They were served with fresh grated horseradish which I rarely see. There were also a few sauces to try with the oysters if you want to get a little more variety We ordered Garlic Prawns in a tomato sauce, Steamed Clams in a wine sauce, and a ton of garlic bread to dip. I could have just eaten that and been happy. Fried Oysters are massive and come fully loaded with sauce and garnish Po-boys are almost like a half Po-Boy on that same garlic bread 1 lb bucket of crab - snow crab served with butter - we even dipped this in the tomato and wine sauces This was just a fun experience using our hands and making our way through the pile of seafood delivered to us. First time in Canada and my friends and I found this really nice restaurant! We were interested in getting oysters for lunch and they had HH oysters and buckets of crab legs on Monday! It wasn't super busy so everything came out within 10 minutes so service is really fast. We were seated outside for a party of 7! Everything was so fresh and delicious. Stopped in for their daytime happy hour. The mussels are good but the portions are on the smaller side. The oysters on the other hand where huge, but a bit more on the milky side. The fries are super solid (hard to go wrong here) and the shrimp Poboy was the surprise stand out. I would skip the shellfish and just get more poboys. Service was fine, nothibh more nothing less. We came here around 12:30pm, the guy from the bar gave us the menu and the water, then walked away, we asked for a table outside, he said it was not available, would give it to us when it became available, we sat inside for 15 mins waiting, a party from outside left, the other waiter gave our table to someone else without checking to see whether we were waiting, the guy at the bar has a big time attitude, it became annoying and rude, after 30 mins of waiting with no service, we decided to get up and leave. The server tended to us immediately and was very helpful in giving recommendations. He also ensured to do last call for happy hour which is quite rare as I find most places would prefer for you to miss the happy hour specials. However, when it comes to the food it is "bar quality" which I define as it's better to be there for the drinks rather than the food. The nice part about this place are the extremely fresh oysters of course and that they are only $2 for the daily oyster during happy hour. The shrimp po boys could use cajun flavouring as they are quite basic. Whereas the cajun broth mussels are not what I would define as cajun as they added oregano to it...enough said. It was my first time coming here. My brother recommended this place for fresh oysters. They have a fantastic happy hour, with oysters or about $2 a pop. My brother and I each ordered a dozen, and chowed down. We also ordered some white wine and garlic white wine clams. The wine was good and the clams were very tasty. He came with a piece of toasted bread, which we took to dunk in the broth. Yum! The next time I'm back in town, I will definitely be heading here for another dozen of fresh oysters. There are two really cool, young guys who run the joint. They are also servers, which is very impressive because this place can get pretty busy and quickly. Amongst the hair hour menu we ordered the crisp fried oyster, steamed mussels on white wine sauce, and shrimp po boys. And we added a lobster roll as well. The fried oyster was one of my favourite. The poster was much larger than I expected and fried nicely. For the mussels it was cooked really well but I would choose a different sauce next time as it was slightly too lemony in the flavour. We had PEI oysters and west coast oysters to share. Both were delicious and distinctive. I had halibut and fries, and it was week bettered. The fish was flaky and was excellent. Party of 6, no reservations allowed for happy hour, which is understandable. We were going to go down the street to grab another table but the host said a table was almost ready to leave. We ended up waiting an hour because that party ended up chatting longer before settling the bill. Not the restaurant 's fault but it deserves mentioning. Waiter was a bit rough, slamming our condiment tray onto the table. 3 out of 6 plates still has visible food residue on them and had to be exchanged. There were no apologies. Food and beverage options were just alright. Nothing special and limited options. Just one variety of oyster on special for $2. The rest of the oysters were $4/each, pretty expensive given that it's pretty casual, and not fine dining or Michelin starred or anything. The real kicker is when they automatically charged us 20% tip on top of liquor taxes, but we only noticed this when we saw the bill (the waiter didn't tell us). So when the payment machine came, the waiter allowed the tip function to still come up on the machine, and he didn't say anything, so if we weren't looking, they would have allowed us to tip on top of the tip they already charged us! We dropped in on an early Monday afternoon (around 3:30pm) and put our names down on the waitlist. Took about 15 minutes to get seated. Service is friendly and the waiters were all very chill. Overheard the main shucker saying he's been doing it for over 10 years. There's a regular menu but our focus was mainly on the happy hour menu (11:00am to 5:00pm everyday). - Lobster poutine ($19.00) - we asked for the poutine on the side, which kept the fries crisp. Interestingly, our waiter compared these to Costco fries. You get about three small chunks of lobster. The "poutine" was one of the better versions I've had in the city so far. Not too heavy and a couple chunks of cheese. - Happy hour clams ($14.00) - opted for the red wine 'nduja. The clams came with one piece of buttered garlic toast. Wine is good with what they have on HH and oysters are amazing paired together! It's been getting harder and harder to find a sweet oyster happy hour spot, thanks inflation and the red tide for $2 oysters, but Harbour does a pretty good job. Food was decent, definitely go for their lobster poutine! It's a cool little spot with great service. Only caveat, if you see it that way, is that you can only order 1 dozen fresh oysters at a time! There wasn't enough seats for the five of us as we were so cramped we went from patio to indoor which was too loud for us to talk and just as cramped. I wish they could've moved another table for us but they didn't. Oysters were $3.00 and the only highlight of my meal. One of my gfs and I were curious as to what the crab mac and cheese would taste like and now we understand why nobody orders it or takes a pic. It's pretty bad. We took advantage of their $1.50 oysters, happy hour mussels in white wine and garlic, and topped it off with their fried oysters.
