Stopped by to celebrate our anniversary over some yummy ramen. The restaurant is in a very commercial spot. It is hard to find parking just keep that in mind. Upon arriving we were greeted by a very nice waiter. We loved the look of the place felt like we stopped by for a bite in japan... very authentic. We ordered some Japanese beers to start and an order of Takoyaki Fried Octopus. They were so good and truly melted in your mouth. I love how they put extra bonito flakes over them. My partner ordered the Tonkotsu and said it was very flavorful. It was his first time having ramen. As for me i ordered the black garlic. Days Monday afternoon 1 PM beautiful day outside. It was only two tables set a small but nice looking place. Looks clean, friendly stuff. I ordered chicken pai tan, to go. My boyfriend and I went to Zuru Ramen because he had never tried it before, and it ended up being such a great experience. We both ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, and we got it as a combo which came with a bao bun and a boba tea. The ramen was absolutely delicious -- the broth was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, exactly what you want from a good tonkotsu. The noodles had the perfect texture and everything in the bowl felt comforting and satisfying. The bao bun was soft, fluffy, and the perfect little side to the ramen. For the drinks, I ordered the taro boba tea, which was creamy and slightly sweet, and my boyfriend got the passion fruit boba tea, which was super refreshing. Everything was so good and so filling that we didn't even have room for dessert -- and that rarely happens! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat ramen in Miami. The ramen was pretty good, and the house salad was a generous portion, but the small 2 oz cup of dressing wasn't enough for even half the salad, so most of it went undressed. The ika portion was extremely small, only about four or five pieces. The mochi donut had decent flavor, but it was very oily. I came here with some family members, my uncle wanted to have a soup and I wondered if he had ever tried a bowl of ramen. He had never had ramen, so I enlisted my cousin and uncle and headed to Zuru. The space is small. There is outside sitting but we chose to sit inside. We got some waters, a small bottle of hot sake because the temperature inside was cold. My uncle and I got a classic tonkotsu ramen, my cousin a vegetarian ramen. The food came promptly and we were all hungry. I enjoyed the broth and the assortment of items (mushrooms, nori, pork, egg, etc) yet I wasn't crazy about the ramen itself, I prefer fat noodles rather than thin noodles. Everything was cooked perfect and the flavors were great. I may had enjoyed a bit more broth on my bowl but I was satisfied since the extra amount of noodles compensated this imbalance. Overall, a good place to visit, they have a great menu, they serve boba tea, it's a cool place to hang out. I will still look for my favorite ramen bowl. read more

Yet another neighborhood favorite down the drain. I ordered the yakiniku don through uber eats today ( and on wed because it's THAT good). The star ingredient, Tokyo butter was missing from the order. That makes a HUGE difference in flavor and taste. I called and explained 2x then 3rd time to a 2nd person that the order was messed up. INSTEAD of saying if you like u can come and we could prepare another dish or add the butter, etc, I was instructed to go through uber eats to get a refund. Good food, great service! We arrived right before the lunch rush and was seated immediately since we were the only people there at that moment. I ordered vegan ramen and my daughter ordered Chashu bowl subbing the meat for tofu instead. We also ordered crispy tofu bao buns to share. My daughter always gets a boba (which she was able to ask for 50% sugar which is great) and while it's on my mind, the young lady that assisted us told us that their tapioca boba does not have gelatin which is great! I didn't know they used gelatin so that was news to me but now that I do know, I'll definitely ask that in advance at the many boba places we go to for the kids. So on to the food... My vegan ramen was tasty! They use a mushroom broth which is full of umami flavor which I loved. It has 3 large pieces of crispy tofu. I only wish it was a more firm tofu because once it's added to the broth, the softer center of the tofu becomes more soft. Not ideal if you like it firm and crispy like me BUT I didn't hate it. Though it was soft, it still was nice with the broth. The noodles were PERFECT TEXTURE for me. I prefer some chew to my ramen. Their noodles are not the squiggly ones but almost resembling spaghetti but more thin. This ramen has mushrooms, brussel sprouts, spring onion. and corn (which I omitted from mine). Though the flavor of the broth was already nice, l added some of their chili oil (which was a sesame oil flavor) and that made it next level. I enjoyed my ramen very much. My daughter finished her bowl. She wasn't really a fan of the soft tofu (she also removed the meat and subbed for crispy tofu). I tasted it though and I thought it was lovely. Yes it had a soft center but for me it wasn't a deal breaker. I thought the flavor was good enough to still compliment the dish and would definitely order it again. The Bao Buns were tricky though. My first two bites were almost tasteless and I almost felt I didn't like them but then the third bite is where it's at! Lol! That's when I got a good bite of everything, the bun, the tofu, the greenery and the sauce and together, they married well. The crisp tofu against the moist bao bun was really quite nice. Do I believe that a non meat eater would enjoy this? Honestly, probably not but mostly due to texture. However, a person who is accustomed to tofu, would enjoy this I think. Overall, my daughter and I enjoyed our lunch and I look forward to have another girls day lunch with her at this spot. They are located in the new place which is situated on the NW corner of Red Rd and Miramar Pkwy. The same plaza where the WOB and Flanigan's are. This place isn't large and can probably seat maybe 5 or 6 smaller groups. Great lunch spot! read more

We came here the first time during Happy Hour on Mon-Fri @ 3-6pm where select items are 50% off. Been back a few times when we were in the area and tried different items. Felt just a tad bit hungry after watching some anime. Yeah I know I'm a big kid at heart. So anyway I saw them eating these rice ball things and after some research I found out they were called Onigiri and they also had katsu which is curry in Japan. So what did huh Steve do? I got me some katsu and Onigiri. I never had either before and they were delicious the onigiri had this thick sauce that was kind of like of like mayonnaise. It was good. The pork chop was batter covered and fried to perfection and the curry sauce has carrots and potatoes in there that complimented the rice and pork chop very well. Best ramen I've had in the Miramar-Pembroke Pines area. Their broth is rich and flavorful. My ramen was tasty and well prepared - perfectly jammy egg and fresh vegetables. The portion size was very generous. Their pan fried gyoza was also very good. Our server was friendly and checked in on my table often. A small and tiny restaurant in a shopping center full of places to eat in Miramar! I tried the one in plantation and wanted to try this location out as well! Although it is tiny the service and food outshines it all! The servers were kind and we were especially fond of Tommy as he assisted us when our water accidentally fell. He was quick to clean up and always checked in with us to make sure everything was perfect. My partner and I got the tonkotsu ramen and katsu curry. Both came out at a Very reasonable time frame and were so so delicious. We also got karaage as appetizers and although we didn't like what it was topped off with, everything else was delicious. Best ramen I've ever had, hands down. I was actually hesitant to leave a review cause I don't want this place blowing up and have to fight through lines to eat here. Fully loaded bowls, making it well worth the price (I get the niku soba and add corn and ajitama egg and it's 20$). Must be the best, most flavorful tonkotsu broth I've had. The pork belly and shoulder are so tender and have actual flavor, rather than just mild pork flavoring. The ajitama eggs are perfect. I always leave super full and satisfied just from one bowl. I'm hard pressed to ever order appetizers. Downside is it's a very small restaurant, couldn't really seat more than a table of 6. Staff is very kind and they greet you in Japanese and send you off in Japanese, too. Service is super quick, too. You gotta try this place out if you're a ramen fan. read more

For only $14.50, I got a salad (with a really good sesame dressing) fried gyoza, and tonkotsu ramen. The noodles were a bit thinner than usual. Probably the most authentic ramen shop I've tried in Broward. From the minute we walked in, we felt transported to the streets of Japan. We tried the Agedahi Tofu which never had before. I don't normally get Tofu when I'm out but this was mighty delicious. Also, their Karaage was perfectly crisp. The batter they use is definitely quality. Didn't taste oily at all. Also, the Korean Chicken Wings were finger-licking good. And don't forget the Takoyaki Fried Octopus. Wow. Flavor explosion. Now let's talk about their ramen. We tried both the Yuzu Raman and Black Garlic Ramen. Totally 2 different flavor profiles. Both broths are super flavorful and the noodles were standouts. Fresh made perfect snap on every bite and al dente. These ramen were just quality and they tasted authentic. Not salty, not sweet, not doused with too much sauce or seasoning. Had to add spice even though it was ordered as a spicy dish (not a problem easier to make it spicy than less spicy). Takoyaki fried Octopus- texture was good, scrumptious. Everybody who dined in ordered the same so there must be something about them. For me personally, I was never a fan on the whiskers, but they do make the presentation better. Also got the chicken Katsu. Presentation 10/10, crispy but lack of meat every bite. A -mbiance: love love the street food type of feel. Feels like you're in the city. Went here a couple more times over the last few months and they just continue to impress me. Mezusoba has been my go to recently, where in basically it is "brothless" ramen. If I remember correctly as the staff explained, the broth should just be enough to flavor(?) The noodles. It works well for me because I am the type of person who doesn't finish the broth/soup and I always felt that that was a waste. So i found the perfect ramen for me.
