problem and treats it perfectly. He listens and gets it right. read more

Either their phones aren't working or they don't want to pick up calls. Calling this office is such a pain in the a** !!! It either instantly goes into hang up mode or voicemail. It will take a miracle for a receptionist to pick up the phone. Something has gotta change for this unacceptable behavior. Do you not want patients coming to your office? I don't have time to be on the phone and hope for someone to pick up. Also, Dr. Wong please take your time with patients. Sometimes it can take a while to address all the concerns. If you push people or rush someone it just wastes your time and the patient's time. read more

An orthopedic surgeon evaluated my right knee- a knee with 3 previous surgeries- with the intent to relieve my pain and enhance knee flection. That evaluation led to a recommendation for a knee replacement. As a result, I obtained a second opinion from Dr. Hanson Wong. I accepted Dr. Wong's treatments of prolozone therapy and those treatments- without surgery- led to a pain-free knee with increased flection. Several years later, I injured my right shoulder. That injury immobilized my right upper arm and led to intense pain. My health provider took an MRI which showed a torn rotator cuff. The health care provider's surgeon then recommended surgery. Again, I got a second opinion from Dr. Wong. Dr. Wong concluded, with great confidence, that he could bring healing- without surgery- to my injured shoulder with prolozone therapy. Three years later, without surgery, I have a pain free shoulder with normal movement. Dr. Wong is an excellent medical doctor- a doctor who views surgery as a last action. Dr. Wong is the best! He can listen to a long-winded patient (me) and pick out the vital information. Then he referred me to a couple of specialists who identified my issues and some I didn't realize that I had! I really feel "plugged in" to the benefits of modern medicine, after having him as my primary physician! read more

I was surprised that a doctor this knowledgeable takes insurance, and even more surprised that I could select him as my HMO primary care physician. Insurance doesn't cover these, of course, since the geniuses running the insurance companies would rather throw away hundreds of dollars on marginally-helpful physical therapy. read more

I've had back issues off and on since I was 17 and lifted something way too heavy. Dr. Wong is amazing. The prolotherapy really helped my back and alleviated the need for back surgery other doctors suggested. He recommended 5-7 treatments the first time but after 2 I was feeling so much better that I stopped going. No problems for 2 years until I helped someone move. Went back again for the full 7 treatments and usually go once a year for "strengthening". My son has also gone after tearing his ACL to have platelet/ozone treatments (the same some famous NBA stars have used). He's had 4 or 5 of the 7-8 treatments recommended and I'm very curious to see the MRI after treatment is complete. Dr. Wong is hard working Christian man who volunteers and teaches doctors overseas to perform these procedures. He and his staff are very pleasant. He's usually humming in the office with a smile on his face while he treats patients. Some complain the treatments are too expensive however if you're one of the people who prolotherapy helps it's worth every penny. It's unfortunate that insurance doesn't cover this. Dr. Wong is the PCP that was assigned to my husband & I through our insurance. The first time we met him, he seemed to listen fairly well to my concerns about my recent allergy issues (hives, itchiness in the last 6 months). He decided to have some blood work done for a general check up and to test for some food allergies, which I found out that I have. When my husband & I returned for another visit for both of us, he basically said to take Zyrtec. I am not the kind of person to just take a pill and not try to address the root causes. So I asked if I should see an allergist because I think that I am allergic to other things than foods, and he basically said no and gave me no referral (which I need from him due to our insurance). He barely listened and we had to stop him from leaving to ask the question about the allergist. He just left me without any options other than take Zyrtec. He offered other information on supplements, some helpful ideas for general health but not related to my main allergy issue. So I left feeling lost like there was nothing I could do to help myself. My husband also felt that we did not receive any answers or real solutions for trying to improve my allergy issues. Then, for my husband's appointment for a physical, we had questions about his many moles. He barely looked at them and did not offer to give us a referral for a dermatologist. I couldn't believe that he wouldn't offer to give us this referral since my husband has so many moles and everyone should get an annual skin check up! So we left feeling like we had hit a brick wall with nowhere to go. We will be changing our PCP. read more
