It was a weekend when I decided to have my bathroom shower drain serviced I knew what the issue was for the most part and wanted a plumber with video to confirm the issue. I saw that previous reviews revealed the business used video in their practice to help diagnose problems with their clients plumbing problems. I sent out a Yelp message in hopes to setup and appt that evening or very soon and they responded quickly and said they were able to come out that evening. Upon coming out they saw that I removed my shoes in my hallway and husband and wife? team respected my home by doing the same at the door. The plumber is Vietnamese and understand this practice. And so I appreciated the respect for my home. . Thank you for that! He told me his name but, unfortunately, I can't recall his Vietnamese name. I do apologize about that. I told him the problem that highly caused the backup and the slow drain in the shower. He took the fiber optic flexible scope camera and put it down the drain and quickly confirmed my thoughts and determined the problem. He had a couple of tool boxes that he brought in with him. He had a three prong pincers type of tool that was long enough to reach down the drain and pull out hair plugs and other material and shortly after got out the large metal nut that was the problem. We were able to flush the water at full flow and confirm that the drain was not blocked and further and the problem was resolved. The only problem that I have is when I asked if they could look down the drain with the fiber optic camera again just to confirm that the drain is clear while they are there and the tool is ready. He said, I only stated there was one problem not more. Therefore, he said, he quoted for only one problem. *Crickets* He was there for less than 30 minutes and charged me $225! I'm thankful for the fix and maybe I'm out of touch but I thought that was a little steep for half an hour. However, I understand if this is a weekend charge but I DID NOT receive a receipt or any documentation regarding the fix. I should have asked what the quote was prior to the job. So, YOU Should. I cannot uncheck value on this review and I did not check it to start. Overall, I am very satisfied with Happy Flow Plumbing and would use their service again but would ask more questions when it comes to their billing/receipt practices. read more

I reached out to Happy Flow Plumbing last month when I had a water leak in my main line. It was previously repaired by another plumbing company but the repair didn't hold up from the initial work and a follow up repair. Rather than use the same company, I came across Happy Flow on Yelp and contacted Steven. He was quick and responded to my message and came out the next day to take a look at the leak. Sometimes it's hard to find a reliable person to work on your house but after looking, we found Steven and Happy Flow. We were dealing with an issue in our bathroom being a slow drain that Steven came out an hour after we had inquired about it. Steven and his wife took care of it and I had some little projects that I had asked if they could also take care of which included some sink drains, shower arms and controls. Steven did one of our drains and then came back the next day to finish all the others. In the process of installing/replacing parts of our bathroom, he noticed a leak in the main bathroom that was replaced not too long ago. I sent out a request late at night for an issue with my bathtub handle not shutting the water off when turned to the "off" position. Steven was the first to respond and responded within a few minutes after I sent out the request. He diagnosed that there was an issue with the cartridge and said that he could come and take a look at it tomorrow evening. He called me early in the afternoon and said he had availability and came over and confirmed that was the issue. He was correct in the diagnosis, but had to make a quick run to home depot and purchase the correct cartridge as well as a torque tool because the builder who originally installed installed it very tightly and was unable to open it with the tools he brought. Additionally, Steven addressed a separate issue with our dishwasher, which was experiencing water pooling at the bottom. He cleaned the dishwasher hose, resolving the problem. All in all the job was completed in roughly 1 - 1.5 hours and I am happy with the results and price. Thank you for the quick response and fix.
