I took a risk by ordering this strawberry matcha milk tea strictly off the (delicious looking) photo on their wall. Thankfully it wasn't just a "looks good for IG" drink. It actually delivers! Nice and layered right when it's served, almost don't even want to mix it (but you gotta mix to get that balanced sip). Creamy, slightly earthy from the matcha, and then the strawberry hits right on time. Real fruit flavor with a little texture, not syrupy. Matcha is clean and mellow, not bitter. Solid, refreshing drink. Not just for the visuals. Would get it again. Plus, their lil storefront is a perfect spot to sip n chill on a nice day. I finally gave this place a shot and don't regret it, but probably won't be rushing back. The fish quality was pretty good and I liked that the bowls were customizable and came with miso soup, but it didn't blow my mind for the cost ($50 for 2 bowls). There is very limited seating outside on the sidewalk, so we took it over to Fort Mason to sit on the field. There were at least 4 people working at once and they were very nice, I just don't know if I can justify coming back for the high price tag when there are other options like Basa in the city. read more

Yep, this place is as great as the reviews say. The fish is fresh (it's sliced and served like sashimi instead of cubed like regular poke) and the ingredients are great quality. The staff is also SO kind, even giving us samples of sauces when we couldn't decide what to get. Each poke comes with miso soup, which was some of the best miso soup in the city. This place is such a gem! They opened just a few weeks ago and it's a small shop that does poke bowls to go. There's a small bench outside where you can sit and enjoy your poke. Fish is so fresh since it's sashimi grade fish! They slice it in front of you and the portions are great too. Each poke bowl order comes with a side of miso soup. There's also an option to add ikura to your bowl which is my favorite! Boba drinks are also available and those are delicious too! Especially their matcha drinks. The owner was inside, personable and welcoming, and happily shared his recommendations. He also mentioned that they use fresh, sushi-grade fish in all their bowls, which instantly raised my expectations. The poke did not disappoint--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
