Where do I start? Michael just left our house and to be honest he was beyond fantastic. We originally had him come out to do an estimate for our condo. He was polite and friendly and told us what he recommended we do. We later reached out to get the work scheduled and I could not talk more about how professional he is. Of the plumbers I've needed to hire so far, these guys have the best price, service, and response time. After failing at our DIY solutions and spending 3 gallons of mainline cleaner, they were able to send someone over within an hour and a half. I kept meticulous records of the last time we needed a toilet removal, snake, and camera inspection - and was surprised that these guys offered the same services but beat the price of the previous plumbers from 7 years ago (after all the rampant inflation we've had, I was prepared to pay more). Their care was the best as well. I was really touched by how much care Michael took navigating our house, laying out necessary tarps and materials to make sure everything was protected. I had an issue with inadequate water flow a day or so after I had hired another company to repair a hot-water slab leak. Didn't end of using they're service but let me tell you how professional they are . True to time response rate plus received a phone call to better explain . I'm an apartment renter in san gabriel with old pipes and wanted an RO system . Was advised to be wearing as some filtration systems installation can be flimsy risking leakage. I recently bought a home, and inspected the backyard sewer pipe during the inspection period with a separate firm (to remain unnamed). I was told the sewer pipe is misaligned, and that it would cost be $6,700 to fix the problem - and that I should not wait to solve it, otherwise it may become a $20,000 problem. Just from going through the inspection process, and knowing that I should always get a second opinion (after being screwed over many times in my past), I decided to call another company for a quote. After purchasing the home, I called Ralph at Hard Hat Rooter, and asked if he'd be willing to come out to provide a second opinion quote. He said sure thing, and came by the very next day. He was very honest - he used his sewer scope for the assessment, and told us that it's a 50/50 chance that the issue may become a big deal down the line - but that it's NOT a major problem now. He said if it were his home, he'd wait and see, and maybe in 1-2 years we should call him to come back and check it. Ralph just saved us $6,700 - which I know we may need to pay him down the line to fix the problem, BUT it's a relief that I don't have to pay that NOW (especially with all of the other costs we are incurring with the home). Last month, we contacted Hard Hat Rooter and Plumbing to inspect a property for us as we were on Escrow with a tight inspection contingency. They accommodated our request on short notice. Michael, the technician, found an active leak in the garage ceiling that would've cost at least $3000 to fix among other repairs needed. He also informed us that the situation might be worse once he opens up that ceiling - the leak could be worse, there could be mold, etc. Thanks to his diagnosis and report, we were able to bring this up to the seller, who was unwilling to meet us halfway and decided to cancel the sale instead. To this day, that property is still on the market which is very weird since every property is getting snatched up pretty fast nowadays. We were very happy to have avoided the headache! We're on Escrow for a different property now (which we love so much more than the last one, btw) and of course, we called Hard Hat again. Our inspection is tomorrow. Hopefully, no surprises this time but if there are, we totally trust Michael to find whatever it is so that it gets addressed right away.
