It was one of my top recommended spots in my Yelp search for Japanese food in Japantown. They had a LONG menu of sushi options plus hot entree and bento options as well. If you follow me, you'll know that I'm allergic to seafood. But my friend here got a rainbow roll and salmon avocado roll - both her go-to's at her regular spots back home. She appreciated that the fish was extremely fresh and flavorful on the rainbow roll, and that the inside ingredients did not over power the fish taste. Both my partner and my friend got Salmon/Avocado rolls, and enjoyed it. They appreciated the REAL crab in the rolls - which we don't get in Arizona often. In terms of the warm dishes, we all got miso soup either as a part of our bento boxes or on the side. The miso was cozy and flavorful, with the tofu being chopped really into very small cubes - which is how I prefer mine! The beef teriyaki and the chicken katsu were 10/10!!!! The beef was charred perfectly with a tasty, not-super-salty sauce. The Katsu was perfectly cooked with the most satisfying breading! Literally no notes!
