I have tried their gelatos a couple of times and they are really good . The service is great . You can ask them for a little sample before ordering your gelato. Located inside oakridge mall right next to children play area makes it very convenient to have a gelato and then go to the play area . Recently they introduced the Dubai strawberry chocolate which I haven't tried yet but it looked very tempting. They have a lot of variety to choose from so don't forget to try next time you are there
Dubai chocolate was delectable; the combination of strawberries, chocolate and crushed peanuts were on point. I also tried the lotus and pistachio gelato, but the lotus is my favorite out of the two. This location is located inside the mall, right next to Living Spaces and UFC Fit. Limited indoor seating. Good customer service.
The pistachio gelato was spectacular! I tried a couple samples: the mango was very fruity and fresh, cookies flavor was on the sweeter side. There were too many to try but I ended up with the pistachio California gelato that was verrrry delicious and smooth earthy nutty flavor. My bf got the lotus he said it tasted like biscoff cookie but creamy and sweet. The customer service was great no line at the mall surprisingly on a busy Sunday. The booth of the store was clean from what I can see from the outside which is great. Presentation is everything when you buy food/ice cream anywhere! 10/10 rating the sweet staff that was helpful that was working. We will come back again!
The portions are so worth it! The staff was very friendly and patient as I was sampling and raking forever to order. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw how much she put in the cup and realized we could have shared a medium cup. The flavors are not too strong but decent imo. It's a nice treat if you're tired from walking in the mall!

My husband had an flavor that combined almonds, caramel, and something else I cannot remember, but it is light brown/beige in color. He liked it, but I thought it had a strange aftertaste. I like his second flavor much more, a pomegranite & I think ricotta combo. So, it seems in future, I ought to stick with the flavors that include fruit.
My friend and I were really indecisive on what flavors to get so we asked for a lot of samples and the employee was super nice helping us figure out what we wanted and explaining the flavors to us. We ended up getting like four flavors and it was pretty yummy. This is a personal thing but I think I got too much gelato because by the time I got to my second flavor, the creaminess was getting a bit much for me. Next time, I'd just get one flavor or maybe take it home and eat it later ahahah.
Super underrated spot inside of Oakridge Shopping Center. It's not too busy and the workers are pretty quick about making your order. The dubai chocolate was fantastic - it's "not too sweet" and is crunchy too! Overall good taste and texture. There's a few tables and chairs in the mall next to the shop to eat your ice cream.
La Dolce Gelado is always a treat. Conveniently located in Oakridge Mall, it is a favorite stop for me and my mom. I've tried a few flavors but dark black chocolate is hands down my favorite. The service here tends to be a little on the slow side but I promise it is worth it. The storefront is bright and inviting. With white and green accents. We will continue to stop by whenever we are at the mall.
Love seeing a nice gelato place with great service! Staff was super friendly and walked me through my annoying questions about all of their flavors. Their chocolate based gelato are amazing, and their crepe has a great blend of texture and flavor. They had a new drink today - Mango Lemonade Energy, and it paired really well with their sweet treats!
At a prominently located Gelato shop in the mall, the display of various ice cream flavors looked incredibly tempting. I randomly chose the Panna Cotta with Blackberry flavor. The ice cream had a delicate and smooth texture, mixed with blackberry jam. The rich creamy aroma of the ice cream, combined with the sweet and tangy flavor of the blackberry jam, made the taste even more delightful. I'll definitely come back next time to try other flavors.
We were craving for some sweet crepes and so excited to find out this place in South SJ. It's inside Oakridge mall, across from Daiso. Servers were super nice and willing to let us taste whatever flavor we asked for. We got the banana and strawberry crepe with one scoop of chocolate ice cream. It came out $13 per crepe with tax and tip, which is not bad with the high SJ minimum wage (you know what I mean). I personally like my crepe batter to be lighter and crunchier. Their batter is kinda cakey which make it harder to be crunchy. On a side note, it would be great if you can find a table further from the children playground if you don't want to eat with children screaming as your BGM.

They have a wide selection of flavors you can choose and I felt that picking a small size (2 flavors) was good enough. The portion the team provides for the small selection was quite generous. The flavors I selected were mint chocolate chip and strawberry, both in which were delicious and refreshing. I think for a hot summer day, I would like to try the sour flavors next time.

Always a great place to get some ice cream after/while shopping at Oakridge. They have a lot to choose from, also love that you can get waffle and crepe with ice cream, such a nice combination. Great service too, since they allow you to taste which ever flavor you want before ordering. The setting and ambiance is odd, since you will have to sit at the tables provided smack in the middle of the shopping floor. Love this ice cream place. I'm craving for it as I write this. read more

I got a dubai chocolate cup from la dolce vita. The chocolate was hardened. We thought it was frozen but realized its not cold at all as I kept it out. It was soo hard and in a container that I couldn't eat. It was a 8oz jar. Upon checking the container we found the manufacturer date as 2/21 and today is june 30. Is it even legal to sell a product like that? It was 25$ plus tax. I have filed a complaint with Santa Clara Dept of env Health read more
2/21/2026 came here after lunch w friend Located inside the mall. The store decor was very cute. We were welcomed by the server and introduced to several ice cream flavors (tried it) and decided to go w the small cup which surprisingly includes two flavors. I picked the strawberry and tiramisu which honestly didn't match too well together. Strawberry was slightly bitter end and tiramisu was sweeter. But it was still very good ice cream. Stunning. The gelato here is simply stunning. Okay, okay... I'm not a gelato connoisseur, but dang, the gelato here was tasty! From the fruity guava to the panna cotta to their mascarpone to their tiramisu... the flavors really popped and were memorable. I think their other flavors are probably all pretty stand out as there is some creativity and depth of flavors with their choices. Although I would skip on the mint flavored gelato, I'd definitely want to try the others. It's inside the mall across the way from Andersen Bakery. But can't really say much else other than... it's in a mall. Service was nice. Helpful, nice, and was polite in providing our gelato on a cone. It is a bit pricey. A small (2 flavors either in a cup or a cone) will set you back $7. Furthermore, each scoop is rather meager. Not an American sized scoop, bur that's a good thing for your belly ;). read more
Love that Oakridge is upping its game and adding more stores, this dessert place is definitely a great addition! They offer samples and have so many specialty flavors. They do have the classic vanilla, mango, matcha, and pistachio type flavors, but also have Reese's, mascarpone with pomegranate, and more. My friend and I split two scoops of Ferrero Rocher and Lotus biscoff ice cream. So deliciously creamy, I'd love to try their crepes next time along with a scoop of their gelato. Service is friendly, and there's plenty of seating nearby that this store shares with a number of other bakeries and milk tea joints in the area. read more
La Dolce Vita is a small gelato shop that became a new addition to Oakridge mall back in 2023 summer. It's a great addition that complements the other stores around it like Andersen's bakery and Uncle Tetsu's Cheesecakes. They have a solid selection of gelato flavors, but it was disappointing to see an entire row emptied out. The service was quick with ordering since there wasn't a long line on a Sunday afternoon. The pricing is a bit steep for $3.50 per scoop. My mom, sister, and I decided to share a small with 2 flavors of Ferro Rocher and Almond Caramel Crunch. Both flavors were semi sweet, which got my mom's instant approval. The flavors were decadent, smooth, and creamy. A sweet treat to Sunday. read more
FOOD: We got the Banana Strawberry Nutella Crepe and it was okay. The batter was too cakey, so it didn't taste like a true crepe--basically like a super thin cake. SERVICE: Decent service. I ordered 2 of the same crepes, but they forgot the strawberries in one of them. However, they were apologetic and loaded a bunch of strawberries onto the plate that was missing the strawberries. LOCATION: Located inside Oakridge Mall between 99 Ranch and Nordstrom Rack. They have a few tables right in front, but you can also find more seats at the food court or near 99 Ranch. read more
Sweet tooth craving satisfied!!! Inside the Westfield Oakridge Mall near 99 Ranch. Such a cute little spot- classic decor with matte gold light fixtures. Walking up you're greeted with dozens of different delicious flavors of gelato - my heart ran to Banana Caramel, Coconut & Reese's! Of course we couldn't just stop there and got the freshly made Belgium waffle with fresh bananas and strawberry toppings. Total came to $21 for 3 different flavors greatly portioned. Service was good! Greeted instantly & wait time was about 7 mins for the waffle to be cooked and assembled. The perfect treat to end a Sunday! read more

I have been to their location at the Great Mall and had a similar experience. They put all the "goodies" in a heap on top of the ice cream on display which leads you to think that you are going to get a loaded scoop. However, the ice cream below is not as loaded with the toppings and it results in a let down. It's OK but not what I was expecting. read more

I like the gelato here. It's not too sweet and the portions are perfect for indulging but not overdoing your carb intake. I ordered a small size and chose their strawberry cream and cookie flavors. It was very tasty and I would love to come back and try a few others. Great customer service and the lady was kind enough to let me do a taste test (she gave me small spoonfuls) of their Taste of the Week and tiramisu flavors. read more

I am not a sweet tooth person usually. But after 3 hours of shopping at the mall I passed by la dolce vita ", what a beautiful place. The decore itself is mind blowing! I saw a guy walking away with a delicious plate topped with fruits. And I craved it immediately! I ordered the waffle with two scoops , topped with strawberries and bananas. The waffle was crispy and soft from the inside, the gelato was very rich and smooth, you could taste the actual ingredients (no artificial flavors!) . They top it with different chocolate syrups that tastes heavenly! You could taste a real Belgium chocolate not a cocoa and sugar blend. This place will change the game for the real gelato experience! I highly recommend them. Staff are very welcoming and helped me pick the flavors I liked. Will definitely come back and bring the whole family. read more

New gelato shop that offers rare flavors that's freshly made. Guava, blueberries, strawberries, pistachio, chocolate... you name it. We tried matcha, guava and sugar free pistachio and chose the later one. Love the guava, sweet, sour, fresh. Pistachio is still sweet surprisingly. Next time we'll try the super black chocolate and tiramisu. The line is not short but moving quite fast. So glad more great options like this are in this area. read more
