I have hired 4 movers in my lifetime and Happy Wheels Moving was hands down by far the worst. I also used Interstate Moving & Relocation Group Inc. to coordinate the move, who hired Happy Wheels Moving. I was told by Interstate that they are one of the largest moving companies which puts them in the position due to their size to only hire the very best carriers. If a carrier company does poorly, they never use them again. That was a lie. I can tell by many other reviews that this was not Interstate's 1st rodeo with poor service from Happy Wheels, and they continued to use them for my move in June 2025. I only received a pittance of compensation from my damage claim, which took forever to get processed. Here's some of the specifics of my issues with Happy Wheels. They were always late (by hours) on the pickup and delivery. They sent movers that only seemed motivated to get done as quickly as possible. They literally ran the whole time. They never took a single break. I never saw them drink any water. So IMO this made them weak, reckless and stressed out. Barely spoke English (Russian). There was damage to many doors and pieces of furniture from running into the doors. The company had unloaded and repacked my belongings at their Charlotte warehouse. That was not what I wanted. I wanted it brought directly to my new house. I had to wait a couple of weeks to get my belongings delivered. I know I was not gauranteed a drop off directly to the new house, but in my opinion, a lot of damage was done because of that unloading in Charlotte: crushed boxes, broken furniture, crushed suitcase. They actually snapped a dining room chair leg in half, put it back together with mover's tape, and delivered it like that without saying a word...acting like that is normal. They also delivered my washer without removing the shipping bolts. First time I used it, it almost projectiled the dryer stacked on top through the wall. I could go on, but you get the point. DON'T HIRE. RUN!

I want to share the extremely frustrating and disappointing experience we had with Interstate Moving & Relocation Group Inc. and the broker companies they used--Happy Wheels Moving Inc., Coast to Coast Express Inc., and VNS Auto Transport Inc. Our experience with all of these companies was deeply unsatisfactory. Our first shipment, which was picked up in Charlotte, NC on July 11, 2024, was scheduled to be delivered to Blaine, WA by August 1, 2024. The second shipment was expected by August 7, 2024. However, Happy Wheels Moving Inc. mishandled both shipments, which were delivered more than a month late--on September 6 and September 17, 2024, respectively. Shockingly, our belongings were kept in storage for nearly a month, despite the fact that I never requested storage. I had intentionally split our move into two shipments because it was essential to receive the first one by August 1 to help us settle into our new home. That plan was completely disrupted by the delays. To make matters worse, our personal items were packed with complete disregard for care or quality. I have photos that show the condition of our belongings upon arrival--damaged lampshades, a mattress folded in half (yes, folded), and an electric bike delivered with a jammed front wheel. We had to spend $272 to get the bike fixed at a local store. The bike technician confirmed that it was due to poor handling during the move--another out-of-pocket cost for us. I submitted a damage and loss claim totaling $935.57, which included missing items and extensive damage. Interstate informed me that Happy Wheels is responsible for the delivery and any related compensation. While I was told by a manager in August that I'd be eligible for compensation (at $30 per day for delayed delivery), they now claim that since I received $109.36 for damages, I'm not entitled to anything further. They also dismissed my claim about a missing art supply shelf, saying I should have reported it at the time of delivery. However, industry protocol allows several months to report damage or missing items, as long as it's within 9 months--so their reasoning is unacceptable. Several emails have been sent to Interstate and Happy Wheels requesting for compensation for the delayed delivery. Despite repeated follow-ups, Happy Wheels has yet to respond. All of this caused significant stress for me and my family--not only due to the long delays but also the lack of care, accountability, and communication from the companies involved. I firmly believe that Interstate Moving & Relocation Group Inc. should be held fully responsible. I contracted with them directly, and they chose the brokers. They must take accountability for their partners' failures and ensure customers receive the service they were promised. I hope this matter is taken seriously. I am requesting proper compensation for the delivery delays, damages, missing items, and the undue stress caused by this move. No one else should have to go through such an ordeal. Do not use this moving company!!! I read the reviews and thought my furniture and belongings were in good hands. I moved to the beach from Charlotte and had to put my things in storage. They destroyed my solid oak pedestal table that I've owned for over 35 years that was in perfect condition, broke the siderail for my king size bed, broke dishes because the movers were just dropping boxes marked fragile when they got to my new house. Every time I told them something went into the upstairs, they complained and had a bad attitude. After they left, they hounded me for a tip. They didn't get one. It was so bad that I just wanted them to leave.

From the moment I checked in, she made me feel like more than just a customer--she makes you feel like family. She was incredibly thorough and professional when walking me through the setup process, and I felt completely at ease leaving both my personal information and my belongings in her care. What really stood out, though, was how personal she made the experience. When I came back the very next day to drop off another load, she saw me in passing and called me by name. That level of attention and warmth is rare and speaks volumes. Miss Roslyn is kind, patient, and clearly takes pride in what she does. It's more than just a job to her, and it shows. I truly appreciate how she went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth and welcoming. Highly recommend Bee Safe Storage--and if you get to work with Miss Roslyn, you're in GREAT hands.

Two weeks into the second month and we were finally able to move our fifth wheel from the beach to this location. Upon arrival, there were so many vehicles parked all over the place and many, many double parked, that it we couldn't get our vehicle into our rented and paid for space!! . There was absolutely no way we could fit our unit in since they had allowed other customers to double park in one space sticking out into the common area where you would back your vehicle in to your spot. It was absolutely impossible for us to use our space. The property manager, Megan was very helpful and we managed to get out after trying for an hour to get our vehicle into the spot we had purchased. When we finally got out of the storage area we had nowhere to take our fifth wheel. We had traveled back from the beach with both our dog and our cat and they had been in the car for five hours! They completely left us in the lurch with nowhere to go! Megan understood that we would absolutely need to cancel our space since our fifth wheel would not fit. She also said that the general and/or district manager of the property was well aware that there were many vehicles parked all over and double parked, but because they paid more money, this practice was being allowed. When I asked for a refund of the whole month of November, I was told that no refund would be allowed, not even a partial refund would be given!!! This business is run terribly. The property is trashy, unkept and generally a mess and disorganized. They can't even bother to clear brush from behind each space or paint decent lines or numbers so you know where to park. This business is a disaster and I regret having dealt with them. I would absolutely go somewhere else if you can. Next stop, the Better Business Bureau! This disaster of a business needs to be reported and believe me I will do my best to make sure they know how angry we are.

We started at a very reasonable rate about 1 year ago; which was quickly increased by hundreds of dollars. They lure you in with a low rate and then issue increases every 6 months or less. We had to hire a moving company to move all of our items to another reputable facility with proper lighting and great customer service. To make matters worse. I needed to dispose of two bags of paper and a small bookcase. I located the trash bins and the gates were "wide open" upon my arrival. I placed the bags in the dumpster and left the small bookcase outside the dumpster as it was in "good condition". Imagine my surprise when we received a very unpleasant phone call, accusing us of leaving the trash gate open and we were labeled as "dumping" and assessed a $75.00 dumping fee. These folks are hungry for money and will do anything for it. STAY AWAY!!! Choose another facility. It's not worth the headache when there are many other options.
