The girl who did my nails was new, and honestly I think I may have been the first acrylic set she did. Aside from cutting the skin near my nail on several fingers, and rubbing my skin raw by spending an unnecessary amount of time filing my skin, she misguided the tools while they were on and cut the skin on the back of my hand twice. It's been 4 days since my appointment and I think the scar from the tool is permanent.... On top of that... I had to go to urgent care. I'm used to acrylics and gel polish and have never had any issues at other salons. Immediately after this experience, my eye is swollen and I have contact dermatitis. I assume from the several random tools the lady used before someone came to show her which to use and how on my hand. So now I'm left with a bill from urgent care, and a bill for eye drops and oral medication. So beyond disappointed in this place and will never return.... read more

I went as a new customer. I explained to the nail tech. These are my natural nails. these are prime gel nails don't touch the length don't drill out my natural nail. She said OK as she was taking off the nail polish. Dust is everywhere. Her arm is laying in it. She never cleaned it ever. Then she put some gel they were thick like toenails. I told her they're too thick. She filed them. Actually she filed the acrylic literally down to my natural nail and what did she do she drilled out my nails I said to her are you drilling them out and she said no I'm just cleaning them. Today I had a 5tar experience. I worked with Stephen first who did my manicure. He's been in the business for over 30 years and still takes much pride in his work. I felt the manicure was of high quality and his interaction with the clients is top notch. I look forward to returning. Next up was Specialty Jelly Spa Pedicure with Kayla was absolutely stellar. By far the worst manicure I've received. I was a walk in and asked if they had time for a dip manicure, they man said yes and asked me to check in. There were about three free technicians. When I sat at the table he asked what color I would like and tried to talk me into getting extensions which I politely declined several times. He buffed my nails and then started right in with the dip powder. There was no other prep for manicure. He didn't soak my hand, clean my cuticles up, take off dead skin, or even throw lotion on my hand after. Literally nothing. They didn't have my first choice of polish so they gave me one that looked similar. The dip is not over my entire nail. There are spaces on almost every nail. My nails are not even. There is still polish on my skin. I didn't even get to wash my hands In total, I was in the shop for about 20 minutes tops. The manicure was $45. Usually I'm a decent tipper ($15+ usually) but I only gave him 15%. Which is generous considering he kept texting on his phone and never used alcohol to sanitize. There was not one point, he asked if it was okay. From the length or shape of my nails to the final product. I would not recommend this place. read more

I found this place on instagram! I've seen pics that I loved on their page and I wanted them to work on my nails for my baby shower. I didn't want nothing too crazy.. Just something cute and simple. First of all, my first time experience with this nail salon is amazing! Leon did my nails, and it turned out fabulous. He was able to replicate the picture that I had shared with him. Everyone there is very nice and hospitable. Attention to detail is phenomenal. It is refreshing to be in a salon where everyone supports when another and helps each other out. It wasn't until I had 4 Nails break off before my fill was due that I decided to make an appointment. To my surprise I was totally wrong in judging them! Not only did I get in right at 11am on a Sunday, my full set of nails and color were done and I was out the door at 11:50! What? John was fantastic and I never felt rushed! He asked what shape I wanted and the color I wanted and he delivered! I love my nails!! I visited Forum nails today to give them another try after not going for over a year. I will not be back. I treated my mom to a pedicure. Tracy talked her into getting #4 service, which was supposed to be 45 min and include callous remover and hot stones. She did not get the hot stones, and her service was rushed through. We will not be back. Besides that, it is rude for the nail techs to speak in their own language in front of customers they are providing services for. I went to Forum Nail Salon in September for my "vacation nails". I quickly scanned Pinterest for some nail design ideas and found something I loved (see pics). Two hours later I walked out with amazing looking nails, pedicure, and eyebrows. I did have an appointment and it started on time. The staff was very attentive and accommodating (I was a chicken with the level of pain involved with eyebrow waxing) and patient. My nail tech buffed over my cuticles causing me to bleed. One of my nails broke so it was too short, she put an acrylic tip on & when she tried to cut it down almost cut my finger tip. I had to tell her 3x she was going to cut my skin. When she finally cut the nail she cut it completely uneven having to file it down to the same length my natural nail was. I truly don't want this nail tech to get in trouble but HANNAH let my daughter walk out of the nail salon with these nails today. It looks like my 4 year old nephew did them with his eyes closed. She also CONSTANTLY hassled my daughter about getting gel nails, my daughter is a college student and can only afford a regular polish! got a full set of acrylics here the pictures shown below is how they turned out. The entire process was they cut my nail, glued the acrylic tip on, attempted to shape, and ready for polish. My cuticles contest to the process . They charged me $65 that (supposed to be coffin shaped) When I tried to get a refund they said that it is not company policy to give refunds but they can fix it . I refuted to let them try and fix my nails cause honestly don't think they can. It would be a waste of time and the fingers painted white were so thick it began to hurt my real nail so I wanted them off immediately. I called the day got them done that the marble is orange instead of brown and too thick stating I am unpleased with my nails. I couldn't make it back to get them removed until the ninth because I work and I am a full time college student and it is finals week, which I communicated. Having these nail on me was not ideal at all they hurt my nails and were embarrassing. I tried very hard and did not receive a refund for my nails that they removed because of them being so improper they caused pain. read more

One of the loudest nail salons I have been into, so much for relaxing, and they don't listen told her three times shorter on my pedicure, they try to make it look like stuff is sanitized but the packages are mot sealed so they're not sanitized. And towards the end of my pedicure closing down, don't wash the pedicure bowls out just rinse them when they are done using them.
