We ordered pan fried chicken dumplings, pork fried bao, and braised beef noodle soup. Our server made these suggestions and it did not disappoint. Very well layed out menu, I was there during lunch service and they have a good number of lunch items and combinations, I had the General Tao's chicken, fried rice ($1.00) up charge for this over steamed white rice and hot n sour soup, there are choices of soups also. Service was exceptional, the soup came to my table in just a couple minutes and the entree and rice was brought out in less than 5 minutes. Everything was perfect, I would like a little more heat (spicy) on my chicken but that's just me. I'm sure I could have ask during the ordering process. Now that I have eaten here a few times I had to make an update. Let me tell you I gained 10 pounds because I have been OBSESSED with the chicken pan fried boa buns. Oh my God they're so savory so good. It's a little greasy, but honestly, so worth it. I have probably got this delivered to me five times in one week. I normally get this delivered to me rather than eating in the restaurant, but I've eaten there twice and the staff is really friendly and the food comes out at a decent time. The owner is actually from China and she is just the sweetest, you will definitely get the most authentic Chinese food here. Especially from the Canton cuisine. They hand make all the dumplings here, and my favorite one has to be the chicken dumplings and the chicken boa buns. The Sweet n Savory sauce that comes with it really compliments it. I don't think I could eat it without their sauce! While I don't like their chicken entrées like the chicken general tsao and the chicken sesame. Since they are a truly Chinese restaurant, I don't think they're special specialty is American Chinese food definitely go for the authentic Chinese food. I loved the braised beef noodles!! it has so much flavor and it really warmed my heart. Aside from staying away from the American Chinese dishes, the only other complaint I have is maybe the chili oil isn't the spiciest. If you read my past reviews, I really like spicy so this is nothing on them. I give them a four out of five because I don't like their American Chinese dishes like the chicken dishes however everything else is truly authentic and delicious! We were looking for another Chinese restaurant that might be cheaper than Canton cooks but as good This one is about the same price & the food isn't quite as good. They have a decent selection and we liked some of the items but I wouldn't choose the same ones again We had: Sesame chicken with fried rice: sesame chicken was a big portion & good chicken to bread ratio. Sauce had a good consistency as well. This dish would be worth trying again and comes with rice. Fried rice was ok, nothing notable either way Soup dumplings: we got pork and they had plenty of filling & soup but they cooked them with them all touching so when you eat them they break and your soup is gone. Enormous disappointment. Would not order these again because why would they serve them like that? Crab rangoons: super crispy but a little too cooked on some & there maybe a dime of filling per each one, but the filling did taste great. A solid Asian restaurant that celebrates Szechuan style cooking. I enjoyed all the items on the table! I went with two dear friends who are regulars and have tried most of the menu items. They both said they haven't ever had a bad item. We started with the chili wonton, hot and sour soup and the dan dan noodles. Great choices. For my entree, I had the hunan chicken and it was tasty but there were far more sautéed vegetables than chicken on the plate. The ratio was glaringly anti protein. This is a little Chinese place in a strip mall. The food was fantastic. We got the Mongolian beef crispy beef, two various soups, general tso chicken and three beers.... Fantastic service and the quality of food was even better. William, the manager was extremely helpful and explaining what each of the dishes was what was in it. He was extremely helpful. We came in for late lunch and the dining room is delightful and open. There are five 4-person booths, two 8-person, a 6 person and another small table. Our server was friendly and patient as we perused the menu. The presentation of the menu items was beautiful! The hot and sour soup was delicious, the veggie spring rolls were fresh and chocked full of cabbage and carrots, etc. The orange chicken was really good with broccoli and orange zest. We got it mild. I think next time I would get it with a little bit more spice. Seriously what a beautiful presentation! The cream cheese rangoon's were perfect! Generously filled with cream cheese and equally as pretty. The lo mein was the best I've had in decades. Sooo good! In lieu of fortune cookies, they gave out lychee candies. That's a nice touch. Came with my wife on New Years Eve and this place was really good. We only got small bites cause we wanted to try a few things. Crab Rangoon were good, I don't usually like them when I get Chinese food but it's my wife's favorite thing. And these were the best version I've had since moving here to north Georgia. Filling was a perfect mix of crab, cream cheese, and scallions. The sweet and sour sauce was also really good with them. The soup dumplings are going to be something we get the next time we come in because they are really solid and the vinegar mix they give you is a perfect complement for it. Last thing we got were the dandan noodles and they were awesome. I highly recommend them if you like a lil spice but nothing insane. Service was good, the people who run this are really nice and it was a simple process of ordering and paying. Place is really clean and very orderly and makes it easy to come in, sit down, and enjoy a meal and not worry about there being too much going on. My husband and I went here for lunch and were blown away by how friendly and attentive the staff were. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated and had plenty of seating. We each ordered a Thai tea which was phenomenal. For an appetizer we got the steamed pork buns. Do yourself a favor and order them. They were cooked to perfection and the tasted amazing! We then each ordered a lunch portion meal which comes with a soup, we each got the hot & sour soup (again phenomenal). My husband ordered the orange chicken and I ordered the General Tso chicken. Each cooked perfectly, flavor was authentic and clean tasting. My husband got a side of fried rice and loved every bite. I had the steamed rice and it was cooked to perfection. Starting this off, I will certainly try this place again. It almost felt like a soft opening. The waitress came over asking us what we wanted before we received a menu. We asked for some hot sauce that was promised but never arrived. The lunch menu had Mongolian pork but the regular menu only had chicken, beef and shrimp. The waitress told us pork was not available. The chef did make the pork dish, good move!!! The iced tea had the strangest taste. It was not drinkable. I sent the tea back after one sip, my wife kept hers but did NOT drink it. The Malaysian iced coffee was good. Hot and sour soup was flavorful and delicious. The scallion pancakes were good but not as flavorful as some others. The soup dumplings had a generous amount of pork but again not very flavorful. The Mongolian pork dish was good, it was missing flavor and spice/heat. We were offered melon that I assumed was to cleanse the palate. A knife was not provided to cut it from the rind. Very small issues but they add up to more training and thought. Came in with a friend yesterday (Thursday July 18th around noon). The place was not crowded and we were seated quickly. We ordered a couple of Arnold Palmer's to drink while we looked at the menu; the waiter didn't know what they were but once explained he kind of figured it out, his English was not very good (not a problem just an observation). When he brought the drinks it was basically half sweet/half unsweetened tea with a wedge of lemon so not what we wanted but we adapted. We wanted to order appetizers but neither of us was familiar with most of their appetizers so we didn't order any. If they had more pics of the appetizers on the menu it might have helped us pick one. So we went straight to the entrees. My friend got the Mongolian beef, which was simply broccoli and beef with a couple of carrots, funny because they also have broccoli and beef on the menu. Makes no sense. We both always share our dishes and we both agreed the beef was very tough with lots of gristle. Not seasoned at all either. The broccoli was fresh which is good but the dish itself was very underwhelming. The steamed rice was perfect. For my entree I ordered the king pao chicken, and this is going to be difficult to review. First of all the flavor is incredibly balanced and tasted excellent, and all of the ingredients were perfect as far as flavor and portions, except for 2 things: not enough peanuts and way too many hot peppers. The peanuts can be easily fixed by adding more, the problem with the peppers is not as easily solved according to the female owner or manager who I spoke to about it. She said it's a spice dish to which I replied yes I know, kung pao is one of my favorite dishes. She said they put those many peppers in because people like them. Well I also like them but not in EVERY SINGLE BITE! They're pretty hot peppers and I being someone who loves spicy Chinese and Thai food, it was too much for me. The easiest way to solve this is to not cut the peppers so little so that customers can easily see them and move them away if they want so many, OR the wait staff can ask how spicy someone wants it. This is not difficult to fix but if the owners don't fix it they'll lose customers like us. So again, the flavor of the kung pao was great and except for too many peppers it would easily be the best kung pao chicken in the area by far. I've done hundreds of reviews across the county on Chinese food and if they could fix this I would drive the many miles to get here just to order it. With your lunch entree you get a choice of egg drop soup or hot and spicy soup. We both got the egg drop; it was good, not your typical flavoring and style and it also has corn in it but again it was good. One nice surprise were the vegetable spring rolls, they were delicious, didn't even need sauce for them. I could eat about 10 of those as a meal and be ok. At the finish of our lunch we ordered some hot oolong tea to settle the food and it was good, kind of bland but it hit the spot. As far as the restaurant itself there are a couple bench tables, one table for a large group and 4 or 5 booths for 4 or less people. The location is excellent right off Hwy 92 and there is plenty of parking. The area is busy but easily navigable and the restaurant is in a plaza in front of Sam's club so if you need to do some shopping it's convenient. I realize this business is new and may take awhile to get on its feet, and they are apparently still hiring so I don't want to take away too many stars from a fledgling business, so as an active reviewer with many reviews I'd like to offer the owner some unsolicited advice. 1. Get a new menu with photos or have some way for folks to visualize what they are ordering 2. Ask your customers about their spice levels and amount of peppers they want (in my case with the kung pao) 3. Hire staff with knowledge of your customer base 4. Fix the beef problem! Tough and stringy is not good. Also add more flavor to the Mongolian beef, maybe a thicker sauce? I would normally give this experience a 2 star at best but since they're still on a learning curve I will give 4 stars and give them one more chance sometime in the near future. read more

It was our first time trying this restaurant so we got a little of everything we like to try. The dumplings were tasty and the spring rolls were flavorful and crispy outside. The sesame chicken was nicely cooked. The combination lo mein was my favorite. We got three to four meals out of the entrees so the cost seemed worth it. The sticky rice was good, too! The service was great, food was amazing. We went at the beginning of the week and by then end of the week we came back with friends. First day we got soup dumplings and spicy dry pot which had that amazing Szechuan tingling sensation with great flavor. The next time we went for the lunch menu and we got orange chicken lunch which we got hot and sour soup with, so much flavor in both! oh and of course we were hooked on the soup dumpling so we had to get them again. Came in today on a whim to try this spot out and it was good! I ordered to go since I had never been before and was with my little ones in tow, ordered the pork soup dumplings, kung pao chicken and chicken and broccoli for the kids. Service was fantastic! Food came out quick waited no more then 10 mins, cute place would only say music was a little bit too loud for the entire spot not a big deal since we ordered to go. Soup dumplings were good did have a pink slimly stuff come out from the pork. Wish it had veggies or something more then just straight pork either way we devoured them quickly! Kung pao chicken was tasty but very very oily. I attached a photo to show what I'm talking about. Just tipped it over and poured into a little plastic ramekin cup to take some oil out. Did quality Chinese finally arrive in Woodstock? Based on first experience: yes! I don't leave many reviews, but was so pleasantly surprised to find flavorful Chinese delivered (via Door Dash) - I felt compelled to share. First off, have driven by Wok Provisions many times but it didn't hit my radar (my subconscious filed away as Asian cooking supply store). So glad it did. Wonton soup is the initial litmus test of primary importance in assessing a new Chinese eatery for me. If your wonton soup is bland with a couple sad disintegrating flat noodles masquerading as dumplings...then most/all other dishes will lack inspiration too. Wok Provisions wonton soup broth had flavor, multiple pork dumplings, and even some green onions. Would have loved to see some bok choy and/or small slices of roasted pork too - but grading on a curve in the Asian Cuisine Culinary Desert of Cherokee County. Wok Provisions easily takes the Win! Chicken fried rice: what smells so good?! It tasted even better. Szechuan Chili Dumplings? Yes, please. Terrific sauce. Not really spicy though sure they can kick it up a notch if you ask. Cilantro on top. Terrific. Not pictured are the vegetable spring rolls. These were too tasty and were long gone before had chance to take picture of food. Overall: loved it. Small place located in a plaza on 92 in the Sam's parking lot. They are some tables to eat at where you will be taken care of. Good looking place and very clean. Heard from my daughter that they have the best soup dumplings. So of course I did not order them since I saw some other dishes come out and didn't want to over order. Was told they make their own dumplings which I love. Will be going back this weekend for some. The Hunan Chicken that I received had to be some of the best Asian food in many years. The portion was big enough for two possibly 3 people. And no plastic to go containers traditional Chinese boxes the way it was meant to be done. Everywhere I have lived have always just found a place that was acceptable, no I have found a place that is exceptional! We were immediately greeted and seated on this Sunday at 11:00. The small interior is modern with upscale decor and a combination of booths, half-booths, and tables (no outdoor seating). We placed our drink orders, and despite the menu stating to the contrary, they do not have fountain drinks (yet) and only sell by the can/bottle. We tried the pork egg roll and scallion pancakes as appetizer and both were good. The egg roll was served with a bit of cherry sauce for dipping. The pancake was thin and crispy and the scallions evident both in the flavor and visible. For her entree, my wife had the chicken and mushroom noodle soup and it was served piping hot in a large ceramic bowl. It was a huge portion with beautiful mushroom slices and fresh bok choy. Plenty of chicken in the dish. I got the spicy orange chicken, it was so good that everyone wanted to try it and put the extra sauce on their dishes. My mother in law for shrimp fried rice and it looked amazing! The shrimp were huge, cooked perfect, and juicy. The soup dumplings tasted like regular chicken ginger dumplings and not a ton of broth, but I'd definitely order again. Come by!
