My group of friends and I chose to pick up lunch from this eatery with the most basic and forgettable of names because their extensive menu would cater to each one of our diverse palates. The very long menu of pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast dishes that contained Italian, Mexican, Middle Eastern dishes popularized in the American consciousness like tacos, falafel, and caprese salad all but guaranteed there would be something for everyone. Menus that run this long usually mean a place would be a jack of all trades and master of none, but I was so pleasantly surprised that the food wasn't mediocre. It was actually....really good. I really felt like I was taking a gamble ordering fish tacos at a place that seemed to serve everything under the sun, but I trusted in the positive Yelp reviews, and am happy to report crowdsourcing still works. I even ate the tacos long after they cooled down on the drive home and they held up quite well, with fresh fish and flavorful toppings. As a pizza elitist from NY, I also had low expectations of the pizza from here, but one bite of their pizza with calabrian chili peppers, fresh mozzarella, and basil, and I was totally sold. This was delicious pizza. I found their coffee and turmeric latte to be pretty solid, although quite expensive at almost 6 bucks a cup. In fact everything on the menu felt somewhat pricey, but I'm more than willing to cough up a few extra bucks for food as well made as it is here. read more

We were in Sag Harbor on a small business project last Saturday. It was a little early to meet a client so I looked for s place to have breakfast. Seemed to be s little confusion on this place. At first it came up as "Espresso's Italian Market. Well we went there anyway and it turned out to be the Harbor Market. Seems they took over the building about Two years ago. Ok we'll order breakfast. My wife had an omelette with cheese, oh the cheese was a $1.00 add on. I had an egg white omelette. Wasn't on the menu but they said no problem they can make it. Also coffee. Self serve coffee bar. Seems like a new trend, but apparently you can't get a refill, according to my wife anyway. Ok so this place is set in a residential neighborhood so I guess you have to know about it or just happen upon it. It's pretty large but it's mostly kitchen area. Looks like they do a lot of catering. Also, looks like they sell all natural and healthy products. I guess that's good. So I am called for our food. Packaged in plastic containers very nicely . The bill. - $30. Seems a little steep to me, but I guess this is the Hamptons. Not sure if I'll be back but you should try it and see if you agree with me. I'd love to know. read more

While a lot of HM's food is awesome - the chicken soup and breakfast tortilla, for example, I ordered their grilled cheese sandwich on a chilly day, hoping for a sandwich and soup special, like Carissas offers. HM's grilled cheese is a tiny little sandwich (more like a half sandwich) on gluten free bread (!) only. The cheese tastes like Velveeta or Cheese Whiz! Just awful. I had to ask to grill again, because the bread was warmed on the griddle instead of grilled. While there are so many good choices - stay away from the grilled cheese. Question: why serve a grilled cheese sandwich on gluten free bread when it comes with fries, which have most likely been cross-contaminated with foods containing gluten when they fried? Makes no sense. read more

Chef Melissa take a bow! Food was a refreshing change for the Hamptons. Creative, Interesting and Soooo Good. When different flavors bounce off your tongue, you know there's a Culinary Genius in the Kitchen. Chicken Shawarma incredible! Lebneh, Muhammara, Merguez meatballs and grilled octopus(tender and tasty) were great starters. Little Gem salad tasted like it was just picked off the local farm (they do have a garden). There are a ton of cute items they sell on top of the food selection so you are sure to find great gifts here as well. As for the food, it is a bit overpriced for the offerings. While the sandwiches are fairly average price, the other a la carte items are kinda high. I tried a salad and even though it was tasty, I wouldn't be included to go back just for that. read more

Why is this place so far from Babylon?! We reserved tickets to the Children's Museum of the East End. If you've ever been, you know there isn't much to eat there unless you heart vending machine snacks. Which, who doesn't - but that isn't lunch my Yelpy friends. I pulled up the Yelp app to search and found Harbor Market. I am sure this place is hoping in the summer. Inside is totally our vibe - rustic + modern, open kitchen. There isn't ample seating, just a few tables and one table which can seat two separate parties. We ordered the fish tacos, egg omelette, iced tea and a soy latte. The latte was delicious - totally awesome coffee and not sweetened, so just needed a touch of the sugar in the raw. The omelette was cooked well and came with a nice fruit salad. The fish tacos were also delicious, but they weren't that big. For $12, three small tacos was a bit disappointing. But the quality was great. I also appreciated that they put the pico on the side, and without me asking to they also placed the green sauce on the side because it has onions in it. If you know me, you know how I feel about onions! We gobbled this up and between the three of us, needed more food. Hubs got another egg dish and I got a small pizzette. The pizette was okay, was the extra bit I needed to fill me up. Hubs loved his egg dish. My advice - come here for the coffee and more breakfast-y items. You'll leave feeling happy and full. I love that they source locally and use organic. Even the coffee is organic! And if you were wondering, we got a second latte for the road because it was just that good. If you find your way out in Sag Harbor, this place is a gem. I will definitely return the next time we come to the museum, or if we are here for another reason. read more

Ordered a Italian sandwich and homemade cookies. The sandwich would've been amazing if they didn't give me stale bread was very disappointed that the bread was not fresh not sure because of COVID-19 that they had to put it in the refrigerator but the bread felt old. Was very disappointed . But their homemade cookies were phenomenal not sure who the baker is but was blown away by how amazing they were. Came here on our weekend visit to the South Fork and we were looking for someplace to eat that wasn't too expensive, but also had good quality food. My husband settled on the housemade corn tortilla and I got the grilled cheese. We were able to find parking quickly outside and find seating in the back, but be aware that there isn't a huge seating area. While waiting to order, I perused their baked goods (and honestly wanted to buy some), but after having purchased a bunch of cupcakes from Sag Harbor Baking Co., I ended up, regretfully, passing, but I will not make that mistake next time. We will definitely be back at this location again as the food is pretty good, but my grilled cheese was definitely on the greasier side than I prefer. The only other reason to dock a star is that the staff seems pretty cranky, a lot. Otherwise this is your go to in Sag and for prepared food only second to Cavaniolas, which is twice the price ...by which I mean twice already silly pricing. We ordered the crab cakes and vongole (clam) pizza and the crab cake was about as good as I've ever had.. and I'm living in New England. The vongole pizza.... seriously lacked sauce. It was mediocre at best. I think I would ask for some white sauce to be added, if I were you. Otherwise, cute place. Parking is easy considering it's off the main area. And really really nice staff. I have been going to Harbor Market for many years. It is certainly not a disappointment. It's the perfect location for a quick lunch, or any other occasion. The menu offers a wide variety of different types of food and beverages. The decor on the interior is outstanding. The way that they handled COVID is phenomenal. 1 star is lost due to the mini pizzas sometimes being raw in the middle. However, this should not stop you from attending this fabulous establishment. There is also a wonderful variety of different "market" items for sale. I would highly recommend the macaroni and cheese, the vegetarian chili, the normal sized pizzas, and pretty much everything on the menu. Definitely a must for anyone in Sag Harbor. read more

Quality is going down.... I live out here year round and get take out at the market since it opened. Best is breakfast and pizza on weekends but lately the arugula mushroom pizza was awful due to huge amounts of salt piled on top. Also the falafel bowl started to give me stomach ache so I no longer get it. Something changed in ingredients. Coffee used to be strong and amazing but last few times it was watery like a tea and acidy so not worth the high price. Quality is going down and thats too bad because prices are still high. I leave two stars only because the staff is incredibly kind and friendly and hopefully well treated by management for their hard work! Love the food here every time. Harbor Market has a nice modern environment, and all of the food options are amazing. I usually order one of the daily specials, and whatever I get, I know it will always be exceptionally delicious! The pizzas are really good, I also got a chili from the daily special once that was fantastic. Another of my favorites are the fish tacos. Employees are also very friendly.
