Not happy nails but disappointed nails. I went to get my nails done and they are THE WORST set I have ever gotten. My nail tech cut me multiple times with the unsanitary drill bits (I think I have an infection, my nail beds and skin where I was cut are red and inflamed), I asked for dip but she insisted I have to do gel, the nails them selves are VERY uneven even though I asked her to please even it out multiple times, and once nails were "done" she filled gel nail polish off my skin where she painted outside the nail. Safe to say I will never be going back.I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy they'll probably walk away with more than bad nails read more

Polish keeps flaking off less than 24 hours later. We noticed that they were adding acetone to an almost empty polish so we requested another color. It looks like all of their regular polishes are diluted because my polish started coming off the same night of my manicure. By the next day and less than 24 hours later, the polish has come off of 5 nails. They encourage gel nails yet regular polish should last more than a day. I went with my mom who returned less than a week later for a manicure that was flaking off, she was charged for a polish change. I received a manicure and pedicure. read more

If you want your manicure to last beyond 24 hours, don't come here. I went last Saturday afternoon. The technician asked if I wanted gel or regular, and I told her regular. She then tells me regular does not last long. I realize later it's because she's trying to get me to do gel. I have had regular manicures for years, and know they don't last as long as gel, but I certainly didn't know their regular manicures at Happy Nails are only 24 hour proof. The very next evening two started chipping, and by the next day, several had chipped. I was not doing anything that should cause a manicure to chip after such a short period. And here's the proof that it was the polish that was the issue and not me: I was able to scratch off the rest of the chipped nail polish in just a few minutes without having to use any remover. I just read a prior review that had the same problem, and said they were adding acetone to dilute the polish. What a total rip-off. read more

I'm sad to have to give this place a bad review. I went to this salon approximately a month ago and had a great experience with a nail technician named Jeff (that's what I believe he told me his name was, but I could have heard him wrong.) He was superb and was the reason I returned last week. If I was basing this review off of Jeff alone I would give it five stars-no questions asked. Unfortunately, I had a terrible second experience. I went in again last Thursday (7/30/15) to get a pedicure and gel manicure. The man who did my toes was nice and did an ok job. My toes chipped the second day, but the pedicure experience alone probably would warrant 3/4 stars. The woman who did my nails was awful. She was really rough with my hands and acted very disinterested in her work. She worked fast and sloppily. When she was "done" with my manicure I paid and left because I was on my way to the airport and didn't have time to complain and have them re-do my nails. I got out to my car and immediately took these pictures that somewhat show how horribly she did my nails. There was hardened clear gel all over my cuticles, the edges of my nails were uneven and rough, and the color was somewhat streaky. Would absolutely give her a 1 star. She left the biggest impact on my review of this place and I absolutely won't be returning to this salon, which is unfortunate because I really loved the manicure and pedicure I received from Jeff. read more

I was in Orlando for business and looking for a walk-in pedi place. I had a disasterous experience at Angel Nails (see review) a block away. Do yourself a favor and go Happy Nail instead! The place is clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable spa chairs. The instuments are sanitized (or appear to be) and the staff is friendly and thorough. I was very heppy with the service itself. They were happy to customize a package for me that wasn't on their menu. I didn't have to wait at all, but people who arrived after me waited about 20 minutes. This was a Sunday and they only had 4 people working. Prices are a little higher ($20 for plain, no-frills pedi), but I found it to be worth the price. I would go back, for sure. read more

They have amazing service and the massages are REAL massages that last longer than the normal 5 minutes. They accommodated us when we asked for some beverages and even went next door to grab them for us. The massage chairs are surprisingly good. Terrible customer service! I asked 3 times what their prices were when the man had told me to look at it, there was no sign anywhere to be found or posted finally he told me the price. I don't understand why it took 3 times of me asking to get the prices but I let it go. I asked for squared tapered nails and I understand that's probably not common to most people but it is a thing the man then stared speaking mandarin and making fun of me with another coworker for it. Little did they know I understood all they were saying.Then the man cut my not once but twice and just left my fingers bloody. My nails look horrible I accidentally moved when it was drying and the paint smeared understandable that was my fault but my nail tech caught an attitude with me for it. There was acrylic under my nails about 8 of them to where it couldn't separate my skin and the nails. I went back and the man said it's just glue (side note it was not) even if it was why are my nails and fingers glued together? Overall worst experience ever I do not recommend.
