I have been coming here for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. The owners are very friendly and always patient with my senior dog.

My poodle came out the groomers so happy. They also didn't charge extra since her hair is curly is a bonus. The grooming was okay, they had her hai bone straight which I'll probably mention next time I go in. I'm just thankful they were able to to bath, cut nails, and trim her hair. I sprayed her with water after so her curls could come back, too be fair she isn't the easiest to groom since she's still a hyper pup. read more

We went to Happy Tails Grooming this morning for the first time. We are very impressed! This is a family owned and operated business. Rocky liked Mr. Sung Yu immediately. Two things were especially appreciated by us: 1.Rocky looked really cute when he came out. My requests on how to trim him had been honored. He is a Cavalier King Charles and Poodle mix, and many groomers want to trim him like a poodle, and then he looks silly until it grows out! Mr. Yu trimmed his hair like a Cavapoo, which is what he is! 2. Another thing that sets Happy Tails apart is the amount of time I had to leave Rocky there. Rocky was done within an hour and a half! He is exhausted when he has to spend the whole day at the groomer. We would much rather have him home with us than confined in a cage at the groomer's. No time was wasted today! We are new fans of Happy Tails and will heartily recommend them! read more

This was my first time taking my Furbaby, Spade, here since we just moved to the Cinco Ranch area. I was a little nervous about his grooming experience at a new place because he's had some bad luck getting his nails clipped. I called 3 days ahead to make an appointment and was scheduled. The lady on the phone said I could explain what I wanted to have done when I arrived on the day of the appointment. I got there first thing and told the man what I wanted done to my Maltipoo which was the Teddy Bear cut and to leave his poof tail alone. I also added nail buffering and anal gland cleaning. The service took approximately an hour and a half before I received a call to come pick him up. When I answered, I asked if they had done everything I asked. The anal gland cleaning wasn't done and the man said it would be hard to do because they've already washed Spade. I said that I asked for yall to do that this AM. The man hung up and called me back later saying that he did the anal gland cleanse and was glad I said too because he was completely filled. I thanked him and went to go pick up my baby. They did EXACTLY what I asked grooming wise. He looked like a happy puffy bear. When I went to get him, he was excited and happy instead of the usual sad and angry demeanor. I love this place after the first try. I will definitely bring my furbaby back! read more

My pups used to be groomed at PetSmart, but fortunately we were not happy and were able to stumble upon this awesome salon! Last second I wanted my puppy to receive her first haircut. So I started calling places, each place just seemed rude and not happy to be at work. So I simply kept calling people until I ran into this place . They answered the phone very happy and willing to help. Once entering the salon the groomers was full smiles and ready to help with my puppy explaining that she may not allow them to get much done since it was her first time but to my surprise Nola was so comfortable she relaxed and let the groomers do their thing.i really appreciate feeling like I felt my fur baby in great hands. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I have gone to them 4 or 5 times now for my little chihuahua rescue's monthly nail trims and they are amazing! Not only are their appointments super fast (I've never been there longer than 10 minutes), but they are so sweet to my dog! I can hear them in the back talking to her so sweetly, telling her how cute and pretty she is as they distract her trimming her nails. I can not recommend them enough! read more

We started taking our dog to Happy Tails Grooming on Grand Parkway in Katy three years ago and have been going there ever since. Our dog has a very long, thick double coat, not the best for Houston summers. The owners are a delightful couple. They have groomed her beautifully every time we have gone there. They treat her patiently and gently which is the first "must" on our list for groomers. Their rates are reasonable. When bringing her in in the morning, she has never had to be there more than 3-4 hours for total grooming ( clipping including nails, bathing, ears, drying and teeth brushing when requested.) Their recent move to Mason Road in Katy is a little further for us to travel but well worth the professional care our dog receives. read more
