Nightmare. Ordered the food an hour in advance and it took an extra 15 minutes for them to make it. There was only one person in the restaurant so it's not like they were busy. Never had a bad meal here. Always friendly service, quick and efficient. I really enjoy the chicken and broccoli and garlic shrimp.

We ordered at 10 minutes to 9pm on Saturday night. Everywhere we looked said they were open until 9:30pm, but they have since changed their operating hours. They also don't offer delivery despite what their website says. We ordered a good amount of food and were told to please come right over because they were closing. Had I known they were about to close we would have ordered elsewhere. Perhaps the timing is to blame. The spicy orange chicken tasted like it was actually on fire. I am no stranger to spice and quite enjoy spicy food, but this was over the top and inedible. We ended up throwing it away after one piece cleared out my sinuses and practically blew out my palate. Fortunately it was one of the last things I tasted. The Mongolian beef was ok, the first few bites tasted better than the last. The crab rangoon were horrendous. They were all practically empty and even the minuscule amount of filing inside was so dry and tasteless. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, but I saw a similar review of the item and they looked identical and the complaint was the same. The chicken wings were crispy, but had zero flavor. We both really enjoyed the house special fried rice. That is about the only thing we actually enjoyed from our meal. The egg rolls were tiny and didn't have the pork flavor we were searching for. The lo mein was decent, but was covered in grease and sitting in a very large pool of grease in the container which was off putting, to say the least. No one was expecting healthy lo mein, but the amount of oil was excessive, even by American Chinese takeout standards. I think we will keep searching for Chinese food after this experience. read more

Heads-up! Still Take Out only. Do not call in your order using their online menu. It is not correct and the prices are misleading. They are much higher now but they do not tell you that until you pick up your order and run your card. She said "new owners and we cannot change the website right now..." Use DoorDash or go by and place your order in person. Expect a 45 minute wait. Food is still good but they have some work to do on website, customer service and being more transparent. 5 people waiting for orders that they had called in while I was there and all had issues with their bills being much higher than advertised on their site. With COVID-19 measures in place, I've been cooking and eating-in for weeks. "I am super craving Chinese food," I said to my husband. We called my usual takeout place. No answer. Second favorite place. Closed. Third, no go. And finally remembered Happy China. Yay! They're open! And they provide curbside service! Now while the meal didn't warrant four stars -- really three and change -- it hit the spot, and was pretty good. Hot and sour soup was flavorful, though I prefer a thicker base. Wonton soup, okay. Wontons a bit doughy. Chicken with vegetables, prepared as requested: medium spicy. And orange beef, better than some local restaurants. Give them a go. A decent neighborhood joint! read more

Very VERY disappointing. The prices and portion sizes at the restaurant are different than on their website. When I mentioned the difference, she said the prices on the website are 5 years old, although they updated their new address without a problem. There's no reason for the prices not to be current. I got egg rolls, crab rangoon and orange chicken. The only thing not going in the garbage is the crab rangoon. Even the fortune cookies are stale! Would not recommend . Food was awful . Worst Chinese food we have ever had. Veggie egg rolls We're thick and powdery . The fried rice was just rice cooked in oil, nothing else... I almost want to say I've experienced better Chinese food, but honestly don't think I have. We've had this probably three times or so, thinking perhaps they were just having a bad night. Since they took MSG out, everything doesn't taste very good. With their Covid-19 measures in place, they are currently pick-up or delivery only. I hate their egg rolls, they taste stale, every time, not an isolated occurrence. The curry chicken and general tso's are tasty without the fried rice, which might be more bland that the white rice, if that is even possible. The crab rangoon suffers the same stale existence that the egg rolls do. The pan fried dumpling are pretty good. Can't say I'd give them another shot. The food here was good. I got the sesame chicken and it wasn't what I was expecting. The breading was very thin and the chicken pieces were cut up really small. It tasted good but again not as expected for my idea if traditional sesame chicken. read more

Amazing! This was our first time eating from Happy China or using grub hub. Our food was delivered early (20 minutes!), the driver was really nice, the food was hot, and the taste was perfect. The food horrible and crazy expensive for Chinese delivery. We ordered general tsao chicken with "fried rice. The quotation is because the rice was seasoned rice and there was nothing fried about it. The general tsao chicken was soggy. My wife and I were not expecting much but one general tsao chicken, one order of fried wonton, one order of dumplings was $38 dollars.
