Over the weekend, I took my pups for a walk along the LA River and stumbled upon Happier Cafe by Taddaa Coffee--such a cool and unexpected find. It felt like a unique little event space with a coffee/tea truck set up, which added to the charm. The guy working the truck was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes the experience better. Since it was a hot day, I asked for a recommendation and ended up getting an iced pineapple tea. It was so refreshing--light, slightly sweet, and perfect for cooling down after a walk. What I really loved is that it's both dog- and kid-friendly. They even had a little sandbox area for kids to play, which is such a thoughtful touch and makes it an easy stop for families. Definitely a hidden gem along the river. I'll for sure be stopping by again on my next walk. read more

Such a cool kid-friendly spot. They have parking at the lot. You walk through the park and along the LA River until you see their sign outside. You order your coffee through the trailer. I had the ube latte which had a good amount of ube in it. The drink itself was really good. The whole vibe of the place is so relaxing. My baby enjoyed playing in the sand. Fourth stop on our LA River bike-and-matcha tour and honestly the cutest space of the day. The little camper setup is adorable, the vibe is so chill, and the employees are genuinely so friendly. I wanted to love this one more than I did, but unfortunately the matcha I ordered came with Chaga (mushroom?) which I hadn't expected or wanted and it wasn't really my thing. It was definitely my most "experimental" matcha of the day. Still, I'd come back for the space and service alone but would certainly hope regular matcha is available - hold the shrooms! This was the only stop of the day that I had been to before and I remember my previous experience being great, and receiving what I ordered! read more

Love this little hidden cafe couldn't find it at first, realized its on the backside of a park, adjacent to a huge warehouse that sells campers. really curious of how they looked Alot of seating and shade, great place to catch up with a friend or just solo coffee getaway. This place is a dream for little kids! Right on the river, they have a huge sandbox with toys in the back and so much space to chill. The guy there on Thursdays is so kind, and the coffee is amazing! Met the owner at Coachella funny enough lol. I love the area it's in, the barista that was there was very kind. Told me the history of the cart. The day I came in was cloudy which was perfect. Bring some sunscreen! Had the Ube Latte, amazing. The vibes of the area was very inviting. read more

On a gloomy Saturday morning run near the LA River path we came across this cute concept café. Honestly, it's the best idea ever since so many people walk,run, jog, bike along the path so they couldn't have chosen a better place. We decided to stop by and get our coffee fix since that's what we do after we run so it was perfect. We checked out what they had to offer and spoke to the barista assisting us and he was so kind and insightful with all the events going on in Frogtown . The barista mentioned that they have been open for about a month and that this is more of a soft opening that they have going on, but I do hope that this location is there to stay in are open more days of the week because currently they're only open on weekends. I'm not quite sure how to get there if you're not walking along the path, but I know that there's a neighborhood on the other side of the river path and perhaps they'll have parking available. But if you're already walking along the river path, you'll definitely come across this coffee place. My friend and I both got the Tadaa cold brew latte, which is their vanilla hazelnut cold brew latte and we got vanilla oat milk cold foam. So that is pretty new to me and it wasn't that sweet as I don't really like sweet coffee drinks. Overall, I'm so happy that we stumbled across this place and it will definitely be another place to add as a coffee stop after our run. read more

The team member we spoke to was super nice. Told us they have been open for business for a few months. As you enter from River path there is a stand selling Vegan / non dairy Pineapple treat with waffle cone, made with coconut milk. $6. I don't drink coffee so I didn't check there but I'll take a photo next time. Cute seating areas all around. Lots of bright yellow chairs all around. Hours open right now- Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9a-5p. They are stop #3 on the Frogtown Flea Crawl. New to me I've added a Photo with that info until I find out more. *Street Parking Only* Enter through the trail gate and turn left and walk until you reach the end of the warehouse. You'll find a gate entrance and sign for Tadda Coffee Happier Campier Cafe. Barista was very friendly and made our drink as soon as I finished ordering. The drinks were tasty and unique. This is an outdoor cafe where they make your drinks from a "Happier Camper". They have plenty room for you to choose an area to sit. There is also a small sandbox for kids. Very unique place to grab a refreshment on the trail or just relax. The music was perfect for the atmosphere they create. Tadda Cold Brew Latte- 9/10 They have their own vanilla hazelnut roast. The cold brew has great flavor without sweetener. If only the cold foam would last throughout the drink. Calamansi Iced Tea- 10/10 Great flavor and very refreshing. If you like a classic Arnold Palmer this is it with the a Filipino twist. This drink should be renamed to "Tito Boy's or Tito Arnold's Iced Tea". read more

Chill outdoor cafe right next to the LA River but it's not your typical cafe. It's a patio area outside of a cool camper trailer factory called Happier Camper and the cafe is a small trailer where they make their coffees and teas. Plenty of tables and chairs to relax with your friends, family, or fur babies. The people here are very friendly and make you feel right at home. They offer cool events for the community like yoga, sound bath and mommy programs. Had their signature vanilla, hazelnut cold brew and iced lychee tea which were refreshing and not too strong. The owner, Scott is a very interesting person to meet. He's passionate about giving back to the community, coffee and is also a free spirited dancer, artist and performer. Came to the park and stumbled across this cafe. Very cute place. Joshua tree type vibes. Great for babies that are crawlers and early walkers. Nice sand box with toys and a baby grand piano and cute kid size tables and picnic tables. We ordered the ube latte and Calamba so tea. Very healthy ingredients organic and all that jazz. Melvin helped us with the coffee and was friendly and welcoming. They also try to create community with free yoga on Sunday at 1030am and baby meet up Thursday morning around 10 am - 12 pm. Parking is easy with the park nearby and bathrooms are there too. read more

Stopped by for vegan pineapple soft serve during the frogtown flea crawl. So delicious, and refreshing with how hot it was out. I'm honestly still thinking about it. The baristas were friendly! We had to wait a bit as the ice cream machine fought for its life in the hot sun, but I'm sure they'll figure that out. Will be coming back just for the soft serve, but I'll need to try the coffee too! read more

Great, chill, outdoor coffee spot. Really glad it's in the neighborhood. Sit out on the patio, under the shade and watch the skatepark across the street. Talk about how you used to skate back in the day, but you're 40 now, it hurts a little more, and you just can't risk an injury as it affects that 9 to 5, but if you still ripped you would have shown those punk kids a thing or two...... Anyways, the cafe is down with dogs, and provides them with water and dog biscuits. The coffee is really good too! read more

Great coffee! Cute setup! Great staff! In the parking lot of Happier Camper, across from Chevy Chase Park. A beautiful addition to North Atwater. Open every day 7am - 5pm serving Cafecito Organico coffee and vegan (I think) donuts. It's also dog friendly with free doggy biscuits and a patio with picnic tables to hang and sip your lattes.
