Buyer beware! I was in there for the "VIP" pedicure on Tuesday May 19th by Sunday May 24th the nail polish from 4 toes had completely peeled off completely! I spent a total of $85 for this horrible pedicure ($70 for VIP + $15 for gel ). The fact that the polish peeled off completely is a sign that their polish is old. I called the salon and asked to speak with a manager. I was told that the manager wasn't there but the female on the phone could help as she was the "acting" manager at the time. She told me that, per their policy, they don't do refunds, they only do "re-do's". Well, that may be fine for some people but 1) I don't live in the area and I needed to get to the airport to fly home to MA. so I didn't have the time to go back and 2) If your product wasn't of good quality the first time, why would I want to waste my time and gas again? I was also told that their policy is clearly posted on the check out counter. That tells me that this sort of thing happens a lot if they felt the need to implement such a policy and "clearly" post it. I requested a call back but did not receive one. I sent an email, waited 2 days for a response and have not received one. I'm shocked this business is still in business! Please do not waste your time, energy and money on these grifters. There are so many other nail salons that won't rip you off then hide behind a ridiculous policy. I will also be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau, amongst other sites as an informative warning to others. I've been intimidated by getting my nails done since it's been a while, but I decided to get back into nail care and try this salon as it's near to where I live. I truly wish I could say I was satisfied. The staff spoke kindly and was outgoing toward me when I went in for my booking (which apparently didn't even register properly?), and the nail spa itself seemed clean and tidy. But the nail service itself was poor and I left the salon feeling frowzy and in pain. It was not confirmed with me very clearly what services I wanted done either; I was asked for what pedicure I wanted but wasn't even asked what kind of manicure service I wanted. The pedicure was alright but even then I felt service was rough and rushed. But service was still smooth and it went fine so I did proceed with a manicure as well. But unfortunately, three of my fingers bled due to the cutting of the eponychium. It was commented on that my skin was just very thin, but even if it was true, I would have to argue that this is incorrect because my nails were simple being handled very roughly. The cuticle care was also very rushed and rough and I ended up with a shoddy looking paint job. I had to have those fingers bandaged for the next few days and one finger in particular really hurt that I couldn't do the activities I normally did or I had to change how I did even simple things like washing my hair because it hurt. It suffices to say, I will not be coming back and I hope anyone else considering this salon has a better experience or that they too can find a better nail tech or salon read more

When I had visited 3 months ago, I needed a gel-x removal. I fully believe the gel removal process ruined the quality of my natural nails. The nail tech used her own fingernails to rip my gel-x nails off. I've been looking at my nails, and they are no longer smooth but dented in. Buyer beware! Worst pedicure of my life. My step mom and I chose this nail salon to meet on Sunday morning for pedicures. I showed up to the salon 45 minutes prior to my stepmother meeting me there in an effort to try to get them to remove the builder gel that I had gotten last time on my hands. They said that that would be fine and then 15 minutes later told me that they wouldn't have time to remove the builder gel before my stepmom got there. No big deal, I can come back another day. Then when my step mom arrived and they sat us in the chairs, a nail tech who couldn't speak English turned the water on, and it was immediately spraying me in the face and got me soaking wet from head to toe. My clothes were completely drenched. I had to cover the spout with my own toes because she didn't know how to turn the water off and was just standing there staring, not trying to do anything about it. I then got out of the chair because she still hadn't turned the water off and I was soaking wet and I was asking for a towel and she didn't understand what I was saying. She just kept calling for someone to come over. No one offered me a towel for several minutes after this happened. I had to specifically continue to ask for a towel. They brought me a small hand towel to dry off my entire body and my clothes that were all wet. Then ended up moving us to a different chair, but at first didn't even offer to have my stepmom sit with me. We had to request that. Obviously, since we came in together, we were hoping to sit next to each other for our services. Then they turned the water on and it's freezing cold and we have to ask several times for them to turn it to warm, which they didn't seem to understand how to do. Then the water was basically overflowing, which I wouldn't have even cared, except for my leather shoes were sitting on the ground, which had already gotten wet from the first time they turned the water on. I had to tell them hey I think the water is gonna overflow cause it was less than an inch from the top. This was followed up by one of the most lackluster painting jobs I've ever seen in my life. I had to ask her three different times to repaint my toes because they were all messed up and they still weren't good. I just didn't have time to continue to try to let her fix it. When we go to pay, they didn't offer any discount for getting me soaking wet and I told them that this was by far one of the worst pedicure service I've ever received they end up giving me $12 off which was 10% off both services. We were there for 2 1/2 hours and both of our pedicures look like they were done by a 10-year-old. Needless to say we did not tip and we will not be back. read more

Went to this nail salon a few days ago. I had a few nails with left over acrylics. The lady doing my nails used nail tips to rip them off which resulted in one of my natural nails splitting in half and bled a decent amount. She then tried cleaning the wound with a dirty towel. While filing my nails she used a dirty/used nail file then proceeded to use a used sanding bit which is only supposed to be used once and then thrown out. While doing the nail design I had to tell the nail tech how to do the designs. I payed over $100 for sore nails and a ok nail design. Definitely not worth the money and DEFINITELY not sanitary. read more

My experience was very Poor!! The nail tech had no idea how to put acrylic on my two large toes! No idea I soon figured out. I directly asked her before we even started if she knew how to put acrylic on my two big toes. Oh yes she said. After trying and trying, she finally went and got someone else to try and do it. She was not much better at it! They had to take off what the first girl put on. They did not explain the issue they were having. I don't believe either one of the ladies that worked on me spoke much English which caused a large part of the problem. I think at least one of your employees should be able to speak English on every shift. It is very difficult to explain what you want done if the first problem you are having is no one speaks English, English well! It is very frustrating on both sides. My girlfriend and I finally left. She had been finished almost 45 minutes before me. Oh some of the wait time was due to the fact the polish I picked out was old. I have been going here for almost a year now, this place is not even the closest to my house, there are probably 10+ places closer to me but I come back here every time because Trang is the best! I used to be someone that got gel nails every once in a while when I had an event. They never lasted long and I never had the time to get them done every week or so. When I went to Trang for the first time I let her know that gel nails never last long and dip for some reason lasted even less time on me. Trang reassured me that dip would last on me the way she did it or else I could come back and see her! She was not wrong! The dip lasts so long that I now go back religiously every 3 weeks. No nails ever even chip in that time (just really grown out). It has made me feel good that now I always have my nails done and they look so good all the time! Since going to 21 Nail lounge they recently added drinks! They have wine and beer now which just really elevates the experience in my opinion! I had received the generous gift of a $60 gift card for Valentine's Day to get my nails done after a year of taking a break from acrylics. I usually go to 21 Nail Lounge for pedicures, so I was excited to see how they would do with my nails. I made an appointment so I got in super quickly and only had to wait like 5 minutes. I asked for an almond shape, french tip, with chrome on top. The service took over 2 hours and after about an hour, the owner kept coming over, observing the service and yelling at the tech doing my nails. I felt that was extremely rude of them to do 1. in front of a customer and 2. I almost felt like I was at fault. Now at checkout, I give them my $60 gift card and obviously expected to pay $5 - $10 out of my pocket + tip. I was told I had to pay $40 more!!!!! So for a service that took over 2 hours, I had to deal with a helicopter manager and pay over $100 for nails that were pretty easy to accomplish. I will preface - I am extremely picky when it comes to acrylics. I always run into problems like the nails lifting after 4 or 5 days, the application of the nails being crooked, or the nails come off in 1 to 2 weeks. Now, the only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because I have had all my nails on for a MONTH and have had no lifting whatsoever. I have been getting acrylics since I was 14 and have yet to have a set that completely stays, nor lifts, so I am pretty impressed. I am not sure if I will return for a set only because they love to blindside you with pricing and the customer service isn't particularly the best, but I will say, Trish did a wonderful job, despite the manager being difficult to her. read more

Excellent nail salon! One nail tech specifically, Tiffany, does a fantastic job during each and every appointment. Not only does she do a great job, she listens to what her customer wants. Tiffany pays special attention to details and concerns of her customer. I've been to nail salons all around the valley from Glendale to Scottsdale and this one is top notch! The only one concern is if you want to book Tiffany their online system will allow you book her on a day she has off. Currently she is off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I wanted to pay $48.00 but when the nail tech saw that my heel needed work she advised the $60.00 treatment. Ok then I want my nails painted and no gel polish. I've been many times to this salon but the last few everything has been rushed. I went yesterday 6/30 to get a pedicure and the lady filed off the gel polish instead of soaking it off and while doing that she managed to burn my toe with the drillbit. It's so sore and red today.
