I was in a bit of a time crunch the day I needed my toes done and tried getting an appointment with other places I had been. This salon was able to get me in and when I showed up she was prepped and ready. Super clean place although she says she is moving in a month. She is taking clients by appointment only so it was nice to see safety was a precaution here. The pedicure was great. She did a great massage and I was relaxed. I was a bit surprised when I got up that the website has a pedicure for $25 and she told me $30. The website needs to get updated with the higher pricing. Overall it was great. I have tried this salon twice, the first time I did a pedicure and it was just ok, however I wanted to give them another try - fail! I will not return. This is the best manicure I've received in a while. It seems like nail salons no longer put in the time and care to carefully remove polish without hurting your nails. Redmond Nails Salon does a fantastic job. They are so careful and patient and sweet. After the polish was removed, they took their time to prep and clean my nails and then carefully dipped them for my new SNS color. They took their time- but I was still out of the salon in 40 minutes. They also were very attentive to my needs and gave me free parrafin wax because my cuticles were dry. I can't explain how nice they were and how good it get to be treated like I was the most important guest rather than just another customer. My nails feel strong and I don't think this polish will chip. I'm so thankful for these ladies and I will absolutely be back time and time again. read more

I am never going back to this salon, and I urge you to find another as well. I have been here three times; one experience good, one just okay, and one awful. I came in today to get my dip manicure removed (I came to this same salon to get it applied) and had made an appointment earlier that morning. They said they didn't have room for me so I sat in a pedicure chair (which is fine) and the woman who did my nails clearly had no idea what she was doing. After over an hour, she was still unable to even remove my polish, and I left with my nails looking like they do in the photo. She had called some of the other women over and they were all giggling in a low voice, like it was so funny she had just ruined my nails. As I sat there I saw several other women come in who also had appointments, and saw the woman on the phone pretend she had no idea what they were talking about since they were busy and couldn't take any more people. This salon provides a reasonable nail service including a relaxing massage, but their quality of the service varies depending on a manicurist. Sometimes I wondered if they are even professional with a certificate. However, i liked their massage and scrub service that's included in the pedicure, so I still went. This last time I went to this nail salon, I requested for shellac nail and a manicurist put a wrong color after putting base coat. Everyone makes mistake, so that part is fine, but she just wiped off the color and tried to put the correct color without putting the base coat again, which could potentially make the shellac nail lasts less than usual due to the coat not sticking well without uncured base coat. If it doesn't last long, I can just do my nails by myself. I decided not to come back. I don't need unprofessional service. I'd rather pay a bit more to get a better quality or I'll do it myself. read more

Excellent service! The staff is very attentive and the place is super clean. This is my second time here and both times they were great. The first time I came with my 5 year old and they were great with her. They even did a special design on her toe. I had a manicure today and my hands were so dry--they used paraffin wax and now they are so soft. I also had a pedicure. My boyfriend scheduled an appointment at Redmond Nails Salon for my 20th birthday because he knows that I have loved this place in the past and have wanted to go get my nails done here for a while. When my mom and I arrived, we waited only a few minutes then were asked to take a seat in the pedicure chairs (she was getting a pedicure and I was getting a shellac manicure). One woman started working on my mom's toenails while I waited the full 45 minutes it took her to finish for someone else to start mine. This was quite stressful since we had plans we needed to get to after the appointment which started at 5 and didn't end until after 6:30 pm. I have never been in a nail salon for this long and could tell they were understaffed because only two people were on duty and a third left shortly after we arrived. On top of that, my mom had asked for a light pink polish and was surprised by the difference in color when it was applied to the first nail. We both made a comment about it but she decided to let it go and just go with the very vibrant hot pink color instead of the one she picked. Then, after another 30-40 minutes, once I was about to be finished, the other nail technician (who was doing my nails) felt my mom's nails which were very tacky and it turns out they had been painted with shellac! She had specifically asked for regular paint and even picked a color from the regular paint samples which would explain why the color was so different from what she had asked for. After that, instead of taking the polish off and starting over (which we didn't even have time for), the lady painted over the existing shellac and regular sparkle polish that was already on there with ANOTHER coat of bright pink shellac. She did not ask my mom what she wanted and completely ignored our requests to come back and get it fixed another day. Now my mom is upset with how her nails look and will have to pay to get the polish removed which she didn't even want in the first place. My nails look fine but since they were in such a rush I didn't get a top coat and so they look duller than they should as a result. One last thing I would like to mention is that this nail salon used to be one of my favorites because of the free paraffin wax option. They did not offer that this time which was very disappointing as well. Not that we would have had time for it anyways... Overall a disappointment and I will not be coming back here again. read more

Had an amazing time at this salon. I called and walked in an hour and half before closing but was still taken care of, I didn't feel rush and still was treated fairly. I had gotten Manicure with dip and Pedicure (basic) but the lady that had done my pedicure did an amazing job. If you're someone like me who has crusty feet no matter what the season is, I have cracked heals. But I was so happy and satisfied. I would definitely go back and hope to have the same lady who did my pedicure. The dip manicure only lasted me 2 weeks as I constantly wash my hands and doing dishes. This place is hidden away in a little strip mall in Redmond - I arrived as a "walk-in" for a pedicure and was delighted they were able to take me straight away. I had no expectations of what would happen to be honest, but this ended up being one of the best experiences in all the nail salons in Redmond. One of the best manicures I've had. The girl who helped me was very detailed and went back to catch things I wouldn't even catch. She was super efficient in time. I called and let them know I had 40 mins max( I was on my lunch break). I got my nails done yesterday I waited a day to make sure I didn't see any issues arise before I wrote a review. Always have shellac for finger nail and regular OPI for toe nail and until my finger nail grows longer and longer 2 week later or more than that that I have to be back. Great experience at this nail salon. I love the fact they took there time to give me quality service, tho they was super busy. I have a lot of patience so if I had to wait I don't mind. To me if they are taking there time to give the same service that was given me to others..it's well worth the wait. When u make your appointment just make sure u don't plan anything within a hour and a half. The shop is clean and relaxing. I love the vibe of the shop. Tech's are super nice. They are trying to accommodate everyone that comes in there door. For that they deserve respect, understanding and patience. I do prefer that the acrylic goes down closer to my cuticle to avoid needing a fill in a week, BUT the woman (I forgot to ask her name :/) who did my nails was wonderful and definitely knows her stuff. The shape is perfect and she expertly recommended a gold that compliments the deep red color I already chose. The staff were friendly, and the salon was very nice. Unfortunately, I am pretty dissatisfied with my shellac manicure. There were only 2 coats of color polish applied, with the first coat being extremely thin. So, my manicure is not completely opaque, and you can see through parts of each nail. Also, after 6 days, one of the nails' polish chipped off and is peeling at the edges, and a few other nails are ready to peel at the edges at. I'm used to all shellac manicures holding strong even after 2 weeks. I am disappointed. $34 after tip should last well longer than 1 week. read more

Went in to get this "new" SNS method of manicure that I'd read about, since shellac ends up ruining my nails after a couple rounds. Liked the reviews, and this seemed like a great option for my upcoming two-week road trip (I needed something that would be no-fuss and stay on). Glad I stopped in! So if you aren't familiar with the SNS procedure, they normally don't use UV light and it's a process that involves packing this powder nail polish on your nails -- almost reminiscent of acrylics in a way, without all the fuss. You end up with this thick layer of polish that stays on. This salon did their own hybrid version; at the end of the process -- which is quite lengthy, I was there an hour! -- she put a gel finish on my nails, which then sat under a UV light for a few minutes. Just so you're aware this isn't a completely pure SNS process (which shouldn't use any UV light). I was okay with that, since the whole thing was reasonably priced and I knew it would do the trick. I had a lovely lavender color that lasted until literally a day after I got back -- when they all popped off my nails easily! (My nails tend to be oily, though, and this is pretty normal). Of course, my nails also grew very long under the polish so now I have lots of natural length. Thanks for a great manicure and delivering me exactly what I would expect! The only tiny suggestion I'd make is to figure out how to get someone else to answer the phone, so that the technician doesn't keep stopping the process to answer calls/take down info; there was a gentleman working there who was partly chatting with folks, so I'm not sure why he didn't answer the phone -- but anyway, not a huge deal in the scheme of things. I will still go back next time I want a lasting SNS manicure! read more

I love this place! I've been to Redmond Nail Salon twice now and both times I've been so happy with my nails. The salon is spacious and clean, the ladies are really nice and the prices are very reasonable. I'm not really a talker and they were perfectly fine me keeping pretty quiet, but the lady who did my nails was lovely when I did talk and complimented me on my color choice and made sure to check in several times to see that I liked the shape and length of my nails. The first time I went I asked for a gold accent color and she suggested adding a glittery gold, which I ended up absolutely loving. My nails were shaped just how I wanted them and they had so many colors to choose from. I even got a complimentary paraffin treatment after. Definitely recommend this salon! Once it was complete, I asked about my manicure and the woman gave me an odd look and then went about her business. 15 minutes later, I asked another woman about my manicure and she waved at me as if to say "just a few minutes". Another 10 mins later, I walked up to her to ask how long it would be. She didn't make eye contact and finally told me it would be an additional 20 more minutes. At no point did anyone communicate this to me. There was no apology for making me wait half an hour after my pedicure for her to tell me it would be another 20 minutes.
