Saw some items mentioned on a youtube video, so i decided to check the local harbor freight. Staff was helpful and friendly. Found the items i was looking for, actually had a larger selection than what i saw in video, so it took me a min to choose. Definitely reasonably priced compared to Big Box stores. This is a great place for do-it-yourself people. The tools are reliable and prices to take home! I had a problem with my car and needed thin-walled lug to fit my wheel. Unfortunately, I did not find the size I needed, but I am going to keep the lug wrench socket set, bc I need it. It was only about $10, so no need for a refund. I will use them in the future. 1. Parking and surroundings: easy to drive in and out of the strip mall, wether in a car or pulling a trailer. 2. Customer service: Unfortunately one of the worst places to receive proper attention and help. After waiting in line for aproximate 10 minutes, Mark the manager went to a cash register and got on the phone while looking at the long line, some people out of no were just were getting in line before us. Once I got to the cashier (Mark the manager) I asked him why he didn't call next person in line while he saw what was happening. I reminded him that he was the manager, he just said that I had a choice, to "cash out my items or walk out the door" 3. Selection: I took the item pick up card that says "take to cashier" and after 5 more minutes they said they did not have the item. 4. Usually Harbor freight tools are usefull and have good prices, but it all depends if the item is available. 5 Conclusion: Not every Harbor freight Store employee acts in a disrectpectfull manner. Not every Harbor freight store that I have visited have given me a bad experience. Hopefully with employee training and development, enterprises will achieve succesfull growth and customer service satisfaction. In the meantime I'll avoid this store. read more

After receiving the grand opening ad for Harbor freight. I decided to go and pick up a stepstool which was on special for $19.99. This is something that I needed in my garage. After entering Harbor freight I was greeted by an employee named Pierce who was the supervisor. He immediately asked if he could help me. I stated I was looking for the step stool that was in the ad. He walked me over to the display. The stepstools were neatly display by the cash registers. Pierce then cashed me out while asking if there was anything else he could help me with. I always have a great experience at harbor Freight Tools because of the quality tools at a low price and knowledgeable staff. I gave 5 stars. read more

Love Love Love this place ! I have almost one of every tool thanks to this great low cost place ! Yes, I know they are craftsman tools with a life time warranty. But they get the job done for how often I use them. Don't forget to clip their freebie coupons and 20% off item coupons. I would give lower stars if I could. After driving 45 minutes to the store, I continued to wait for 30 minutes while the manager and his lackey tried to find the trailer I wanted, only to see other customers who came in after I get their stuff after me, all from the back room. I ended up getting impatient and left. The girl at the register was extremely polite and kept apologizing, and informing the manager and his lackey I was waiting, and they just didn't care. With the exception of the cashiers, the employees make me wonder how they found themselves out of their mother's birth canal. read more

Unimpressed. However, they did have a $30 paint sprayer; otherwise, I would have dropped my selections at the register and walked. Cashier, who was also a supervisor, couldn't lavish enough attention on the customer in front of me. I understand, the guy was purchasing $400 worth of merchandise. Then he had questions and then he filled out a credit card application. Bad enough - five people were checked out in the other line by the time she got to me, including two people who were still shopping when I got in line. However, once his transaction was concluded and he walked away, and I was putting my merchandise in front of her, she was so busy STILL flirting with him that she did not even acknowledge me or apologize for the wait. She told me that she must respect all customers - bwa ha ha ha. I didn't feel respected. Hoping the paint sprayer works for, at least one job. read more

Cashier Diana did not ask for phone number at checkout she seemed to demand it. When I told her that I did not want to give her my phone number that I just wanted to purchase the Hedge trimmer. She responded with "All you needed to say is no thank you". Next day, I decided I did not need the hedge trimmer since I only have to hedges. Came to find out that they can refused returns for any reason and on top of that they charge a 20% restock fee. Restock is the cost of doing business. Will not go back. read more

You'll usually get a "Hi" & "Welcome" as you enter this store. Not too many top quality tools, but definitely not top prices. Bring along an online coupon or one from a flyer; you can save a good deal of $$ that way. Returns are easy. The store is clean. Staff, though, is not overly helpful. No one has ever asked me if I needed help even though at times I have wandered the store aimlessly wishing I were in a more female-oriented establishment. I have much better luck getting male customers to assist me. (Men shopping in tool stores generally love giving directions & advice to women; it's rather cute.) Parking is fine now that Winn Dixie has closed. For the novice doing basic home repairs, this hardware store is fast, convenient & not too costly. If it's a high selection of top quality tools you want, along w/ help from staff, there are better businesses in the area. read more

What can I say? Tools, cheap prices, the weekly 20% coupon, and nearly everything you need for basic handyman work or tinkering. Sure, it's not top notch quality and if you're doing a lot of heavy duty work, you'll want to go name brand. I wouldn't go to Harbor Freight looking for a miter saw. For the occasionally need and then putting back in the garage though, it's perfect. read more

In and out service! It wasn't that hard to find what I needed but at the same time it kind of was. The only reason I didn't like my visit at Harbor Freight was nobody asked me if I needed help. I know that might sound petty to some of you but if I don't come into a specialized type of store knowing exactly what I need or where to find it then I need help. I saw one associate busy running around like a chicken with her head cut off but she was almost looking as if she wasn't looking to help anybody like she was stressed out trying to just do her job. But I'm not going to be salty in this review because that's not what you all came here for. What really got me was the line was super long and this nice blonde haired girl came out of nowhere and rang me up and the guy in front of me super fast and efficient and got all my information correct put me in the system and kept it moving. I'm a fan of Tim the Tool Man! I love Harbor Freight! Went to them in Illinois for many years. Then Ocala. Was in Hog Heaven when G-ville got a Harbor Freight. Yes, their products are low quality. But most of us only use the average specialty tool once or twice. When it is cheaper and more convienant than renting, what's not to love? The employees are knowledgable and helpful! The displays are not overcrowded and things are in reach. If I can't find an advertised item I ask and it appears in minutes. When 'Made in America" lifetime items sold by snobs who don't know a cresent wrench from plasma TV 's are no longer made in USA why not buy for less when the product will most likely last my lifetime? read more

If you need a tool for a home improvement project they are most likely to have it here. They have thousands of items at good prices. Some of the stuff is not the highest quality, but it is good enough for around the house. The often have flyers in the Sunday paper with some really good coupons. You can also go to their website and download coupons. The down side is that it is often crowded on the weekends and sometimes it is hard to find someone to help you. read more

I could walk around this place for hours just jaw dropped at all the cool man stuff they have crammed into one store. And the prices are unbelievable also. I furniture movers for cheaper then I could rent them from U-Haul. The place is just awesome. The staff is friendly enough. The tools are cheap both in cost and quality. Sometimes that's all you need though. Like a small tool kit to throw in your boat. If it gets soaked and rusts, so what? !? It's harbor freight. This place is good. Tools are affordable they break and you get a new one. Prices are more than affordable. And there's always some good stuff on sale.
