Just don't expect a lifetime warranty as the days of the no questions asked lifetime replacement guarantees from Sears and Craftsman are clearly a relic of the last century. If you're an in-demand contractor you might consider professional tools that can take constant use and abuse... but you already knew that. I left the store very confused and somewhat annoyed because their policy about not be able to hold on to the purchased merchandise for an hour or two so I can send my driver with a pick up truck to retrieve my merchandise due to the fact that it wouldn't fit in my vehicle. As it turned out the compressor I wanted was out of stock and had to be ordered and PAID IN ADVANCE which is what I did. So my point is I have to pay for and wait for it to be shipped to the store which looks like it could be weeks which I'm fine with, but to hold on to my PAID FOR MERCHANDISE for an hour or two till my drive gets was impossible. Aside from that situation the manager and assistant manager were going to bring me a lift cart to help me bring my merchandise to the cash register but took their time doing it and kept we waiting while he started to help another customer. I think it's very inconsiderate when some is spending between $3,500 and $4,000 for one day's purchase in a place of business and is treated in such a fashion. I currently own a business that requires items sold at Harbor Freight but I'm seriously considering shopping elsewhere after this incident. I love Harbor Freight..... The toy store for the hands on guy or any guy or gal for that matter. Next to kitchen supply stores I love hardware stores and HF is one of my favorites. This location has just gone through a major overhaul as the selection,layout and pricing has changed for the better. No longer a haphazard Hodge podge of questionable tools and accessories of less than reputable provenance HF has upped it's game and now offers a pretty decent selection. I picked up some LED lamps, batteries, reinforced gun case and natural bristle paint brushes to use on the grill and left happy with my purchases and the price I paid. Give yourself some time while visiting as there are so much to take in and so much stuff you didn't know you needed. read more

Cashier named Maddie needs to fix her attitude when dealing with customers more concerned about standing there looking cute then helping a customer that's trynna buy a product. Went there for a 1/2 air impact gun that they supposedly had 3 of in stock she didn't want to open the cage to see if they were behind other boxes and the other lady said there was none in the back so when I decided to get an alternative option she decided to catch an attitude. Because she had to walk back and open the cage. Don't work some where if you're going to be miserable about working there simple, higher ups need to reevaluate their team read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I showed up at 7:59pm to grab tarps to move in the am and the guy wouldn't let me in because they close at 8 ... I begged him to let me in for 2 tarps and he said the register was shut down even though people were still checking out and shopping around. The guy was nasty and unprofessional. I don't usually have a reason to go into this store but when I do it's usually something I need specifically. Yes it is a "man store." It's spacious but has tools you dodnt know you needed and cheaper than other tool stores. It basically houses simple tools and professional for the do it yourselfer to the professional just starting out. From generators to hydraulic jacks etc. Also smaller tools for the weekend use and projects. There is also many odd ball tools that you rarely see and are hard to find in less you order them in a catalog. I actually like this store bc it is women friendly. The prices are very reasonable and comparable. They always have sales and run deals constantly, but don't forget coupons that are usually available. I only knew of this place since years and years of receiving their catalogs so it's nice to have an actual store to go to and see first hand what you need. Definitely worth a Check in. Some stores only carry certain things but ordering what you need is not a problem. read more

I'm not a power tool user, so I can't comment on that. I love flashlights, and there are some good, inexpensive LED ones here. You may even get one free if the coupons are in your favor. There are always interesting specials in the circular. Some prices seem so low that it's hard to see how they make a profit. There are lots of different automotive and electrical tools, as well as odds and ends and hardware. I found the one staffer I dealt with to be friendly and competent. If I used tools for my living, perhaps the quality might not satisfy me. As a casual user, they are ok. I know someone who was given a gift card for another of their locations and had no problem finding what to buy. Great idea if you're stumped for the person who has everything. Good place to browse and find stuff you may not have realized even existed. read more

Tools, tools and more tools as far as the eye can see. It's like walking into any wanna be home repair man's wet dream. I personally was in tool time heaven with all the possibilities. I gotta be honest, I've seen the Harbor Freight shop just off ole rt. 18 S. a number of times, but thought it was related to industrial products for contractors or actual rail freight, lol. To follow up since we're being honest, I'm not the greatest with a wrench not to mention power tools, but I aspire to be that guy. To build with hand and anvil that would be an accomplishment, like our forefathers as they crossed the great plains, I digress. Every possible tool known to man exists upon the row after row from ground to eye level. Not just a massive selection, but multiple size options per gadget. I couldn't help but grab large and small vice grips. I also picked up huge pliers. As you meander your way up and down the aisles your mind will wonder with the "ahh ha's and oh that's what that's used for or so that's what the name of that doo Hickey is." The smell of metal and plastic resonates upon entrance. You know your in a man's man's lair. Remember when Bug Bunny jumped into the air diving down into a pool of gold and loot ( one of my favorite Bugs cartoons when he found the genie and Daffy stole the lamp only to be shrunk into an ant size version, lol). This is my vision, but diving into tools and of course without injury. Now here's the kicker, everything is sold at a fraction of the normal price. Of course I wouldn't say this is the place for heavy duty repair men or women to shop. Yes, many items are not brand names, but for me and the average weekend fixer uppers purposes this is a gold mine. Horrendous service at harbor freight 5/3 in the early evening. Typical retail lazy in store representatives, in short I was told a product was not in stock then after complaining to the manager "Jim" the product magically appeared in the back storeroom. Good job by the store manager he was clearly accountable however his staff needs to be held to the same standards. Always good prices and if your product is clearly marked and displayed your good but if you need assistance with busted up looking product boxes or checking stock don't hold your breath. Great place and always has deals. You will receive lot of money saving mailers from this place. Compared to other similar store, this place cheaper but you may not find all what you need. For the standard items, quick place to get in and get out with what you need. Friendly staff. Can enter the site only from Rt 18S, so it not easily accessible. read more

i love this store. lol. its huge and the prices are right. we stopped in right after they opened the doors at 8am and the store was empty. i felt like a kid in a candy store. so many coolt ools everywhere. i really dont even use tools that often but every man wants to have tools, right? the store was spotless and the staff was attentive and cordial. zero complaints. i will definitely be visiting this location again in the future. read more

As far as the electric and power tools go, most of them aren't up to par with the bigger name brands --- with this being said just about all of their bigger ticket items here have extended warranty options that are very long (most of them lifetime) so you could just keep bringing them back again and again and they will replace it. Keep an eye out in the circulars because they always have coupons and discounts. read more

It says they close at 9pm but they actually close at 8pm when I arrived the sales person had no consideration I was carrying an infant and they refused to let me buy what I needed simply because i arrived at exactly 8pm. I saw there were people still in the store shopping. Despicable service. I can't describe with enough words how upset they made me feel. All for one important item I needed.. :( read more
