Make sure when you go there they don't pull out of their aprons the tool to cut your toenails. It's NOT sanitary they did it to me and they cut my foot with their "cheese cutter" taking off my callous. I will never go back there. I want people who care to do my pedicures. I will not go back. I explained to the technician what I wanted, with him nodding his head and saying yes. Only to realize that he couldn't understand a word I was saying. He did what he wanted. We called ahead and booked appointment, were told to pick out a color waited maybe 4mins and they took us to our chairs to ready us for our pedicures. My mother in law and I chatted the whole time with each other so they didn't do much chatting themselves but making sure everything they were doing was ok. Tried this salon because the place I normally go to was closed for the day. I was very disappointed. The pedicure lasted maybe 20 minutes. The tech seemed rushed which didn't make me feel too relaxed or valued as a client. Massage was a minute each leg at most. My fiance & I just had a pedicures today. VERY unprofessional. One of the employees was sitting in a chair at the end of the pedicure area with his dirty shoes on sleeping. The gal that did my fiance feet pressured him into the Deluxe service ($45.00) which was the same service as me. The gal that did mine was showing me the skin she scraped off my feet. I get my feet done every 4-6 weeks. When the gal finished with my fiance she left to do another client that came in so my fiance went over and tipped her. The gal that was working on my feet finished up so I tipped her, then she moved on to another client. My fiance's gal came back and wanted me to pay and abruptly yelled you pay now. I said that my fiance was paying today, so she turned to him and yelled give me your card or money. Then my fiance handed her his card. She said how much on the card he said $90.00. She yelled "90 what about tip!" I said we already tipped you. She then yelled "Well, what about her!? She did your feet." I then yelled back "WE ALREADY TIPPED HER AS WELL! Just wanted to update and say, not once did the spa reach out to correct this or offer to fix it the right way.i left on vacation before i could get it fixed correctly (which i shouldn't have to take my own time and money that should have been spent doing it right in the first place, but instead they lazily cut corners.) I have now got a huge crack in the same place where the lady didn't fix it correctly, and it is painful still as the crack runs directly down to my nail bed. White tip acrylic nails. First - the tech attempted to do clear tips and paint my French manicure on, despite my very clear request for white tips. They also charged more than what was on the website- and the prices seem to change every time I go here. The tips of my nails are not attached to my real nail, which is how nail fungus starts. So the set that I over paid for has to be removed unless I want to risk getting fungus. I also tried to get a pedicure. That tech ripped skin from the sides of my toes and cut my nails extremely short. She asked if I was ok with the length after she cut all my toes. Then she was talking about spraying my feet to prevent infection? While using products that didn't appear sanitized. Went to somewhere outside my normal place and quite a bit of a commute because my mother in law got me a gift card. I had to move my appointment around & the lady wasn't very nice on the phone about it. Felt like it was an inconvenience. Came in for my appointment and just stood there waiting to check in while a lady was giving me a dirty look who was either the manager or a nail tech and the receptionist was just sitting there no one in front of me. Pedicure was painful and I had to keep pulling my feet away as the lady kept stabbing & ripping into my big toes, have chunks where she kept ripping at my skin. Most painful pedicure I've encountered. Water was ice cold, she walked away after starting the water wasn't able to ask her to adjust it nor did she ask. $20 extra on a pedicure to do gel nails is outrageous especially when they did not turn out great!! Customer service even from the nail tech was just extremely poor. Will not be trying this place again, happy that it was almost technically free. I will stick to what I know. Need better staff who actually make you feel comfortable and welcome in your salon! I had a really great experience with Thuy who did my deluxe pedicure. She took her time and I felt totally relaxed afterwards. The reason for 3 stars is the issue I ran into with my gift certificate. I was gifted a certificate 2 years ago from the Scottsdale location because I used to work over there. Since then, I've moved an hour away to Mesa. Considering the businesses had the same name, I figured my gift certificate would be valid at the Mesa location. I felt even more validated when I called and they told me it was not a problem. After my pedicure, when I tried to use it, they told me they can't take it because they're not affiliated at all with the Scottsdale location since it's a completely different owner. It was shocking and disappointing that a company can share the same name but not be affiliated with each other at some level.
