2023 Returning with my BIL & SIL we had great seats with a great view and great food and great service. I ordered the Seared Fresh Tuna boom boom sauce, red chili & cucumber wasabi aioli & served medium rare, served with mash & vegetables My wife had Black N Bleu Salmon Salad blackened salmon, bleu cheese crumbles atop a spring mix garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette My BIL had the Cajun Pan Seared Salmon seared Atlantic salmon, served with mash & vegetables And my SIL ordered the Fried Jumbo Shrimp Dinner 8 gulf shrimp served with cocktail sauce, served with mash & vegetables The Skye Bar offers some unique food in a unique setting they do have some interesting cocktails like a peachy old fashion.

I love this place with all my heart! I'll start with ambiance - it's a great rooftop that often has the best live music! I could come here for a single drink and be so content. the crushes are incredible! my personal favorite is the key lime crush it's perfect without being too sweet and I'm obsessed with it! I've also had grapefruit & orange and are both great too. the crab dip is actually incredible I was so impressed - this quality is something I'd expect from a formal restaurant! also love the firecracker shrimp and the nachos were fun too!

Really good crushes (authentic tasting) live music & the nachos were pretty good (need a better ratio for chips to toppings for the nachos)!! Crab dip was phenomenal (need more bread) & shrimp was amazing with the sauce! Service is fast and always fun live music!

Due to Covid my party was looking for something outdoors, family friendly and of course with seafood. Came here towards the end of the summer and seen they had a rooftop option. No reservations were needed. We walked up to the 3rd floor where the rooftop was. The other floors were empty. Don't think it's wheelchair accessible as we had to carry a stroller up. A host quickly greeted and sat us. What appeared to be the manager/owner also greeted us and checked in frequently with us and all other guests. The kitchen area was open in which you could see meals being prepared. The chefs as well were superb! One was extremely friendly with our kids making the experience that much better. We ordered cheesesteak nachos, skye lobster Mac and cheese, crab dip, crab cake sandwich and little stars good fingers. My skye lobster's presentation was nice. The taste even better! We all enjoyed our meals. Although we sat near the street view, we could still see the sunset. The live music was the great touch to a lovely dinner.

$26 1 1/4 lb lobster! With a side of loaded mashed potatoes. Yummmm

Equal parts package store and legendary deli counter, Anthony's is an iconic OCMD staple that has perfected the art of beach lunches. History & Ownership Year Opened: The original property traces back to right after WWII as a drive-up stand and fried chicken carryout. The family bought the business in 1965, gradually expanding to add wine in 1970 and merging the store concept in 1982. The Full Deli Debut: In 1987, Anthony's officially expanded into a full-scale deli, which quickly became as famous as its liquor selection. Ownership: Operated as a beloved family-owned business for over 55 years. Awards & Local Acclaim Anthony's frequently earns local accolades--including Best Subs and Best Carryout honors--thanks to its commitment to quality. Rather than skimping on fillings, they load their sandwiches with premium Boar's Head and Citterio meats, freshly sliced cheeses, and house-made salads. The Sandwiches & Fan Favorites Anthony's sandwiches are renowned for their staggering portions. The 12-inch hoagies are packed with over a half-pound of meat and cheese on freshly baked rolls. The Shrimper: A massive sub loaded with house-made Maryland-style shrimp salad, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The Nautilus: A gourmet Italian sub layered with mortadella (with pistachio), prosciutto, sopressata, and provolone. House-Cooked Roast Beef: Tender, rare roast beef sliced thin--a staple that locals swear by. The Flagship: The Crown Jewel If you only order one sub on your trip, make it The Flagship. The Flagship Sub Over 1/2 lb of Genoa salami, capicola ham, pepper ham, and sharp provolone cheese. Shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onions, and spicy hot peppers. Dressed with olive oil, red wine vinegar, and oregano on a 12" freshly baked hoagie roll. It's the quintessential Italian cold-cut sub--salty, tangy, slightly spicy, and sturdy enough to hold up in your beach cooler all afternoon. Pro Tip for Beachgoers When heading to the beach or driving back home, ask the deli staff to assemble your sandwich "semi-deconstructed" (with oil, vinegar, and tomatoes on the side). Your roll won't get soggy, making it taste just as fresh hours later.

We were set on getting the salmon and the swordfish dishes which we did, and it did not disappoint! They were the most delicious dishes I had experienced in a long time. I asked about the seasoning on the salmon and the waitress, who was fabulous, said it was Moroccan. I loved the hint of cinnamon but according to the Moroccan spice I looked at on the web, it is a combination of numerous spices which amounts to a delicious combination of flavors. Both dishes were paired perfectly with their sides and sauces. I have never left a review about a restaurant before. This will be one of my few unforgettable meals. If dining inside, bring a sweater. They don't skimp on their air-conditioning. It was a cool night so we ate outside which was nice, but what made it nicer was our wonderful waitress, Fanika(?), who had the most awesome, helpful, outgoing personality that makes a dining experience that much better. And she was right about the coconut espresso martini. It was delicious! She also mentioned that the menus are seasonal so I am looking forward to returning to Hooked when I'm back in OC and trying other meals. I'm hooked!!

We had lots of questions about most of the items as we have never had any Turkish foods before. VERY HELPFUL! Explained everything with great detail and was more than happy to do so. We decided on the Turkish bagel (Simit) and the Ginger Lime Cane beverage along with two different kinds of baklava! One walnut and one pistachio. The drink was very refreshing as the only ingredients were lime, ginger root, and pure sugar cane! All pressed in a special machine. It was sweet but that's pure sugar cane for you! The simit was toasted up and tasted like sesame seed goodness! The baklava was delicious and sticky gooeyness. I enjoyed the walnut more than the traditional pistachio. Though it too was yummy! So many other Turkish goodies to try! She also had other Turkish desserts including the mini cakes and pastries. We will be back as this place has earned a spot on my GO TO list for Ocean City.

The Greek salad and Margherita pizza is our go to, but we have had their cheesesteak subs, lasagna, and their various assortments of desserts. Ripieno's special-brew chai iced tea is something else that has always kept us coming back. That is until today. While the pizza and salad were still very good, they weren't as outstanding as they have been in the past. Customer service is not the same as it once was. When we ordered the chai tea, this evening, no orange and lemon slices were offered. As we were dining outside, I walked in to ask if they had orange and lemon slices for the iced-tea available. The cashier first seemed as though he didn't see me, and then when i caught his attention and asked about the slices of orange and lemon for the tea, he looked at me as if he didn't not know what I was talking about. I looked at the girl behind the counter that walked over with the salad dressing that had not been delivered with our salads and asked her about the fruit. She looked confused as well and said they didn't have any. The iced-tea on its own is very good, but the slices of orange and lemon really make it great! Back to the food...when our pizza was brought to the table, the gentleman that delivered it, (I think he may have been attending the wood-fire oven) threw our paper plates on the table. Next came the Greek salads. We were short two sets of silverware which was noticed by the second server. She said she would return with silverware, but didn't. So, I went back inside and asked for the two sets of silverware we needed. I was asked if I wanted plastic. I responded that I would prefer metal silverware. The girl disappeared and returned several minutes later with the silverware. I realize it is the busy season, but the restaurant was not busy. We've been during the busy season and in the off season and have always had wonderful experiences. I am truly hoping that this was a one-time thing, and that Ripieno's will return to the same familiar place we used to love to go.
