Their interview process was so professional; talked me through everything upfront so I knew what to expect. Facility: very clean! My dog never comes home "stinky" even after a few days of boarding and all-day play. Also appreciate the ability to check on my doggy via the live feed cameras. Staff: so far everyone I've interacted with has been very nice. I was a helicopter mom the first time I boarded my baby with them and, in addition to stalking the live camera feed (I have no shame), Devin was patient with me when I called and gave me a play by play on how my dog was doing. Summary: Camp Bow Wow for the win.

Henry, the owner, is incredibly accommodating and great at communicating. We have a few specific requirements that other groomers have ignored in the past, but they nail it every time. And you can tell they really care about the dogs--not just by with the attention to detail but the consideration for special circumstances like old and deaf dogs lol. We've used other mobile and big box store groomers in the past and it's all about turnaround, and my dog comes back wet and stressed, the special instructions ignored. That's never the case at Zoe's Pawfection. Other reviews completely contradict my experience and in all honesty seem suspicious.

I understand that groomers can be busy, but it would have been nice to been told that from the start that way I could have scheduled a different appointment. It was extremely disappointing to hear that even with a scheduled appointment (which I made a week in advance) that she would be locked up for over a couple minutes. My dog does not like being locked up, something that is painfully obvious if you even lock her up for a couple minutes. It feels like she was neglected the entire time she was there. Honestly if I had not called it I'm pretty sure she would have been locked up for longer. It was pretty disappointing to say the least.

When one our dogs had cancer and was on chemo she had to be separated from other dogs but the staff made sure she had extra cuddles and walks not to mention giving her the meds. Doggie day care is second to none! Lots of room to run and play outside with plenty of supervision. This is the only place I will take my dogs and cat.

My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. Zelda, our German shepherd/husky mix, boarded with Brian for nearly two weeks while we were on…read morevacation. Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

Mayde Creek's building is so fancy that I was convinced I was in the wrong place til I saw the receptionist. Tall ceilings, marble tile floors, columns outside, a mini courtyard, the whole shebang. Dr. Melody Palmer was very pleasant to chat with and said that I impressed her with my hedgehog husbandry knowledge (I then heard her go to the back and tell the vet techs back there that I knew my stuff, THEN go to the front and say the same thing- MAJOR EGO BOOST. This appointment was months ago at this point and I'm STILL preening from the compliment.) She made sure I knew everything I needed to know and was more than willing to give in depth explanations if needed. Everybody there was really friendly and since my Delilah was very curious and well behaved the appointment went by very very quickly. I did not wait long at all to begin even though I was 20 minutes early.
