We almost drove past it even though the GPS said we arrived. It did not look like a restaurant, but one indicator that there was good food here, was all the commercial trucks in the tight dirt lot. There was seating inside for about 16. There were also a few tables outside. They apologized for the wait, there were about 20 order tickets waiting along the grill. Apparently they do alot of pick up orders as well. Super burgers is in the name, so a burger was what I was going for. I ordered the regular bacon cheese burger with the works w/ fries. There was a double burger as well and I am glad I didn't order that. My regular burger was huge. Easily a half pound+. It was cooked perfectly despite the super busy kitchen. It was a pretty long wait to get it but was worth it. The fries were crispy and not greasy. I have found that the little hole in the wall local joints usually have the best food. This will definitely be a regular ride destination.

I had just left a muscle car museum out side of Myrtle Beach, which I was a bit disappointing, and was making some distance from and heading to Rocky Mount. It wasn't long till Siri got me on some back roads which I wanted to take, keeping clear of major highways and chain food places. Nothing but mom-pop food stands for me and Fritz (my car). Rolling down route 410 (Green Sea Road) I starting to get hungry and looked over and saw a sign for Burger Ranch. I drove past for some reason and told my self to turn around, and glad I did. Pulled into the parking lot which only had one car parked. Once I stepped inside I knew this was a bona fide burger joint. There was only one person working the place and she had it going on. Did not know there were call-in orders being handled till it started to arrive. I ordered just your basic cheese burger, fries and a root-beer. When the sweet lady brought my food to me I could see this was your standard burger, not something you can't fit in your mouth. I had lettuce on mine and she was good enough to put it on the bottom as to not make the bun weak. And the fries where as tasty as they look. I thanked god I turned around and stopped, it was a pick-me-up from the car museum I had just visited. One last thing, get in your car drive and yourself an epic food shack to share. I so recommend this place. Follow me to my next shack. Peace.
