Considering there's not a lot of tables for patrons to sit, i think the ones they do have should be wiped down more routinely. Overall pretty mediocre for the price. Our daughter actually wanted a double scoop but only managed to get a single scoop of cotton candy because of the communication issues. With all the Hawaiian merchandise around us and the cool breeze from their fans, it felt like we're actually enjoying our treats in Hawaii. The nice lady told us "Halo Halo" meant "Mix Mix" literally, and that we're supposed to stir the dessert so that we could taste a bit of everything in a single bite. She's not wrong. The other day, I was in the MJ Market and noticed they offered frozen yogurt. The gentleman behind the cash register also ran the Sweet Retreat counter. He explained how he makes the fro-yo, and it would take a few minutes to make a 16-oz batch. Well, those few minutes turned into 15-minutes. That's because there wasn't a backup cashier. Everytime a customer wanted to pay for something, the gentleman had to stop and go help them. Now, I don't know if that hurt the quality of the fro-yo. I ordered a 16-oz fro-yo w/ strawberries added. Price $11.50. The container was overflowing, so it was probably more than 16-oz. How was the fro-yo? It could of used a double dose of strawberries. The strawberry flavor was somewhat mild. Usually flavored fro-yo is completely blended with a tartness. My fro-yo was more like a swirl, with pockets of tart yogurt and swirls of strawberry. It was just okay, but not worth $11.50. Would I return for frozen yogurt here? No thanks
