Ivy was the nail tech that did my nails this time. I was extremely impressed with her work. She completely reshaped my nails perfectly and was extremely patient as I figured out a design. Needed my lashes done desperately and also needed a new place to go....found this place by chance and am very much delighted with the outcome. My lashes are beautiful. Its a great location, easy parking and plenty of chairs to take you in. I haven't tried the mani/pedi's yet but I sure will soon. I walked in with zero appointment asked if they could do my lashes, the lovely woman said yes, I asked when she said now, if you want. Yes, i did want and I was so thankful. The chair/bed is very comfortable. I got volume lashes after she asked what i wanted and showed her some pics of me when I had them and they hadn't been a mess like when I walked in. Not coming back to this place. Really disappointed with the service and quality of the acrylic nails I received today. I currently have a lot of nail glue that is stuck on my skin and as you can see from the pictures... the final results were very messy. Paint was also left the on my skin around my cuticles. Also the nail technician was too rough with her tools and I felt a horrible sharp pain and had to pull away from her TWICE. It was legitimately painful and I was surprised that her response was so apathetic. I was taken back from the grumpy attitude and carelessness. She would scoff and roll her eyes whenever the phone would ring. And she would sigh and seemed impatient throughout the entire service. I felt uncomfortable being there because of it. She was late for the scheduled appointment and then eventually walked over to where I was waiting and just abruptly tossed the nail color chart in front of me and returned to her other client. Honestly I'm kind of upset with my experience here. My nails kept getting filed down during the removal process and I asked multiple times to let it soak after the top layers were removed. (I have been getting my nails done for years -- I know that you need to file the top coat off and let it soak, not drill into the nail ). I was told that they needed to drill off all the paint to get it off. It even hurt a few times because my nails were getting so thin, and I honestly can feel how thin my nails are under my acrylics right now. Even after removal they kept filling down my nails and cuticles which I didn't realize until after they had been removed. I'm upset that my nails are so thin after i brought it up multiple times to please let it soak longer and that it hurts. Then for the design she only painted 2 nails on each hand but I think I was still charged full price. I'm not sure what went wrong in communication, I said I wanted 1 design 2 different colors, one on each hand. She took that to mean 2 fingers. I didn't realize she was done until I said hey what about the other nails? She said she's already finished and that I said I only wanted 2 fingers and she can't change it now. I get that miscommunication happens but I've never had this problem before. I don't know who comes to salons to only get 2 nails per hand painted and I often get 2 designs, one on each hand. I'll probably try the salon one more time because it's so close and I've exhausted my options with nail salons in this area. The nails still look good, it's just not what I wanted and also my nails are now so thin under the acrylics and cuticles were removed. And I felt like I wasn't taken seriously when I asked to let my nails soak instead of drilling into my nail. read more

First time here because my regular place was booked. They seated me immediately for a pedicure as soon as I walked in. Their price is great ($30), the ambiance is quiet, which is what I like. The best part was their dedication to quality. Man I'm so done with this place. The first time I went there, the woman who did my nails ignored my request to have them filed shorter. The gel polish that they put on me also chipped within 3 days. When filing off my acrylics, they didn't file the parts that are lifting near the cuticles properly. Today I went there for the second time. On the phone, they said a fook appointment would take 45 mins. The appointment ended up taking a bit over an hour and a half. Now I get being over by 15-30 mins but double the time is just way off. Then the same thing happened with them not filing the lifting parts of my acrylic cleanly. She also didn't ask me what length I wanted and I had to tell her twice to get it to the length I wanted. The acrylic on the side of my right thumb had cracked and lifted, and when I pointed this out to her she didn't file it off and reapply the acrylic, instead she just put more acrylic on top of the crack. The acrylic then cracked again after she told me to wash my hands, and she basically did the same thing, covering it up with more acrylic without actually filing it off. After that, she didn't even file the crack she "fixed" to even it out. When she put the chrome gel color over it, I can visibly see the lump where she "fixed" the crack. One of my fingers also touched the towels before it was dry and after I pointed this out to her she ignored me and put my hand in under the uv light anyway, and I can see the texture from the towel on it. Other places I've been to also would put a double layer of top coat whenever I do chrome colors, but not this place. Usually I would ask but at this point I just didn't bother since they've ignored my other requests. I would take my money to Levue nails instead. They're in the same area. Not only that Levue is cleaner, nicer, you won't walk out of there feeling pissed off after $60 as they actually do nails properly and will make sure that you're happy with what you have. The only reason I'd *maybe* go back to this place is if I'm in really desperate need of a fill and Levue is booked lol. read more

I've been to this shop twice and both manicures were really poorly done. I tried to give them a second chance but I don't think I will come back again. For this (second) visit I got a shellac pedicure and regular manicure. I had one person working in my feet and another on my hands. While I was paying attention to my feet the manicurist started trimming my cuticles without asking me. I usually have them pushed back to avoid infections. And I'm not sure the tools used were cleaned. My cuticles were torn up and bleeding which you can see in the pics. The manicurist kept putting on paint coats with a dry brush so my nails came out streaky and my cuticles were bleeding. You're supposed to spread the polish to the edges and blend. After both services the manicurist tried to give me a one hand neck massage which felt awkward and unwelcome--- I wish she had asked. It felt half- hearted since it was one handed and I was in the pedicure chair. A day later, my manicure is peeling-- it didn't even last 24 hours. I paid close to $70 with the tip and it was not worth it at all. It wasn't relaxing and overall the service was not good at all. read more

This is the second time I got my nails done here and I am so impressed how long lasting the shallac nail polish has lasted! My friend and I got our nails done back on the 5th of December, now it's Dec 31st, and it has lasted for this long while my nails have grown quite a bit! By this time, I'm itching to pull it off, but now I want to see if I can make this last as long as I can! The side closest to my cuticles are looking less smooth, but it still looks good! read more

If you value your feet and hands, DO NOT use their services! I went here on Wednesday, April 22nd for a manicure and pedicure. Here are two things that were terribly wrong: 1. They used the tools from my feet for another persons manicure. Lucky for that person I have no feet issues. When it came time for my manicure she was looking for the tools and realized there were not there. She grabbed some tools and because I didn't know where they came from, I asked her for new tools removed from the sterilization box. 2. The foam pieces used to separate my toes were removed and placed back in rotation. Those were the BIG problems. Here are some smaller ones: 1. My foot soak was only about 3 minutes and the water was not warm 2. She didn't use cuticle remover on both feet, just one of them. 3. Foot massage was non-existent, maybe 2 minutes total. 4. Manicure, she soaked one hand but not the other hand. When I asked why one hand was soaked and the other not, she huffed and said my right hand was softer so it didn't need to soak. Huh??? I definitely understand the concept of you get what you pay for. I didn't pay for these services it was an administrative assistant event. It was not an expensive place and was one of those typical Mani/Pedi places that we all know so well. There are times where you do go to those places but this was NOT a good place. Do not add this to your list of places where you go for good, cheap service. There are a lot of places that don't cost a lot and the service and cleanliness is top notch. I've just got my manicure and pedicure a few minutes ago. And it's the best I've ever had! The technician is nice and quiet, she anticipated my needs before I even asked for it. Some nail salons staff talk too much among themselves that they failed to pay special attention to my nails. Ve did a good job, she's a perfectionist, she made sure that every detail is perfect. So glad I found this place. They are conveniently located, open late, and offer basic services (like eyebrow waxing) at great rates. Went in with high expectations due to amazing reviews! My friend made two appointments for her and her sister and I made one. They confirmed a of them but didn't have enough nail artists, and had only one that could do acrylics. I sat waiting for three hours total for them to do my friends and her sisters nails. They would yank our hands and one lady kept yelling at my friend to stop touching stuff when her hand was completely still. My nails were fast and easy but the shellac is uneven and is starting to chip after 3 days. read more

I have been to this salon multiple times. I admit to not being a frequent nail salon attender but found that they do a great job and I feel confident about my nails when I leave. What I like is: My cuticles don't hurt after Massage chairs are awesome Friendly staff Beautiful nail art same day visits clean place I have been to many of the other salons in Redmond and found them to not have all of these things. It is frustrating to have to ask for them to fix something they bumped or to fix a sharp edge. Plus, I just want good looking nails that don't hurt. Really, I am not an expert but it should not hurt. Was nice to be able to walk in and get going right away with a mani/pedi, however, they gave the girl who went with me a staff infection on her thumb. They kept messing with her thumb after she repeatedly told them not to touch it with their tools and they kept doing it. I would never go back for that reason alone. read more

Was really disappointed leaving the salon. I don't like to write bad reviews, as I feel bad but... I just can't stop thinking about how little effort they put into my nails. I went in to get a fill and was not happy with the outcome. I wanted to keep my coffin shape and the woman acknowledged and said ok, I left with square nails and they were crooked and uneven. She got the nail polish all over my fingers and even some glue all over one of my fingers. I don't like confrontation so I didn't say anything but I was kind of hurt that she didn't put any effort into my nails and just wanted to get me out. I was the ONLY person there while she was doing my nails. She charged me $58 for a fill and pedicure. Idk if she overcharged me or what but I was not expecting it to be that much. I really hope a higher up sees this and realizes that their employees need to make sure they put effort into their customers nails if they want people to come back... although the woman doing my pedicure was really nice and did a good job. Maybe I just got unlucky with the woman who did my nails. Overall my nails were messy and uneven but the pedicure was great. I wouldn't recommend though solely on this experience :/ sorry. At first I was happy that they were welcoming & most important thing was that they able to speak & understand English which is usually a problem of communication in all the nail salons. But I went inside for my Brazilian wax with a lady named Tran & she was quite rough with the waxing which made me bleed in some area. I was still ok with that as she was quite sweet & trying to not to repeat it, thenafter she glanced in to my wallet & saw some cash while I was taking out my credit card to pay. She said that I should give her cash & remaining amount on credit card. I found that quite cheap. I went to this office as it was close to my workplace. I have tried them twice for a shellac manicure and both times the shellac started to peel up within 2 days. This last time I went back the next day to ask them to fix the nails that were peeling and they tried to charge me $15 2 days after paying $40.
