This was my first time at one of these massage & reflexology places. I always drove by them but never been inside. Some friends wanted to drop by after dinner and suggested I try it out. We were immediately greeted and escorted to a room with comfy convertible chairs. My friends and I each decided on the $40 package which included a 15 minute foot massage where they bring a bucket of warm water out to cleanse your feet and then wrap them in towels. After that they proceed with the full body massage for 45 minutes. If you prefer not to get a certain part of your body or face massaged just request it before they begin. I also recommend wearing loose clothing. This was a spur of the moment decision for me so I was not prepared and walked in with skinny jeggings which I ended up having to take off. However my masseuse kept me covered and comfortable throughout the process. This is a great deal if you need to relax or just relieve some tension! read more

One of the worst massages I have had. Not sure why this place has so many stars, or possibly I went on an off day. My original masseuse started 15 min on my feet and then randomly switched to another lady. They did not acknowledge me or explain what was going on, just a little switch-a-roo. Both were sub par in terms of quality and I had to keep telling them to increase the pressure. Second, the masseuse massaging my friend next to me kept leaving the room to answer the phone in the middle of her massage! She probably had at least 15 min of her alotted time wasted. Apparently he was the only one who spoke English, so he "had to answer the phone." They did not complete the massage (suppose to be 30 min back and 30 min feet), they ran out of time and did not massage head, and maybe 1 min each of arms. I am not going back. I would recommend you go to foot spa down the street, next to the fire station. They are 100X friendlier and more professional. They have a dedicated person at the front to answer the phone/take walk ins and the ambiance is quieter/ more relaxing ). Happy foot sucks!! read more

I love this place because I'm not sure who can beat $30 for an hour massage(45 minute feet massage and 15 minutes back). We walked in, and they immediately took us in to room that had recliners and a tv...a little strange, but hey, whatever works. They target the main trigger points at the bottom of your feet, and they seem to be really knowledgeable with what they are doing. I work out at least 6xs a week, so a feet massage is the best thing my feet could get. I recommend this place if you want something cheap and good. read more

Great massage for a great price! They specialize in foot massages, hence the name, and also do full body massages. For the foot massage, you get traditionally treated with a hot tea foot/leg bath.The staff is friendly and does a wonderful job at making your sore parts feel much better! Or just to relax if you don't need fixing. It helps to know some Chinese since a few of the people who work here don't speak very good English. But, if not, just get creative and everything will be just fine. They have several private rooms, one of which has two large comfy reclining chairs that double as massage chairs and a tv as well. There are several of these places around so make sure you get to the right location. Right next to Bobba Latte and Chinese First BBQ. Creepiest thing happened! I called to schedule a body scrub and they said they offered it. Once I got there they tried to get me to do reflexology with a full body massage. I repeated several times that I wanted a full body scrub and also that I'd called to request a female employee since I didn't feel comfortable with one of the older guys doing the scrub. Turns out they don't offer scrubs and they don't have females working there either. I did not feel comfortable at all especially with the way the male employees acted towards me. We have been going to Happy Foot for several years. The results can be mixed, tonight's massage was the best I've ever gotten there. Hong gave me a really deep tissue massage and it was fantastic. He worked 45 minutes on my feet and legs and 15 minutes on my back and neck. My back must have popped five or six times. I had been working hard all day at the farmers market and so it was really terrific to get a good rub down. In truth, I have gotten massages there that were not always the best. Since each individual masseur has a different technique, sometimes I like it and sometimes it's not exactly what I would want. But in general, I am very satisfied with them. I must have been because we have been going there for quite a while and I am sure I've had at least 25 massages there. My friend M and I decided to come here on a whim one day. We just walked in and had, at that point, zero experience with these types of foot massage places. The guy working was nice and explained that we could choose different 'packages': length of overall time, length of time spent on feet, length of back massage, etc. We decided to go with the 'standard' one. I think it was an hour long with 45 minutes on feet/legs and 15 minutes on the back. The 45 minutes on my feet were absolutely amazing. Like, seriously. The room was relaxing, the masseur used just the right amount of pressure on my feet and legs, etc. it was great. When they had us flip over, we learned that the chairs were convertible! There's a head hole in there so you can lay flat and still breathe. Haha. The pressure was quite intense for my shoulders/back, but that's probably more because I'm ridiculously tensed up most of the time. I'll definitely be back (they have a punch card, too!), but I'll need to tell them to take it easy on my back and shoulders. Excellent value, too. read more

$30 for 1 hour of foot massage, $10 extra if you want half foot, half back massage. They have TV screens so you can watch TV while getting your massage which is nice. My foot massage was a medium pressure, and I enjoyed the back massage better than the foot massage since it was at a deeper pressure. Knowing Mandarin Chinese will help here, since they speak limited English here. read more

I needed to find a place open later than my usual in Addison. I am used to intense Korean style reflexology, slow deep pressure. The kind that can hurt but then feels amazing after. I have been to several places when my usual was not open and they do a lot of just rubbing, not systematic reflexology so I was a little nervous to try. However, I got this referral from a Korean friend and she said it was amazing, so I trusted her! And it was amazing - this was the first place I have been to that is the closest to the reflexology I am used to. I opted for the 45min foot and 15min body. It felt like he even went a little extra. The chairs were very comfy and atmosphere relaxing and clean. They did talk a little loud in the halls for a few minutes, but no biggie. The setting was comfortable and my sister and I sat comfortably while listening to soothing music. Also the guy who was massaging my feet was doing a good job ...UNTIL..HE STARTED FALLING ASLEEP.. while working on my feet. Creepy in the worst possible way! I went for the 30 min. foot massage & 30 min. full body massage. The old guy was not only a horrible acupressure masseuse, but he was a pervert! After a mediocre foot massage, he asked me to fully disrobe without leaving the room or even turning his back. Yuck! I told him I did not feel comfortable doing so. So I kept my sports bra and capri tights on. He proceeded with a full-body massage, while panting like a dog the whole time. He then wound up just groping my butt to the point where I had to tell him to stop. Mind you, I get full-body massages frequently and am no prude. WORST foot massage EVER! It was great the first time I came here. This time the guy was falling asleep while doing my feet. He would rub my foot in the same spot very lightly then start falling asleep. I finally got irritated and told them I did not want my massage anymore. A younger guy come over and I explained what was happening and he finished my back massage. He did a great job. They still charged me $25.00 for my service. As I was leaving, he was outside smoking and laughing with another employee. You will have VERY angry feet if you end up with him! I will never go back! read more

At first, my sister, mother, father, and I were supposed to have a massage session, but they turned us away... ok, not really. We walked out after they said they had appointments, but they ran out and invited us back in. Aren't the customers always right? Just kidding =P So now, only my sister and mother were at Happy Foot with me. They had us sit in quite comfortable grandpa chairs with a huge flat-screen TV on the wall. Two chairs in the front, and two in the back. Unfortunately, everything was in Chinese, so we could only laugh at people's facial expressions (which I did a lot :X). We got the hour-long massage with the shoulder/back/foot massage. Yes, you keep your clothes on the entire time. Also, I wanted to laugh most of the time, and I don't quite know why. 1) Soak your feet in a hot bucket of water with towels over your body. 2) They start with a "face massage" (brow bone, head, neck) then move to your shoulder and arms. My masseuse had to tell me to relax, which is weird because I was (or thought I was). They get a little close to your tatas but they don't touch, so don't freak out like I almost did lol. 3) Foot massage was awesome! Well, if it didn't hurt. My masseuse put too much pressure on certain areas (like on my bones D:). They massage your toes, press on points like your heel to improve circulation or something. I forgot... 4) Lie on your stomach while they pound you with a meat tenderizer. Or so it felt that way. I was in pain at points because of the constant, intense pressure on my back - probably from all the knots my masseuse was trying to undo. I was also surprised they touch your butt. Well, not like "feel," more like hacking (if you're familiar with that massage technique). I laughed out loud inside lol. The best part was when he massaged my legs and lower back (done while you're lying on your stomach). I did a lot of walking that day, so that massage helped relieve some of the tension. read more

My boyfriend and I went to this place based off of previous Yelp reviews. The language barrier is huge, #1... #2: the guy that massaged my feet and back was so rough, hard, and kept coughing all over me. And reeked of cigarettes so i guess thats why... All he did was firmly rub me up and down... not once did he slow down, make it enjoyable or feel good. He surely did not care about how well of job he was doing, if he knew what he was doing at all. I give this place a two because it is clean, and not ghetto like some foot spas can be. My visit to Happy Foot was based on reveiws on Yelp. They brought me right in but took me all the way to the back by the bathroom and supply room where people were coming and going. I asked to be moved to the front which they gladly did. However there were two talkative people discussing their lives. Finally, I asked if they would allow me to enjoy my massage. Even after lowering their voices, the guy turned the TV on. I have used enviornments like Happy Foot for sometime, in fact use one near Meadows and 75 which is quiet, clean and at least they speak English. The therapist however was great but I fault the staff for not asking the guest to lower their voices, AND why have a TV in a place where people are trying to relax.
