I stay in hotels the majority of the year for work. This hotel was one that I will remember…read more First, yes - the rooms are small, but....they do small well. The rooms are uniquely decorated and offer some great views. My room overlooked the water. So, cool view. Amenity-wise, I usually put significant weight of my hotel opinions based on the fitness center, concierge lounge, and restaurants. While this location didn't have a concierge lounge, it did have a really good restaurant. I had some amazing breakfast. Fitness-center-wise, they had enough options and equipment to offer a good full body workout for a hotel. Overall, I was happy with the property and will look to stay at the same place during future visits.

The ocean facing rooms are luxurious and beautiful. It is definitely expensive but its truly beautiful and such special place. Wedding Venue Review: We saw so many venues at the start of planning and the Beauport was the only one that made a lasting impression. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to host our wedding there. It was so stunning, beautiful and perfect. We were truly proud to invite our friends and family to such a breathtaking place. The food was absolutely to die for, the waitstaff and hotel staff were so sweet, and our coordinator Jacey was attentive in the months leading up to our event. We did have some critiques. The communication with our coordinator was not 100% on the day of our wedding. There were small things here and there, but the biggest one was that a row was meant to be reserved for our bridesmaids, groomsmen and flower girl, but it was not so they ended up having to stand up with us. We discussed this many times during planning, and emphasized the importance of only having our man of honor and our best man standing up with us. There was no apology for this pretty considerable error until I brought it up myself a week after the wedding. The other critique was that my parents were in city facing rooms and had a very hard time sleeping due to excessive noise from the street. Other people in the room block had much better rooms which we felt should have been given to our parents. Other than that, everything was amazing. It was truly so special and we will never ever forget it. We couldn't be more grateful to have had the most perfect sunny day on the water in Gloucester, a place that has been special to my heart since I was a kid. Thank you Beauport Hotel! I attended a 3 day conference here, but Im local so I didn't stay overnight. This review is for the…read moremeeting rooms only. Let's start with parking. Parking in the Seaport is expensive. Full stop. No way to get around it. Parking in the garage directly behind the Omni was super convenient and there is a walk bridge to the hotel on level 3. As a guest at the Omni, go to the front desk and you can pay for, and validate, your Parking, with a small discount. It was a $10 difference. I'll take it! The lobby itself it very nice and comfortable, with many seating options and lots of outlets for charging devices. There is a coffee shop, a grab & go convenience market where you put your credit card in to enter (and youre automatically charged for any item you take upon exiting, a bar, a spa, and restaurants. Go up the stairs or escalator up a level, and there is a floor of ballrooms and meeting rooms. All are very comfortable and technology capable. The breakfast, lunch and snack breaks provided were of good quality and the staff were pleasant. I'd come back the next time a conference brings me here!

Valet downstairs ($70) or self-park ($65) was moderately expensive for the area, but there's not a lot of way around it unless you take the bus or car services. Staff very helpful, and the room was clean and nicely apportioned, though the lack of a towel holder by the shower/bathtub was a bit strange. Small fridge, coffee pot, safe in the room. Toilet had multiple functions. Folks took advantage of the pool, exercise facilities. Very long hallway around the tower to get to the room, so quiet, but a haul whenever I wanted to get something from the room. Robe in the closet. Conference spaces were comfortable, big bathrooms and reasonably wide areas for big rooms and small. Not too many areas to plug in, though. Staff pretty good at clearing tables and getting food out (they were quick to put it away). Not sure fi that was outside catering or through the hotel, so not factored into the review. Overall for the price, I've had better, but these seems to be the average for downtown Boston pricing-wise. They do have a loyalty program, but not affiliated with Hilton/Marriott/etc. Coffee shop and a restaurant downstairs. 2nd / 3rd floors were primarily conference spaces.
