We don't have a lot of choices for Chinese food in Bristol. So unfortunately we take what we have however this is a fairly consistent very tasty restaurant. They are closed on Tuesdays. The go to dishes for our family are Sesame chicken, General Tso chicken & Beef with garlic sauce extra spicy. We always add crab Rangoon and fried pork potstickers with a large wonton soup on the side. The Rangoon is great! The staff is very helpful about allowing me to change the vegetables in my beef dish, they don't have the ability to give me the level of spice that I desire but I believe that is just because I have become immune to it, not their lack of talent. They also know that my family loves the fried crispy noodles so they always put extra in our bags for the kids. The food is always ready in a very timely manner! read more

Not impressed at all...more like 2 1/2 stars but I decided to round up to 3. The good: lo mein (actually, nothing great but it was the best thing we had. The sautéed vegetables, shrimp, crab stick and scallops in my Happy Family dish was good. The average: sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and egg roll. The bad: the beef and chicken in my Happy Family dish was not good. You know it's not good when you have to spit half of it out because of the fat content. Also, the bill came to $30 and the tax on that was over $3.00....so it's more than 10%? Can anyone explain that last part to me. Honestly, I've yet to find a good Chinese restaurant in the area and I won't be back to this one. Sakura Japanese blows this place away. read more

It was alright, nothing to write home about! Had sweet and sour chicken, did not care for the sauce.

No door, just a take out window, didn't try the food. They were closing at 6. It's in a strip shopping center.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. My boyfriend swore by it, so I had to give it a shot. The food was ready in ten minutes, so super quick. I ordered the House Rice and he ordered the plain Lo Mein. We get home and start to eat. Food was DELICIOUS...until my boyfriend finds a piece of plastic in his noodles. We love the hot and sour soup...the crab rangoons are THE BEST in the area. If you get the dumplings/potstickers...try them fried. So good.

Simply good food. I have tried others in Bristol area. I keep coming back to this place. Each dish has its own distinct taste, not plain salty dish. Went here because Sakura was closed. Big mistake!!! The sesame chicken is nasty! Should have guessed from the picture. It tastes as bad as the picture looked. Wasted $9 on fatty breaded chicken parts & flavorless rice. 2 pieces of broccoli. Oh I might add it was in a bowl that's a little tiny bit larger than my hand. I will not be making that mistake again I would not even give this one star. Should have known when I came in the door they were yelling at each other in Chinese and hollering and carrying on I should have walked out then but we were hungry. I love Happy Star on Euclid. The staff is so friendly & eager to help get your order right the first time. I had difficulty going thru door dash & cldnt get my final order to complete my purchase. I called the location & she was happy to take my order over the phone. It was a sizable order for delivery and arrived before the agreed delivery time. Food is decent, but I most definitely have had better (from Walmart no less). I'm not impressed with the fact that I was over charged when I ordered 2 lunch specials. I wasn't charged the lunch special price per their menu of $5.45. then they tried to charge the person behind me again for my food as well, after stating numerous times my order was complete. The language barrier was very bad that I gave up on the price difference. Then finding a dead Roach on the floor certainly was the highlight of eating in. Will never return. read more

This place is Egg Foo Yung paradise for me but I have to say lots of things on their menu are my favorites, Happy Family, Sweet and Sour Pork, Spring Rolls (the Egg Rolls not so much, mostly cabbage), great Shrimp Toast and the PuPu (appetizer) Platter. This place I think does more take-out than eat-in but there are a few tables in the minimal tacky-Chinese decor. But the food is the thing, go to Pier One if you want fancy decor. Just overall super pleased with their product, service, and value! First and foremost- Food tastes great! Communication can be a little bit of work, but they've never gotten my order wrong and I definitely ask for some off the menu substitutions. They recognized me today even though I hadn't been in for a couple months and that shows me they pay attention. Last but not least- Value is on point with things like Soup costing an extra $.25 and something like $3 for 8 crab rangoons. Just overall super happy customer here =J. read more
