I can't say enough wonderful things about Elena! Our experience with her has far exceeded my expectations. My dog, Ernie, has a disability and she has been very accommodating. First of all, she is an animal whisperer who just has such a calming energy that our shy cat, who usually hides when new people come over, felt instantly comfortable around her. He went right up to Elena to greet her and get pet the first time he met her -- which is almost unprecedented. Elena has a truly amazing way with dogs. My dog stayed with her for two weeks while I was out of town. The ladies with Happy Tails took care of our two kitties while we were away, coming over twice a day as needed, maintained the litter box, fed as requested, played with them, and we got an updated email with photos every time they came. Elena is absolutely wonderful. I recently went on vacation for 10 days and she took amazing care of my 2 cats and 2 chinchillas. Chinchillas are a unique animal and she took down notes on how to care for them. She will also give you updates to let you know how things are going.
