At this point I might have tried all boba places in Denver and Happy Lemon is SOLID, y'all. Right up there with Kung Fu Tea but this puff cream option changed the game. I've never tried puff cream before, so the nice fella at the counter gave me a sample to try which was awesome. I can equate the taste to a mixture of thick whipped cream and cake batter and it was delightful. I decided to go classic with it and get the regular boba milk tea with half sugar. The spread the puff cream all over the inside of the cup vs. putting it on top or bottom - the only downside is that I wish I had gotten a large instead of a medium because I drank it SO fast it was that good! My boba milk tea was good. The sweetness was right and the boba was also cooked right. The taro milk tea on the other hand was a bit overly sweet even after adjusting to 30% sugar. I would not recommend the bubble waffle. It was crispy on the outside, but there was almost nothing inside when typically it should have been chewy inside. Was here yesterday after going for a run. Awesome drink! Awesome Service! Nice refreshment after a run in the heat.

When we arrived, around 8:25, we stood and looked at the menu for around 5 minutes after looking at the menu we talked to the man at the counter to place our order. At 8:33 the man told us they had to turn the waffle makers off 30 minutes before closing. We were shocked by the man's ignorance after we stood there for 5 minutes with no warning that the machines had to be turned off. The man refused to make us a waddle 3 minutes after they turned them off. We drove across town to get a bubble waffle. The waffle machine should close when the store closes. And there is no way the bubble waffle machine needs 30 minutes to cool down. read more

Excited to discover this place and was forward to the waffles. I had ordered their waffle both the regular and chocolate and it's undercooked. They have a cheap machine to make waffles in so it can only cook the outside of the waffles but not the inside. The inside of the waffles was still wet and raw. It's unsafe to eat raw cookie dough because of the egg. Same idea here. I threw both of mine away. I did tried their taro milk tea. Not impressed as it lacks the taro flavor and watered down.
