I usually only review restaurants, but had a great experience at Happy Smog check today. I had tried calling a place I've gone to the last few times down the road with no return call and tried stopping in three times. It was very disappointing. On my drive away, I saw a small sign on the sidewalk for a smog check and pulled in. I drove by a few other auto places to an open garage. A customer was just finishing and seemed happy--a good sign. He said he'd see the owner next time--another good sign. I asked how long it might take and how much. He told me $45 for my minivan and 10 minutes. He was very polite and efficient, and there were no hidden fees. It was cold and he invited me to sit in the van with my son while he worked, so we could keep warm. So nice. All in all, a great experience. I will be going back next time for sure. read more

Came here for a smog and had my 4 month old baby with me. Sweet older man encouraged me to stay in the backseat with my baby instead of getting off and waiting In the open area. I had the best possible experience here! I'm not one to get excited about a smog check place, but feel compelled to share about this one. I went on a Saturday. They were open (yay!). There was no wait (yay!). The gentleman who helped me (possibly the proprietor, not sure) was the most polite and courteous service provider I have had the pleasure of dealing with in a very long time. He was great. The entire transaction, from pulling up to leaving, took fifteen minutes tops. I had been procrastinating my smog check because it has always been a rather onerous task, so I was extra pleased with Happy Smog Check, the speed of the transaction, and the exquisite courtesy of the gentleman who helped me. read more

I have been taking our vehicles to this place for smog certificates for numerous years. He is always so helpful and points out little things that we need to repair now, so they don't become problems in the future. The owner has got to be the nicest person in the smog industry. I not a very good driver and he always will pull the vehicle into the garage for me and then backs it out afterwards. He even makes sure that I have my seatbelt on before I leave. I wish I could give him 10 stars. His pricing is better than any that I have seen. Please give him a try and I know you won't be disappointed. read more
