First of all, my mom used to take two of our dogs here regularly. she did a good job w their hair but we noticed our dogs behavior when we would take them. they would hide in our car and shake a lot. We thought it was just because they didnt wanna go or had anxiety. looking back on it now they were terrified. I regret taking my dogs here. Gizmo, my first dog has passed away because of Heather. Gizmo can be difficult to work with his paws and ears but he was still a lovely dog. We took our dogs to their appointment not knowing it would change our lives. When we picked him up we noticed something strange about Gizmo. He seemed distant and in pain. It got worse the next few days. His stomach started growing and he wouldnt get off the bed or jump anymore or even greet us anymore. At night he would scratch us to get our attention and moan in pain. he was in pain and we didnt know what to do. My mom confronted heather and she just lied to us saying it wasnt her fault and nothing happened. This was in 2024. The reason why im writing a review now because i thought maybe it wasnt heather. But i work at a vet clinic now and i was talking to my co workers about what happened. One of my co workers used to work with heather, She said she was very rude and impatient. She would HIT the dogs!!! ATTENTION SHE WOULD HIT THE DOGS. She definitely hit or kicked my Gizmo and it caused trauma to his stomach. Honestly she probably hit every of her clients. I asked the vet about Gizmo and she said she definitely caused trauma to Gizmo. I will show you some pictures. Read the caption in the pictures. How did he pass? He was too much in pain, didnt eat as much anymore, couldnt rest without being in pain so we made a very difficult decision to put him down. He was only 7 years old and our family's first dog. March 2017-September 2024 and we miss him terribly. Only if we didnt take him to heather who is a liar and abusive to her clients! My co worker who worked with her saw it. Originally asking me if it was ok if it was a few hours as she had other dogs coming in this morning, obviously I completely understood as I'm just a walk in and I told her to take her time. About an hour later I get a call saying lucy is almost done. She stated Lucy wasn't a fan of the crate and she wanted to make sure Lucy wasn't stressed. In addition when I got there Lucy wasn't in a crate she was in the back room happy as can be. I was then informed that in the future I could book an express wash, meaning they pay full attention to your dog from start to finish. (They do this for dogs like Lucy that get stressed or don't like crates) It is a slight upcharge, however more than worth it to me! The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of work they do and the kindness you and your pets receive! All my questions were answered, concerns were addressed and most of all Lucy came out full of energy and looking her absolute best! I can't say enough good things! Upon picking our dog up, they were told by Coleen that she will no longer be accepting/providing service for our dog because, "she is not cooperating". She made the claim that our dog would keep pulling her paws away. This was the first time a complaint like this was made about our dog. Likewise, upon coming home, I noticed these razor burns on our dog's stomach. The times we've taken our dogs to the groomers, this has also not been an issue, and when I myself have shaved her stomach, this has not been an issue. No wonder our dog was eager to leave the establishment. We are definitely less than satisfied with the work.

I called RtF and spoke with Sierra who was very friendly and informative on the phone on their varying prices on grooming. She also told me you can communicate via text messages and also to send paperwork (rabies vaccine proof) which was very convenient. When I arrived I thought their store setup was unique. You walk in and you can see the dogs being groomed right in front of you. I explained to Sierra my concerns regarding my dog's skin allergies and previous knee surgery. Sierra was very attentive and thanked me for giving that information and they would take good care of my dog. They also said it was ok for them to use our dog's prescription shampoo from the Vet. I left and after a few hours I received a phone call saying that my dog was ready for pickup. When I arrived Sierra explained how the grooming went and that my dog did well. I was very satisfied with how my dog looked and smelled and payment was easy via credit card. I will definitely bring our dog back for future grooming sessions.
