We hired this performer for our child's birthday party. While the kids enjoyed some parts of the entertainment, the overall experience didn't live up to what was promised. The lady(Sunny) managing the event was very talkative and overly friendly beforehand -- lots of sugar-coating and big promises -- but when it came to the actual event, the delivery fell short. Several things we had discussed weren't properly executed, and the coordination felt unorganized. It was a complete disaster. One month back we confirmed for start time from 11:30am to 1:00pm over the phone. But one day before event she called and said event from 11am to 12:30pm. So paid for 90 minutes only and performed for 50 mins or so. Do not recommend them. Please do not go by rating. read more

Booking a performer with Happily Ever Laughter was seamless and easy from start to finish. Their staff is so kind, friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. They gave me great tips and were easy to talk to and book. The communication!! Oh my goodness was that just superb. I never had to wonder what was going on and I loved how they confirmed everything beforehand. We had Birdie the fairy as our performer. We were concerned that the weather would not hold (originally we were supposed to be outside but due to the weather had to pivot and host it inside). Birdie was the ultimate professional. She was not phased at all by the change and was absolutely wonderful. She was flexible even though the rain made it a bit challenging. She was able to wrangle about 20-25 children...mostly 4 year olds but some 3 year olds, 6 year olds and even a couple of older siblings 8 & 11! They were engaged and so thrilled. Birdie has such an incredible personality. She is kind and loving and the kids just adored her. All of the parents were amazed that she was able to capture their attention for so long and asked me for her information. Our daughter hoped she would be purple and pink and she was! We just celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday with Mystic and Morel. They arrived and instantly captivated the kids (close to 30 of them) for the entire hour and a half - it was nonstop entertainment. From the efficient glitter tattoo process that avoided any kid meltdowns, into a magic show that had them laughing and truly feeling the magic, to free play depending on what the kids wanted to do (freeze dance, duck duck goose etc.) it was perfect. After the party my daughter said "Mom, I really made magic!" I couldn't have asked for anything more. Major bonus - all of the adults were able to have a great time, too! Especially want to call out our performer Calla who was EXCELLENT with the kids in our party! She worked with me to plan the itinerary of the event, was communicative and punctual. When I was planning my son's first birthday party I spent months researching children's entertainment. I originally was going to get a petting zoo. But I soon found out that alot of them are either super expensive or not very professional and they have questionable practices with the way they treat their animals. She never broke character and knew how to keep the kids engaged. We'd definitely recommend her to anyone in our area. The process of booking an event is really easy and all automated. They even have a chat bot that makes the booking process fairly conversational. The only improvement I'd suggest are higher-quality balloons that don't pop that easily. Artemis did all the right things, with under-inflated balloons, filling them up slowly, and even warning the kids to keep the balloons away from common popping culprits (grass, sharp edges, etc). We had a December birth day for our 5 year old daughter. The scheduling process was great with very communication and also call for figuring out the activities in basic package and add ons. It is especially dicey with younger ones in this season and we were glad we got the $30 fees to reschedule . We ended up using it and Bob on phone was helpful to reschedule to next week. Dolly was our kids entertainer and she called 24 hours earlier to check on activities and venue. We also mentioned that it might rain and Dolly suggested having more indoor games. On the day of the event - Dolly came 15 mins earlier and was already dressed in colorful costume . She kept kids engaged with various games using parachute, tent and balls with the crowd being 4-5 year olds. The kids had a blast with her and all the kids were taking part. The party was indoor in big kids playroom but the activities were adjusted to the environment. Faerie London was absolutely perfect! There were 15 kids ages 2-7 and she facilitated everything with ease. The kids and parents all adored her. The magic show was awesome, the balloon twisting was a hit, and the freeze dance was super fun as well. It was raining and we had to be inside and I was worried about keeping all the kiddos under control but I didn't have to do a thing about it except tell Miss London where I needed the kids at what time or whatever. She was so amazing. My daughter (the birthday girl) was very happy with her party. Miss London showed all the kiddos attention and learned their names in a snap. When a little boy tried to touch her magic show set up she handled it very well. We were all impressed. 10/10 recommend. I feel like after reading some of the 1 star reviews I should also comment on the actual booking of the faerie. I personally called months in advance because I k ow how hard it can be to book things last minute (ie 1-2 weeks before the event). They followed up with me right away and were very clear on all policies. After the contract was all worked out they followed up again closer to the actual party and had the actual faerie call me and we smoothed out all details. The entire process was a piece of cake. After all of the amazing reviews, I was very excited to hire this company for my son's fifth birthday party. Unfortunately our experience was not as positive. To start, I had booked early and chose the backyard explorer character which aligned to the theme of the party. I didn't find out until the day before that they had switched it to another character without letting me know. It was a very disappointing that there wasn't communication about the change. I was bummed but chose a different character with high hopes that the entertainment would still be excellent and the kids wouldn't know the difference. Sadly the performance was lacking too. She started with a magic show but her first couple tricks didn't work. I felt for her since she was obviously struggling but she lost the kids attention pretty quickly because of this. We paid for a sing along too and expected a lively entertaining musical experience. Instead it was 1-2 basic songs like "itsy bitsy spider" and was pretty lackluster and short that most adults there didn't even know a sing along happened. The balloon animals were meh (a dog, a mouse, a sword) and the tattoos were fine. My husband who had no insight into what this was supposed to be said "it seems like she doesn't like doing her job," That was the vibe. Overall it was definitely not worth the $400 we paid for 1.5hrs. I won't be using this company again for my kiddos future parties.
