They deserve every penny! The owners of this place are professional and handled our cat so well. We brought our cat Sweetpea in after our vet recommended getting her shaved due to bad matting/hygiene. Sweetpea is usually horrible with baths and trims, but they were able to ease her stress and were so quick. I will definitely be bringing her back for a routine cleaning!
Beautiful, peaceful place! Eunice and Bruce were excellent with my cat, Pepper, who does NOT like to be held. She can be sweet and funny, but definitely doesn't let me clip the nails or brush her for very long. Right from first contact, Eunice or Bruce were immediately attentive, answering all my texted questions two days before the appointment. They were the only ones who would take her. They only asked to see if she had been vaccinated with the rabies shot. Eunice did the grooming while Bruce held Pepper gently but firmly. It's a big room so you can see everything and comfort your cat. The office had all these adorable feline themed decorations. I plan to be a regular! I highly recommend this beautiful business for your cats!
The Kims are gentle and wonderful and their business deserves your attention if you need your cats fur tuned up. Cats are (mostly) not going to like being groomed. We have two long haired cats that we adopted as kittens last year that we just could not keep up with the mats. Looking around for options to get them groomed, the Yelp reviews for Happy Cat Grooming looked like a place worth a look. So off I went with our boy first, Scout, who was the calmest of the two. The pile of fur that came off him was really remarkable, and he really didn't get that upset. He looked great afterwards. Next was Yvaine, who we call Miss Bossypants because she has a lot of attitude. She complained more, but also left behind a giant pile of fur and came home sleek and refined. Owners are asked to stay as it helps the cats with the stress of the grooming. However, the kindness shown to our cats when they were being handled was just the icing on the cake. If there were any cat complaints, they were addressed with soft words and a pet on the head. They handled our cats carefully yet still got the job done. I cannot say enough nice things. Having only your cats in when being groomed reduces the stress of other animals being around. And the shop is very comfortable for the cat owners waiting while their pets are being taken care of right in front of you. Prices are very fair.
Awe YELPERS, I would suggest getting a cat if you don't have one just so you can bring them Happy Cat Grooming! My Kitty loved Eunice and her husband. Kitty loved how every time she got "scaredy cat"Eunice would pat her gently on the tushie and sweetly hum kind gentle melodies to her. Kitty was surprised by how much fur came off during her de-shed! She said "it's gonna be nice not having to cough up hair-balls for a while". As Kitty's Momma I felt proud to be treating her to such a luxurious appointment with exceptionally kind human beings. This Business is a gem in the city of Cypress. I highly recommend Happy Cat Grooming. Also, I must mention the value is unbelievable especially considering all of their technologies and fancy supplies. Thank you Eunice and Husband, you two make a fabulous team!
The owners were wonderful and accommodating to my scared cat. It was his first bath at a groomer and Eunice was very gentle and sweet with him throughout the entire process. I appreciated that the business serves one client at a time to minimize stress for our cat babies. My cat seemed to love his clean fur once he got home!

We named him Sabre for his attitude. Just trying to brush him is nearly impossible. And, every morning, it's like walking through a minefield of white globs of fur. Last Summer, after cleaning up hairball vomit every morning, we decided he needed a cut. Sabre absolutely hated the process (which is a bit of an understatement), and we definitely had not given him enough calming pills beforehand. These groomers, however, were very patient. They did a great job! He looked so beautiful, and we could tell he was way more comfortable without the long hair weighing him down. I would definitely recommend this place.
So happy I found them on Yelp! They're really experienced and have shown that they love what they do. My fiancé and I took our 3.5 year old Turkish Van cat for his first professional grooming session. They asked us how he is on the "spice" level, if he's pretty spicy or a little spicy, just so they know what temperament he has. I told them he's sweet, doesn't bite or scratch, just skittish, shy, & very vocal. I communicated to them of the type of grooming I wanted for him and they were very attentive. They actually asked us to be near our cat since it'll help him feel safer to see our faces during the process, which I found quite sweet. We were amazed by their teamwork and the step-by-step process they've perfected for each cat they see. It was almost like watching choreography, very interesting to witness. Best part is seeing how nice and patient they were with our boy. They talked to him kindly by giving him lots of compliments and love as they were washing and drying him. They even told me I was able to pet his head while they were shaving his little grinch paws and clipping his nails, just make sure to ask first when it is appropriate during the session :) Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The shop is clean and well kept. It is owned and operated by a sweet couple who have a love for fur babies and specialize in grooming cats. They made us feel at home and most importantly, cleaned our boy while making sure everyone is safe. Also, they have a little section with Korean cat products like skincare, clothing, & accessories you can purchase for your kitty. We picked out a quilted vest for our cat to help keep the conditioning in post-groom. He looked like a cute, little ajussi (middle-aged man) lol. I realized later it was probably a bit tight, but luckily it fit his smaller sister who I will happily bring next when it's time for her grooming session :3 Thank you Happy Cat Grooming! First time grooming our first kitten and Mr and Mrs Kim did an amazing job. I was very impressed how caring and professional they both were. I used to have dogs and the service level at happy cat grooming was by far the best I've seen. They only do one appointment at a time so your cat gets their full attention. I like how they ask you to be there, which is great because you can see them work close up and know your cat is being treated well. Thank you Happy cat grooming. We are definitely a returning customer.
The most amazing grooming experience I could've imagined! They were all so gentle and loving with my little Lucy and provided her with such a good experience. She can be kind of fiesty and sassy and this was her first time being groomed so she was nervous, but they were patient and loving with her and I was so happy with the results! Lucy was clean and smelled and felt so good! Couldn't recommend them more!
Eunice and her husband did an amazing job on my cat. I was actually quite embarrassed because my cat had pooped and pee on the brushing table, but they assured me it was only because he was scared. This was my cat's first time at a groomer so he wasn't used to being held down for his brush down like that. I usually am the one who grooms/bath him at home, but find it difficult now that I moved and the shower is only a standing with no tub or tub facet. I was also shocked at how spicy my cat was; I felt really really bad for the owners because he kept peeing and they had to continuously wipe him and their area clean. He usually tolerates a lot, but I can understand that he was scared and possibly stress during this situation, and went into complete fight mode. Nonetheless, they knew how to handle my cat and allowed me to also be present to help assure him he was fine. They also only take one cat at a time and the grooming is an open space so it's very encourage for the cat parents to be present (in case they may need you to help calm your cat). Overall, they did absolutely amazing and I'm so happy with the results. I highly recommend them to cat parents!
I was very impressed and pleased with my experience at this salon, I've definitely found my go-to place. I felt very calm stepping into the salon, they had relaxing music in the background and spoke gentle and sweet praises to my cat. I came in today for the shave package and she did an excellent job of doing a very smooth shave. No nicks or injuries. My cat doesn't usually allow people to hold her in place and will meow a lot, but she stayed so still and barely made a peep....I was so shocked. The only time she whined was during the bath, but that was definitely a given. I think this duo is made of magic. Thank you for your care during our visit, we will definitely be back in the future!

LOOK NO FURTHER!! The crazy thing is I use to have another cat (Cado) many years ago and his groomer was the BEST! Well my last cat got really sick and I had to put him down unfortunately . I'm new to the area & today I went looking for a grooming place for my cat now (River) I walked in and it was them! The previous owners from the last location I took Cado too many years ago that are now at this new location . My ENTIRE YEAR has been made . They are so sweet and gentle and only handle one pet at a time . I've always stayed to watch the whole process and I can't be anymore grateful that a place like this exists for cats! read more

My boy Cheezit is a tough guy from the streets we took in about two years ago. He's got quite a thick fluffy coat and a bit of a dramatic flair and a hate for water, so I was extremely nervous to take him to a groomer for the first time. From the first moment he was unceremoniously plopped onto their table, the lovely couple handled him with synchronized expertise. It was quite something to see how well they handled him despite his spicy struggling and noises of protest. The cone slipped on as easily as butter and all his nails were cut within just a couple minutes. They flipped him around and maneuvered him with grace! So much fur came out and it seemed like he had an infinite amount! I was asked to come to his side to comfort him and Cheezit immediately calmed down and they were so gentle with him :) The water was prepped to the perfect temperature and blow dry temperature was checked before they tried it out on him, and when the sound startled him, they switched it. They were exceedingly detail oriented, professional, and capable. Cheezit is happily snoozing at home with his shiny, fragrant new coat as if he didn't mind it at all. read more

I'm a new cat mom, and this was my first time getting my kitten groomed. I came in with my roommates and their cats (we have a total of 3), and we were greeted by the nicest people. The owners were very nice and the space was very clean and well kept. It smelled really nice upon entering too! They work on one cat at a time, but kept our other kitties in the bathroom as to not startle the cat being groomed at a time. The owners were very gentle and very polite. We sat and watched the kitties get groomed the whole time :-) This isn't necessarily a place where you can drop off your pet and pick them up later since they work on one at a time, so it's best if you can find an hour or so to set aside and hang out in the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's in the market for a new cat groomer! read more

They were great with my kitty. He is new to grooming and being able to stay with him really put me and him at ease. They talked to him to calm him and worked quick but not recklessly. The owners are very gentle and detailed with the care. It's definitely based on the cat's personality so if you have a calm cat you'll get what you need. My cat went through her first shaving experience. She was definitely scared and conflicted but in the end she was calm and we were able to finish well. Eunice (the owner) is an experienced pet groomer but she does only cats and you can tell how professional she is. I truly respect any person who can give haircuts to cats. It was a wonderful first experience and I definitely trust her with my cat again whether is nail clipping, bath and other care as well Thank you so much! read more

Incredible experience. I am a first time mom, it's Theo's first shower ever and he is not a fan of water so it took me a little time to look for the right groomer. Initially what drew my attention was that Eunice allows pet owners to physically attend (which I don't find very common, but is a huge plus for a nervous mom). I then saw the reviews and that it's a family team, so I decided to book with Eunice. As a result...I did take over 20 photos and videos during the session and was able to stay with Theo during his first bath. Although I booked for a "bath", it came with deshedding, nail trimming, ear cleaning and sanitary trim. The place is bright and clean, and there are all sorts of different adjustable tools for grooming - for Theo, they used at least 3 different blow dryer heads. Before blow drying, they put 2 layers of "hats" to cover his ears and block the noises; they also have multiple cones for the whole grooming session. They also talked to Theo like talking to babies. Knowing about Eunice and her husband is a big relief because they are professional, skillful and patient. In their hands Theo stayed so calm I doubted for a sec if that's really my cat! I've never seen anyone so gentle and I can't imagine bringing Theo elsewhere, I hope more people can know about this place and bring all their cats here! So worth the two-hour drive, thank you so much. read more

These guys do such a great job with my cats! I have taken my ragdoll cats here twice now, and both times they do such an amazing job! They even gave my cat Maisie her very first bath, which she was not a fan of, but they handled her so well and just stayed calm through the whole ordeal. And my Maisie came out looking so beautiful afterwards and her underarm matting was all gone! They will definitely be my permanent cat groomers. And with three hairy ragdolls, I will definitely be back soon! read more

This is my Benji's 2nd time getting groomed. First time with Happy Cat Grooming. They did such an incredible job handling him! He's a very shy cat who can be very vocal when uncomfortable and he barely made a peep. The way the handled him with such care was definitely shown in Benjis body language. Took my boy Thor to Happy Cat for his first grooming in the summer last year and we had a great overall experience. It was really hot that time of year and being a long-haired cat, he was getting really uncomfortable so I knew it was time for a cut. He hates water (as most cats do), but they were so gentle with the haircut and bath. We went with the lion cut and he looked so cute and funny afterwards. Eunice and her husband were so sweet and they treated my boy with so much care despite him wiggling and crying. He has passed since then, but I'm glad he was able to experience his first haircut with Happy Cat. I have been to Eunice's past location with my partner's cats and am glad they have a cat-only business now. The place is by appointment only and was very clean & calming. Eunice & her husband were very nice and gentle :) I will definitely be coming back!! I loved that we were able to watch the entire process! It took about 50 minutes. Other groomers that I've taken Botitas to have us leave her with them at 8am and not pick her up until 2pm or later :( So I was relieved that we were able to be there the entire time, she was also the only animal there which also is great!! I was not expecting THIS much fur it looks like you can make a whole new cat hahaha Her fur is so shiny & soft now We also bought her some treats they have for sale there and she loved those too read more

Five stars isn't a high enough rating to describe this place! We have to take our shy girl here every 12 weeks and they treat her with so much care and kindness. Not to mention how skilled they are at giving her the perfect cut. The "one cat at a time" policy, cleanliness and calming music is what keeps us coming back. Truly a hidden gem! They were super nice and since the service is about an hour, they ask you to stay while they groom. I ended up petting my cat's head the whole time so he would stay calm and they were super sweet about it. They even gave me a cat treat to feed him while they shaved him down. The approach was very peaceful and had a big emphasis on keeping my cat as calm as possible so it wasn't traumatic for him which i really appreciated. They were able to give him a full lion cut and I even got a cute little shirt for him as well. The price was very reasonable for an almost full shave down of a very hairy cat. They took the time to really focus on the details too, like rounding his paws and double checking that his mane was lined up and even all around. No spots were overlooked. 10/10 recommend. read more

VERY EXCITED TO HAVE A CAT GROOMER HERE IN CYPRESS! They are very hard to come by these days, especially for cats only I believe it is by appointment only, but scheduling was easy and I was able to get one the very next day for both of my cats. It was super straightforward with a nice open layout. As soon as you walk in you can see their whole set up, designed to care for 1-2 cats at a time. I really liked this because it created a calm environment and I could observe what they are doing without feeling intrusive. I was actually able to caress their faces & comfort my babes while Eunice and Bruce did their thing. It was a really great experience and I love the results! So happy to have found this place. My former street cat does not do well with grooming and the owners, a super sweet couple know exactly how to tame the beast that is my cat. He has long hair and sometimes develops matting under his belly since that is his no no area and they were and always are so gentle with him. You can tell they really love cats and they are great at what they do. Highly recommend to anyone with a cat who isn't the easiest groom candidate. read more

Always a pleasure to bring my kitty to Eunice and her son. They are gentle and loving and Eunice talks and soothes my ragdoll. She has super thick hair, one of those ragdolls with double or triple coat. I have terrible allergies too so I have to clip her down. We hadn't gone in a year and finally came in today. Eunice always grooms my cat in front of the store, full transparency. You can tell she loves cats so much. She was out of commission for awhile and I refused to take my Lili anywhere else. We are so glad she is back. Her son told us she attended academy to further her knowledge and understanding on cats and grooming in Korea recently. They are serious about cat beauty there. As we were leaving, I chatted with the lady after us. She says the last mobile groomer must have abused her cat while grooming cuz she came back traumatized and mean. She says she wants to observe Eunice grooming and I told her it's totally transparent and she had nothing to worry about with Eunice and her son. And the pricing here, always always tooo reasonable. Heartwarming Reunion at "Happy Cat Grooming"! Today was an extra special day for Rylee, our lovable little dog, as she accompanied her cat sister, Persia, to "Happy Cat Grooming." As they both entered the salon, Rylee's eyes widened with joy upon seeing her first and old groomer, Eunice, who no longer grooms dogs. The pure excitement in Rylee's eyes was simply priceless! While Rylee didn't get groomed today, she eagerly watched from the cozy couch as Eunice worked her magic on Persia. Rylee's tail wagged with happiness as she witnessed the care and skill Eunice put into making Persia look fabulous. As Persia settled into the grooming station, Rylee sat on the comfortable couch, watching from afar in the private grooming environment.
